From a session dated four years ago, I'm thrilled to present this timeless gem from Ole-Morten Ramberg Holm, a project close to my heart where I contributed on drums, mixing, and mastering.
This song resonates deeply with me; its beauty and positivity shine through its impeccable composition, arrangement, and mesmerizing vocal delivery. I've enjoyed immersing myself in its layers countless times-it's truly my kind of music, reminiscent of the epic sounds of Maiden and Helloween.
A highlight for me was reuniting with my friend João Pascoal, who brought his magic to the basslines once again.
Ole-Morten challenged me to infuse some Van Halen and Mike Portnoy vibes into the mix, and I gladly obliged-especially unleashing those Portnoy chops! This recording also marked the debut of my cherished Mapex Saturn V Drumkit and a stunning set of Masterwork cymbals. Massive gratitude to Paul Charters for generously lending the mics, interface, and stands that made this recording possible.
