That's awesome to hear! I love stories like that. This is the only album of mine that I actually listen to, and love getting lost on different journeys whilst doing so!
@@phaelehevery track you have made is brilliant. I snowboard to your music and listen to it during blizzard storms when I’m in Colorado. It’s like entering another realm.
I write this comment at a low, hearing your music is a force that certainly pushes you from below. Something that lifts the spirit up, the harmonious melody fills my spiritual cup. Phaeleh, I first heard you live years ago, at a harvest festival in Ontario. You gift sound and vibration, to all of us, who might be out of touch with our powers of creation. Rising up we all feel, the music that fills our vessel, and makes us aware of the real. I wanted to leave you this comment as your music has helped me a great deal. Thank you sir, words can't express how your music has helped me, like the rhythm of the waves upon a calm sea. Your frequency surely helps me overcome my own challenges and inner delinquency.
Thank you so much for the kind words, I really appreciate it. I'm always glad that the music has helped people through those more challenging times, and hopefully when things are feeling a bit more positive you can enjoy the music in a different light!
Perfect music for the times we are in, actually, your music is timeless so in fact that would always be true. For me, you are the most underrated Artist this world has ever known. I literally feel your music. Thank you for all the great feelings over the years. I love you all ❤️ Peace.

Your music is good for the brain.....i can focus and study econometrics (!) with these sounds....other music that helps me do that is classical....this means you' re on the bright side :P and i like it! :))
Dude you have been with me a long time across many foreign lands and different lives, one word I can say that will never do your production any justice, Sublime...
#3 I find myself rising and rising to higher dimensions every time I listen to it, I can feel the frequency of this is high vibe. The whole album is, but this song in particular.❤
Hypnos 1:15:29 is a perfect piece of work to bring you to the "state of flow". How hard I was looking for such thing and now just run to it listening to a collection of Spotify. You don't want that perfect spiral to infinity ever comes to an end.
Phaeleh, any plans on making an album like this one? I think this is my most heard album of all. And I listen to a lot of music, from classical, soundtrack, to rock. I really hope you will create a follow up.
I've been sat on a lot of ambient stuff from the last few years that I'm just waiting for the right moment to work on. There is something instrumental and very chilled that will probably happen first. It's not quite the same vibe as this, but there are some parallels. I've got another release I need to finish first, but then that should be the priority. I suspect I will sit down to write a proper ambient album at some point, which would probably be more inline with this one, but hopefully there will be some more chilled stuff out before the end of the year!
what is the animal at the end... & also why is no one else talking about it 😢😭 - you can hear it too right. It sounds in pain and lost.. its really distressing me... who is it? : ' (
It's a pitched down recording of a kitten meowing. There was a lot of natural reverb on the original recording, and when I pitched it down it made it even more eeire, and gave it the distressed whale quality. It was certainly not in any pain at the time ☺
@@phaeleh thank you - was probably just that little kitten or baby animal noise that elicits our sympathy & worry - or simply our attention - even if they're absolutely fine hehe - I thought it was maybe even an invented animal sound! Thanks so much - I appreciate the insight. specially as the reest of the album brought me such peace, and expansive feelings
That's so easy to make yourself ...with a basic freeware music editing program..... You have to make sure to get a seamless loop though.... Or set your CD or media player on repeat; those will do an endless loop for you.
Thanks Paul, appreciate the compliments. In terms of the synths this album is pretty much 95% Prophet 6 and SH101 with a MonoPoly and Waldorf XT making up the rest of the sounds. There's a LOT of guitar in there doing drones and ambience too. Glad you're liking it, it's my favourite album of mine by some way!
Andrew B. times have changed, we should embrace new sounds and progression in music, rather than desperately clutching onto the golden age of 140s which is sadly long gone
I've been listening to your music for years and what i noticed that some time ago I didn't like some pieces, which i do now. And those I loved before sound even better. Its like some quantum music magic :)
I'm really pleased to hear that, I think my stuff has got objectively less accessible over the years, whilst also exploring a wider sound palette at the same time, so definitely isn't as instantly likeable as my older stuff, but I'm glad it's slowly grown on you!

I just wrote a very detailed answer to this for a FAQ so I'm going to paste that... "I wanted an aesthetically pleasing name that wasn't a real word so that I could register things like a myspace (remember that?) I think it was a combination of the word pharaoh, the 'ae' found in Greek names (I did classics at school... nothing cooler than reading about monsters), and the 'l' was because I wanted a vertical line to balance out the look of it. I'd already registered the myspace page before someone asked 'how do I pronounce it', and by that point I was quite attached to it, and wasn't going to be picking anything else."
@@TheLuckyluc555 It's unlikely i'm afraid. It was the idea at the time, but we couldn't feasibly do it. The combination of source material, cost and inherent limitations of vinyl just don't add up to make it a viable option sadly.
