  • When the word brain injury is mentioned, the vast majority of people, both professional and lay think of mechanically induced Traumatic Brain Injury. While this makes sense, there is another type of Traumatic Brain Injury that is not mechanical but resembles TBI in every way except mechanism of injury. (MOI).
Energy based ABI is a type of TBI that is usually forgotten in the shadow of Closed Head Injury, much like Open Head Injury. EBI is caused by the delivery of energy to the brain tissue by photons and sub-atomic particles and causing focal and diffuse injury to the parenchyma of the brain.
In this video we discuss in fairly basic terms, three types of energy based brain injury. EBI from Hyperthermia and Heat, EBI from Electrical Sources, both natural and artificial. EBI from Ionizing Radiation (Ultraviolet, X-rays, and Gamma-rays as well as sub-atomic particles)
We also debunk a common myth about low energy (please note we are discussing low energy microwave energy) microwaves as a source of brain injury. Though a controversial conspiracy, there is no controlled research study from peer reviewed scientific research to support such claims. We are a science channel.
We discuss symptoms of EBI and potential treatments, few that there are. and if you are an interested viewer in a deeper look at EBI, please share below as to what others areas you'd like us to discuss.

I suffered heat exhaustion while teaching in Japan. I had just purchased a bike and was excited to not have to take the train. So I set off early and due to the fact that I had never ridden this route before I was unaware of the elevation change and the inclines involved (720 ft of elevation change but over half in the last half mile). It was also the middle of summer but I thought it would only be a matter of allotting time to cool off before my classes. I gave myself over an hour to cool off and hydrate but was still sweating profusely when my classes started. One of the adult students told me that that day set a new record high of something over 40ºC and suggested that I might have heat stroke. So I made use of my breaks to consume another 3 liters of water and electrolyte rich sports drinks. Things had cooled off substantially when I coasted down the mountain and then enjoyed the gentle slope the rest of the way home. I had heard heat stroke could be dangerous but I had no idea of the danger to the brain.

Thinking how you can ask someone what a friend or family members voice sounds like. Or John Wayne's voice, ora favorite actor or singer's voice. You can ask them about one voice after another and they can instantly think of how each person's voice sounds. How does our brain do that? Could an injury to the brain send that ability out of control and suddenly the person says their hearing voices.

The presenter had two Traumatic Brain Injuries…but we have videos on Sepsis…it’s a corporation that puts these together…the presenter is one of their medical professionals…but we have a couple doctors and nurses that are brain injury survivors who are also specialists…they put this together…I assist in editing printed material and responding to comments…occasionally the presenters do…our primary presenter is a TBI survivor and hasn’t had sepsis that I know of…we do have a good video of the topic though…

@@stefaniebryant3747 the basic strategy is about enhancing the regenerative efficiency of rest and sleep. this is extremely easy to accomplish, yet nobody discusses the idea. indeed, there is no competent discussion about treating brain injuries anywhere. I've been fighting this disability for decades, starting off by way of being completely crippled and now making good ground. Adults today, due to corrupt schooling etc., can not converse as rational agents. So this can be regarded as the basis for the vulnerability to social control via brain injuries, which is as endemic as it is undiagnosed and mis-diagnosed. Do you understand?

@@stefaniebryant3747 Medical professionals are incapable of holding cogent and competent conversations. My family runs the medical industry and educational system. It's all about mind control, hence they are all "useless idiots" as correctly observed by Joseph Stalin--a Jesuit trained "op" per the norm. Useless idiots, it's the standard among all of us enrolled in the so called "helping professions." Nobody cares and nobody can change this.
