I have an 85” and I must say, for video gaming and movies, BIG is amazing. It’s not 97 but I didn’t pay $30,000 for it either! The TV it replaced was a 720i 50” Plasma from 2006 so it was quite the upgrade!

I have an 85" in the living room and a 75" in the bedroom. Wherever I go, a big screen follows me :D However, if you don't have the sound to match the big screens, you might not be taking full advantage of the settings. I got a Q990c for the living room and Q930b for the bedroom.
I went from OLED to mini LED (but in 85") this year and never looked back. I love the brightness and color richness of the mini LED. I will be purchasing the audio calibration from you soon for my Nakamichi Dragon soundbar. Thanks
That's why the Sony X95L is the best 4k mini-led in tha 🌎! You can only see it @ a very select few electronic stores in the US as Best Buy doesn't carry it...The X93L comes close kinda and in it's own right looks great but the X95L's blacks are nearly oled black along with even better contrast & higher specular HDR highlights...

The volume adjustment is from 1-100 level, but 18 is more than enough for my medium sized living room. However, I'm a hi fidelity music enthusiast, I still prefer hi fi gears for music listening.

Martin Logan speakers are one of the best sounding speakers I ever owned. But, they are way too close to the wall, and have no dampening behind them... You are getting 20% of what they can do. The difference in sound will surprise you!

I have no idea the about the manufacturing difference of going up close to 100” on an OLED, but it’s such a huge price jump vs say going from a 75” +/- to an 85”. I’m waiting patiently for a Sony Master series 100” new generation OLED to replace my A90J 83” which I love, but not at $30K.
Would have been good t put it on a wall mount that would bring the TV out to where the speakers are so it is closer and hence even bigger from the view spot. Flush wall mounts don't make sense when everything below and around them comes out 2'

C2 83 owner here, I love mine so good on movie nights but this thing looks incredible. But that’s $45k in Aussie dollars that’s just stupid to pay that amount for a tv. We can get 98 inch Samsung qn90a and Sony 90l leds for $7-9k instead. Would hate to downgrade to led but size is king in the living room.
The sign of a professional installer is him using a dust pan to catch the debris from drilling holes,instead of cleaning it up after it falls on the floor or furniture.
I enjoy your videos in the install of this TV. As an electrician, I would’ve liked to of seen you splice all the wires together and pigtail out to the receptacle you took power from rather than to use the backstab.
Really nice for small dedicated home theater room. Much better than projector. Only insane, or insanely rich would buy this for normal tv setup, but it's super nice.

Shouldn't the smaller models cost more because of their sharper image? This is even without considering how judder is magnified on surge a large surface. At that size 4K makes no sense. Should be at least 8K tu future proof it for the next 5 years. But 8K TVs don't yet support 120Hz.
In smaller rooms like this one a dark wall color behind the TV adds to the immersive quality. Its a great TV: would love to have one. I only have an 85" but my dark curtains behind it make it look big and more impactful.
I went from 50" to a 75" Sony and it was amazing, also bought a new speaker system. I'm getting Govee TV Backlight 3 Lite next which changes colour with the screen.
Should have just bought a wall mount that allows you to move your TV how you like it. A lot less mounting. The Screws are larger and screw right into the wall boards. That last TV you just removed looked absolutely beautiful and was a good size. Once you go OLED, you never go back!
Give it 2-5 years they will be around 7k which is still expensive but will be affordable, the big tv craze is in rn and we are just getting 98inch TVs and 100 TVs for 2k so yea give it like a few years, fomo sucks, but what sucks more is spending money for something to be way cheaper in the near future
The cord design being long can be channeled behind the sht. Rock lower to be next to another outlet in the same stud bay. It appears thats the reason, possibly 🤔
Oled for me is history. I got 2 years ago a lg oled tv and now after 2 years the screen is burning in and the colors is not good. Yellow is green and i got stripes in my screen. Big bummer!

What about the input lag? It’s wireless so it must add some to what a wired LG use to have “4 to 9ms”. I don’t think it’s a smart choice for gamers. Z2 or G2 97” is better choice i think.
I think the only people that should worry about input lag are the pro gamers or people trying to get there in which case they would be gaming in 1080p on a small monitor anyways.
@@asole100 I play competitively on a PC and in my 77” LG C1.. 4ms is amazing really.! No difference between a monitor and this. I actually feel even better playing on a big TV with the benefit of Oleds color/pixel speed.
@@asole100 PC monitors are way behind on so many things.. you can barely find a 4k monitor that have it all. When it comes to PC monitors you will be making some compromise. Frame rate/input lag/response time + what games you playing/ card you have etc Oleds are starting to get into that market and im so happy about it! Still expensive though. 4K + 144hz + fast pixel response of oleds is just unbeatable and much better than any 240hz LED monitors.

My iPhone 15 Pro Max screen is OLED so you need to record your shows in high definition so I can watch it in high definition on my old iPhone 15 Pro Max!👍
The only way i could ho higher than 65" from my viewing distance, without compromising visual quality (PPI vs distance) is to get an 8k TV. My next upgrade will be 85" 8k OLED when that starts rolling out.

Crazy to think that in its day the plasma was equivalent to this in terms of being the absolute best of the best.

Great video and meticulously installed. I love how you repaired the drywall before installing the TV. The TV cost more than the house.
He should use drywall mesh tape over the seems on the drywall patch before mudding it to prevent it from cracking on the seem later.
Gotta appreciate that we live in an era where a mattress sized TV is a completely normal thing.

The only way i could ho higher than 65" from my viewing distance, without compromising visual quality (PPI vs distance) is to get an 8k TV. My next upgrade will be 85" 8k OLED when that starts rolling out.

15:49 that connection drop when someone moves across is a serious turn off. I guess Lg will say don’t place it there but, what’s the point of a wireless connection anyway?
