one more question boss. do you believe that the hp omen 16xf0033dx will open in the back the same way as this? i am about to get two 16 gb ramsticks to replace the two 8 gbs currently in but i'm worried i won't even be able to open the laptop to the replacement since it's a 2023 hp omen and the model in this video is a bit older @@ItsBinhRepaired

I tried this and it just bent the frame. I will say this was the best video I could find. The bend is onky noticeable if you know it's there. The gap to get in mine isn't big enough to fit anything in. If you got the $2000 one like I did you might want to get someone whose done it to show u exactly what to do and not to do in person. I usually work on game consoles and desktops so this is a little bit new for me kinda.
Yeah i just bend lan port a bit too... It's just plastic and it's really not solid...what sucks is that it's totally new, but i had blue screen problems and decided to check ram. I couldn't open it anyway lol. I guess we need to buy a new case
Thank you for this video. I am commenting from my 16-K0023dcx with a cracked screen, crazy how fragile these things are. So you can just reuse the original stretch release tape? no need to purchase new strips for the display or bezel?

I have new hp omen 16 and the gap is super tie. I tried your method and it didn’t work. Idk why they design it like this but they should make a little cut out or something to make it easier to open…. I can’t even get the pry tool in between it

if you don't mind me asking, do you have an opinion on the quality of this laptop? In particular the build quality and hinges (my last laptop had serious hinge issues). I've been needing to get a new computer but can't seem to find any ppl agree are actually well made lol

I cant pop the back off once i unscrew it. I cant fit my fingers or any sort of card in the slip. Its simply too snugly fit into place. Is there a tool recommended for this?
Try the side clips first. I use my fingernails.
Not sure if my Omen 16-b0005dx has the same adhesive application method. Have you ever run in to laptops with adhesive tape close to the middle rather than the sides?

Debating 16-xf0033dx , and possibly a good fit. What is the max ram/speed that can be installed? Nvme is 4.0, so up to 4tb per i also presume?
As far as I know, there are no capacity limits to RAM or SSD that can be realistically reached.

I can't just ask the customers to give me their computers to make videos. Even if I could, it wouldn't be worth the time and effort. You might as well be asking me to repaste your computer for the cost of shipping back and forth and not pay anything for my time because I make videos. Lol

Appreciate your video. I just bought 64gb of ddr5 ram at 4800MHz for this laptop. After installation, screen only display black. After I installed the original 16gb back, everything is ok. Do you have any suggestions?

Yes, the same as the 16gb with which it came out of the box. Could it be because i did not unplug the battery

My guess is very short, but hopefully someone will have the answer.
I have a white version of this laptop, and I can tell you now, unless you have the screen turned down low and not gaming, its short. Like, MAYBE a couple of hours if you're lucky. You WILL need to keep your charger nearby. I can stare at mine too long and it'll deplete its battery fast. I'm not exaggerating, its not pretty good. Then again it is a gaming laptop.

I just got the i5 version from bestbuy. Just sat down away from an outlet to play ats. From 100% with full brightness, it lasted about an hour. Its kinda bad. But for $750 and my first caming pc/laptop, i cant complain too much.
Gaming laptops aren't meant to run on battery. The dedicated gpu won't run on battery.
I have the same model and The screen cracked and It won't Charge as well. I don't know what to do :(

Do you have an external monitor? It's best to check the model number on the back of the lcd sadly
@@ItsBinhRepaired i found the model in hwinfo but couldn't find the model for ale anywhere its cmn1629 probably because the laptop is a new 2023 model no screen replacement available anywhere yet

What size are the screws of case?
Get a decent screwdriver set like this amzn.to/48jzoRn and never ask the size again. It's very important that you use what fits best with the least wobble. Not everything should go in "the square hole" if you know what I mean. Lol
Screwdriver sizes sometimes aren't accurate, so you want to see which of your bits fit best always and never assume your screws are the same as what's in my videos. Sometimes people put different screws if they fall out or they lose them.

These HP Omens have a flimsy screen housing / lid. That bezel is so cheap. The screen is easily broken. The trackpad has issues. HP's quality control has issues. For me, the charger stopped working. My HP Omen 16 is the same model in this video and it's been a nightmare that cost $1700. This will be the last HP laptop I buy. I hate this computer.

Hi i got a starting problem with my omen 16 and i thought it would be the cmos battery but i cant find it…is it under the mainboard or is it with the akku?
