      looks can be deceiving, though.
I've met plenty of total douches during my years as a digital nomad. I've long since learned not to trust appearances.
people like "omg you aren't into yoga? LOOO-SERR". or "you aren't VEGAN?? get away from me, murderer". and plenty of rich, spoiled fake hippies whose parents fund their so-called "soul travels" so they can use drugs and lie around judging people who prefer Mexico over Bora Bora: "only losers hang out in Mexico".
I don't buy people's "woke" bullshit. just saying. one may smile and smile and be a villain.
you know how you can't believe everything you read? you can't believe everything the digital world shows you, too.
just saying...I've met many internet personalities during my travels...youtubers, bloggers, travel writers, photographers, etc....and I'd def rather hang out at a soda and play checkers with a couple local Costa Ricans or smoke a Thai stick on a porch with a blue collar Sri Lankan any day of the week. their realness is comfortable and welcoming.

@@roflmows lmao this sounds a lot more like a personal struggle/personal battle with trauma.... I've been homeless many times in "hippie" communities such as Humboldt county, CA..... I've been deeply involved with people who are simillar to your description....However, everyone has a right to their own process..... You can call them what you want, and pretend/convince yourself they aren't on the same wavelength as you, but you're only as right as you believe you are....

I've had my struggles with addiction as well Juby. I was sexually abused from the ages of 5-10 and I didn't tell anyone until I was 23 so I kept in that pain and so I used to numb myself. Among that and a terrible unbringing i was set up for disaster from the beginning. So hearing you speak so gravel about your experience I felt compelled to share. ❤️💛Peace and blessings to you all. Thank you guys! I love how your dreds have a sacred quality to them and a huge part of your journeys. I see ppl with beautiful locks here in Missoula and I always compliment them. I started putting locks in my hair a few years ago, I was only able to do the top ,sides and a bit if the back. I used a bent fork to back comb. I wish I never took them out. I always have my hair in a bandanna because I do not like messing with my hair. I think I will start them again! Once again thanks and much much love❤

Thank you for making this video!!! I had dreads for about two-ish years, and wasn’t ready for them. I think I’ll give them another go here soon though. I miss my dreads a lot some days. I took the same tools I used to form my dreads, and used that to brush them out. It took about two weeks all together! I didn’t want to shave my head, and didn’t know if brushing out would work, but a pile of hair and some patients later it worked. I love that you made this video!!! You guys have stunning dreads 💜

Beautiful video! I had my dreads for six years and I cut them right before my wedding. I had short hair for 2 1/2 years and I just recently put my dreads back in, it is week two and my biggest regret is that I cut them in the beginning. I plan to keep them and I found that shaving my sides and the back is so comforting to my neck you can’t tell that my sides and back are shaved I have super thick hair. I also learned a very valuable lesson, I believe that cutting my hair I had lost a lot of strength, now the dreads are back in and I will regained my strength. I had realize this going through the cutting journey and the events that happened within the new dread journey a completely fascinated experience and it has only been two weeks. I feel more grounded, more connected with nature and completely balanced mind body and spirit. This is my journey that I have experienced.

Sam Magny which history and culture? The history of Indians, Celts, Africans, Aborigines or native Americans?
No intention to be mean or hurt someone, but I often hear people Claiming Dreadlocks as „their property and history“ when in fact they are the property of the person who wears it and they occured in different cultures.

I have always wanted dreads, but my hair is so thin, I would probably look ridiculous. I love how you address the ridiculous things that people assume because you have dreads. You are each beautiful souls inside and out, if others don't see that; it's their loss. Loved seeing little Azalea starting to take those precious beginning steps! Soon you will be chasing her everywhere!😃 Can't wait for the next video, until then may you be surrounded by love, laughter, and joy!❤💋

Tammy Lockley I think dreadlocks are great for thin hair and was a big reason I finally got dreads. They thicken up over time so it actually gives you a full head of hair. I have since brushed out my dreads but am growing out my hair so I can go back to dreads. If you have always wanted them you should definitely try, and you will likely wonder why you waited so long to do it, but if you decide it doesn’t look right for you then you can always brush them out!

    • @tammylockley8710

For those you thinking of using Castile soap in their locks, don't do it if you have hard water. It will build up to like white mush inside your locks. It came out over time when I switched back to baking soda but some people don't pay as much attention to their locks and the buildup can get to a point they can't handle and they end up doing something drastic. Beware!

Sweeeet! The Dreadloc video! Been lookin forward to it... Great Job! Good Info!
So...I've been Dreadybill for somewhere around 15 yrs kinda lost track of exact date. But its been a long dedicated journey. For me my dreads represent several things. They have grown with me into the person I am today. They have grounded me in a way that's hard to discribe but every day I feel blessed and always tend to receive Possitive Complents from all ages of people. And that makes me 😀👍
I have poured out many o bowels of some Nasty water doin clenses! Although I hardly ever "matainence"them anymore and wash them with Dr B's when needed. And that's about it!
Looking forward to your next post as always. Bless up🙏
    Ps
DEFINETLY recommend you guys check out the hocking hills area if you make your way to Ohio!✌😎👍
