The beauty of Doug Appling’s music extends far beyond any other artist I’ve ever come by. The music he composes helps people find a state of control over their mind and consciousness. That is beauty.

This music reminds of the time that I tripped over a Vimana, fell through a cloud, then wound up somewhere east of north. After getting up, I dusted myself off, had a spot of tea, & ascended the ancient's summit, then let out a soft sigh, realizing the simple & fundamental truth of it all; I am home.
This album burns to listen to. So much sadness stuffed down into the depths of my being just comes bubbling up. It's always there, right under the surface.. Best to let it out once in a while eh?
Just remember. You are not the sadness, it is not you. You are experiencing the sadness. There's a huge difference. And when you honestly and quietly investigate this, you can notice that your own being, the presence of awareness that is experiencing all these things, is really peaceful and happy in itself. These clouds of worldly conditions obscure our remembrance of our inherent peace and happiness, but the sun never extinguishes behind any clouds. It's our finite perspective that casts these shadows. Just rise above the individual and recognize your true nature; Be free eternally! Love.
