I picked one of these up, based on your feedback across a few of your videos. My wife wanted the Samsung Frame, but I decided to spend a few bucks more and get the better TV and not have to worry about the One Box. Thanks. Your content is great!
Already have the 77 inches. Going to get the 83 inches for my son. Watching in 4k is amazing. and movies look like you're the producer of the film. You will never want to look at tv the old way. This tv in mind blowing.
One of the best videos I’ve seen. Love the detail on the installation especially with the wall mount that comes with the TV to get a flat look. Thank you for the amazing video as it’s really appreciated!!
Your videos are so enjoyable. You have one of the best personalities of the guys that do these reviews. There's always so much joy on your face when you're unboxing and hanging. Keep them coming!
Amazing video and the G2 at 77 inches is amazing as well. I never thought about about a 77 inch because 65 was a great size. A 77 inch G series just hits different. The QD-OLEDs are great but a 77 inch OLEDs really changes the game for me.
I know it's been a year or so but I just bought from best buy the lg c2 65 inch for 930 bucks ! I think it was a display unit but there's no scratches or burn in but now I just seen they have a 77 g2 gallery edition for 1800 and I'm really tempted in trading but idk
The LG G2 looks nice and Has a gallery design to look like a picture frame. That was a clean setup you did for the LG. Excellent work. But there was some test I know you did not have a chance to try out. Movies on the web are good, but they won't show the full potential as a blu ray or 4K disc. The speed, resolution, and the dirty effect it may have. We know how you love to show the game look on the TV too. I believe for me the Sony A95J is the dream TV I need. But have to wait until next year for a big size in the 70 range to come out. Looking forward to the next show.
Hi! Great video! Have a question though: Did you plan any of the screws (how many?) in the stud? My wall has a stud in the dead center of it (where I want the TV to be) and the other ones to the sides are each 17.5" away from the center. I'm not sure if the 1/2" drywall has the strength to hold a 65" G2 on the wall on its own. Can you give me tips to install it safely? Thank you!
I guess it's cool to wall mount but never understood it when you have a wide enough stand right below it. You're able to swivel and adjust angles and easily move the tv around when it's on a stand compared to being on the wall.

Went into best buy for a g2 and walked out ordering the c2. I need a mount that can swivel and pull out based on where my bed is in my room. I'm not too worried because the panel between the c2 and g2 are the same. I'm just missing out on the gallery look and the fact the g2 gets a bit brighter. I don't think the difference in brightness is substantial though. They'll be getting it here on the 10th I'm pretty excited
Hi. Is there a reason you didn't just run the power cable same as you ran the Hdmi cable? And skip a very difficult step of setting up a whole power box? I'm doing this soon and I'm just curious. Thanks
Sorry, 22:39. Unfortunately, the TV does not hang flat on the wall because the box for the cables protrudes from the wall and the cables are also not neatly laid. I suspect that this was agreed with the owner, but unfortunately it does not look nice that way.
I’d go G2 as well and 100% wall mount with all cables in wall. I can’t do stand mounted TV’s anymore. I need room for my center channel on my stand directly under the tv and the rest of my components under that so I’d also mount the C2 or any other tv
Just bought one. With the G3 coming out I was able to get a G2 at 40% off which was funny as they had the 65 inch at nearly the same price as the 77 inch I picked up. Sadly I bought it for a house we are building that won't be ready for 2 months so it will be in its box until then.
Cant find that wall mount install template anywhere. The LG website is outdated only showing the GX with cables at the center rather than the left side. This is a headache when replacing a previous flush mount panel. Anyway to pride a link to that template sheet?
Nice video! Thank you! I just purchased my LG OLED 83" and plan on wall mounting it. Question: I have a recessed plug. I also have an in-wall for network cable/HDMI that runs through a conduit to another location. I noticed that you used a monoprice recessed outlet box + low voltage unit installed in the lower half of the TV. Is there enough of a gap for the power cable and HDMI to go from the top half then down into the inputs? If not where exactly did you measure for your recessed box, because I will have to splice and do something somewhat similar?

Hi, I have a question. Today I had an lg oled 77 g2 TV installed. It is placed in a high position in the room. At the moment of installation, the installers placed it on the fixture. One side sat well and the other side did not. As a result, it came loose from the fixture and its rear plastic has some marks from the fixture. Would you require a replacement for a new TV? In such a situation because of some signs that are not visible or remain with the existing TV?
Mount doesn't seem to give much leeway if you are trying to center in the middle of a wall. If you fall between stud at center this doesn't seem to be wide enough to catch both studs. Not sure if you covered this in your video
I can install it no problem. I have installed two full motion mounts on my wall so far as my sets and funds got better. My latest set is a Sony 75 Z9K and it was a beast to get sat onto the latest 132lb capability mount I added a few years ago to be able to take my last 65 825 TCL and whatever I might upgrade to later. Should have moved more stuff out of the way and a third person would have been nice but it survived and so did we barely. Those oled sets are a lot lighter for their sizes I think compared to the monster led sets in the upper end of the tech. I need to do the cable boxes and management on my wall someday but still playing with the cables and getting everything worked out so I don't have to change things right away.

You failed to address the fact that the mount is so narrow that it requires mounting directly between two existing studs. How is that likely to be the best location on the wall? at 9:11, you screw in intermediate screws that seems to be going into something other than drywall but how is that possible?
Brandon, if you get this I have a question, 1st thanks for all your videos. This video's the reason I'm going to save up for a few months and get this instead of the QM8. But my question is, is there a reason you used this inwall box as opposed to the Powerbridge you've shown in other videos? The Powerbridged looks a whole lot easier and a lot less work to install. Also seems like a lot less possibility of screwing something up lol. I'm not sure which one to get, but I'm guessing since you're the pro here there was a reason you went this route over the Powerbridge and I'm curious.
looks super easy, even too easy ahahah... only thing is... you should move the power plug like in the video behind the TV because in some states is illegal passing the power cable behind dry wall... but if you collect all the remaining cable and push into the hole the all thing is pointless, was just easier make 2 small holes and pass the power cable inside and connect to the main plug

Had a Samsung 75” and 50” that only lasted 4years 2018, both panels died within a week of each other, got a 77” and a 55” LG’s to replace. We’ll see how these last. Beautiful pictures!
Good video, thanks mate, I would not have a clue how to mount a TV that size, about to buy a 48 inch for my
flat, but will employ some to fit it after watching your video
I prefer to put my more expensive tv's on stands only because I think it helps the air to circulate more in hopes of keeping it a bit cooler.
May I know the speakers used on both sides of the console? They look nice & I would have placed them on the console itself.. :)
Wow.. finally!
Honestly never thought u would put this tv on you're channel.
I would rather walmount the G2 since I already have my tv wall mounted
I'll take that 65 inch LG E7 if he wants to give it away for a hug discounted price.
In fact, most folks would love to have that E7
This is the one I purchase last month G2-77 my favorite TV of this year 🔥🔥🔥🔥
