I suppose if you can afford a cricut press, you can definitely afford a laminator much cheaper. The ziplock bag is a cool idea with an iron. Thanks for an alternative. Everyone has an iron.

I just came across your channel yesterday. I could barely sleep last night my mind was racing with craft project ideas. I was going to buy the circuit joy to do transfers but your transfer technique with the laser printer is brilliant. And the laminating is great to do our Vacine passports to make a small carry size for your wallet. Thank you so much for your time and effort in teaching us all the great ideas.

Whats the difference between a wax paper and parchment paper?

    • @OurUpcycledLife

Have you ever tried cold seal laminating pouches? With these you don't need a laminator, but I'm wondering if it's easy to laminate with them. When i say easy i mean without creasing.

@@OurUpcycledLife ok thank you for answering and also thank you for posting this informative and helpful video🌸
please i have 2 more questions:
1- what temp i set the iron at? and how long do i leave it on the paper? and i do that to both sides?
2- also i noticed end product is a bit soft and malleable and thin. The reason i wanted to laminate is to make the paper sturdier. My question is: can i repeat the process on the same paper? so it becomes more thickly "laminated"?

This doesn't appear to me to be DIY- "no machine needed", yet you're using a machine. Common now, all cap Title with clikbait? I even suspect your videos might be good if you honed in on the right audience and didn't cheap out with the baited all caps titles that contain obvious lies (you used a machine). That's seriously just constructive criticism, me being mean is on the nose and obvious- I'm trying to help your channel.
Gotta get rid of those questionable comments though.

It’s parchment paper, when I took apart, the plastic peel off, maybe not hot enough? Or I didn’t let cool enough?
