I’ve been playing (various things) for a long, long time now and have always left the drumming to the talent drummers… but recently got an electric kit because great way to unwind, and a great challenge for my aging brain. Problem? How to keep it interesting. Answer? What’s Emma got for us today.? Seriously, you’re just about the best, most unpretentious (and funniest!) teacher I’ve encountered on- or offline

Thank you! I need a tom groove for the bridge of a song I'm recording a demo for, and while your groove isn't exactly what I had in my head, it's a great inspiration to help me figure out what I want to play. Your videos are great inspiration material for this guitarist/keyboardist/singer who once dabbled behind a kit many moons ago.
I love your style and you have a groovy personality. Also extremely talented . You have a way of making your lessons stick and that is saying something as my brain has seventy years of abuse I was there in the 60's. You would have loved it... Keep on rocking professor... If I had to put odds on it, the rock high pattern is 99% likely because it's rock music and 1% because of the rocking motion.

I really like that tom groove. Was listening to an old Smashing Pumpkins song today, can't remember which, and it had a very close version of this. Was good to understand it finally.
Your content is just what I'm looking for. Getting back into drumming after a very long break and muscle memory ain't what it used to be!! Your clear lessons, cool rhythms (Just set up my tiny home studio for recording in small spare room) are very useful and your humour is appreciated. Too many YTers are too serious!! Thanks Emma!
