Ghost looks super-cool, but not as much as my M10-P "White" limited edition (with 50 summilux) that i obtained 10 days back. I'd have preferred the 35 FLE summilux but it was not to be, as it comes bundled with the Ghost edition. I am a lover of All-Things-WHITE, but for those who like Grey/Silver/Ash shades, ... this Ghost is plain gorgeous. The finish of its 35 Lux is better than my 50 summilux though, i admit. My Lens cap is black too, doesn't go well with the lens, should've been white
Very pretty but who would dare to use one? Can't complain if these Leica special editions not intended for use help to keep the company afloat for those of us who want to use their stuff to take photographs with, and from that point of view I don't think they ever made a less compromised camera in the M range than the M2, which is flawless for what it does. I would like to see them start a factory refurb service for old Elmar lenses, or some, at least; with so many made, there is not going to be much of a market for new ones.
First of all I love it!!! But, I would be terrified by handling a camera this colour, I would imagine how scratches and other marks would blemish the beauty especially rough handling, but at this price owners wouldn't blink an eye if that happened if money was no object. I have a brand new Q2 and luckily it's black so not so worried regarding the odd scratch. Incidentally imagine using the Hyperfocal distant scale would be difficult to see in low light. More of a collectors item, but very nice.
@@robc7055 I would buy it to use it not to resell it as by that time I will be taking portraits of St Peter. Then it will be called Heaven Edition or more likely Hell (But it won't be scratched!!).
Thats possibly the coolest looking Leica to date.
The gray buttons on the back is just lovely.
I prefer the leica stealth edition, have you seen that one?
A trick : watch series on Flixzone. Been using it for watching loads of movies lately.
@Alejandro Ezequiel Yea, I have been using flixzone for years myself :D

Great leader with that light effect !
Music is top notch !
I hope you do a getting started with the SL2 video soon
So awesome! As a poor teacher, I'll never have access to anything like this. 😒
A nicely used M8 with a Voigtlander 35 f1.4 would be cooler still, and yours for $2000... starts the Leica journey!
Beautiful!
Yeah, this is definitely a gorgeous camera.
is the included lens aluminum barrel or brass barrel ?
I like the look of the lens
That lens cap should have been grey not black. Cutting corners.
AGREED: You would have expected that from Leica
I agree. A matching metal lens and/or body cap would have looked better.
ironically, how will this Ghost paint job age after use?
gianni2046 who cares?

once its scratched up you could call it the Lenny Kravitz Ghost Edition and charge another 5K

So pretty.
Pretty in the eye of the beholder. I prefer legible.
The Hans Zimmer style music is too much lol
Haha. Yeah, it's a bit dramatic. Maybe went a bit too far on that choice.
@@RedDotForum 😘
can we please stop with the lord of the rings music on videos?
NIce & Thanks :)
Hodinkee is about as cheesy noveau riche as it gets.
It’s a MP not a Monochrom
Also, would anyone interested in Leica gear *not* know what a ghost bezel / dial is?
