HP OMEN 16-b0158TX with 64GB RAM possible!

Despite all sources including officials channels and wmic utility say that maximum supported amount of RAM is only 32GB, the experiment proves that OMEN 16 can work with 64GB RAM!

Thanks for confirming! I have the HP Omen 16 with AMD 6700H GTX 3070ti, ddr5 16gb model where wmic tells 32gb to be max. But Crucial Scan software tells 64gb is possible. Looking by this video it should be possible.

Yes. Now I can run virtual machines with full graphic acceleration support which is only available if VM has minimum 16G.

GREAT! HAVE YOU TRIED NVME SSD pcie 4.0? IF YES, DOES IT RUN WITH FULL PERFORMANCE like it delivers read speeds up to 7,000 MB/s OR IT JUST STOPS AROUND 3500 MB/s like in pcie 3.0

SAMSUNG MZVL21T0HCLR-00BH1 (NVMe 1.3) installed into slot 1 (gen 4) returns 7000 MB/s read and 2500 MB/s write
Crucial CT2000P5PSSD8 (NVMe 1.4) installed into slot 2 (gen 3) returns 3500 MB/s for both read and write.
For best results I must swap the drives, but it is OK for now.
