Long ago I remember a soft drink commercial where this individual is crawling on a godforsaken hot desert and when he finally gets rescued, he shuns away a drink of water for a bag of potato chips as an excuse to enjoy the soft drink. That's how you make me feel when I listen to your review on this Leica. I've never shot with a Leica and probably never will, but having said that, the way you detail the history behind the camera makes me want to make an excuse to get one. My friend; you're a throwback to a different era which quite frankly we need more of today! Like I coined. you before: You are a UA-cam scholar. Amazing work again buddy!
I'm in the market for one and came across your video. How you do not have 10x the subscribers you do is beyond me. The thoughts, poetic view and review on the Leica simply leaves me speechless. Love it.
'Leica M10 captures stunning images IF the person behind the camera has what it takes" JUST LOVE THIS STATEMENT. This is so true, some have reviewed M lenses against canon DSLR lenses and said that the Ms were a little less sharp well that could have well been attributed to not hitting focus using the RF. I personally am in love with Leica, am just an average guy and love the mechanical feel of the M system and how it engages one into shooting stills with all their being, its pure meditation, gratification, sense of accomplishment etc. Same goes with almost anything - using a handsaw instead of a power saw, sand paper instead of the sander, get a feel for your work, its truly rewarding that way, driving an old classic fully mechanical car, stick shift, aah what a feeling, todays generation is missing all that, and sadly its not their fault that they don't know all this or want to experience it.

I cant envisage being rich enough that that would make sense, Culturally I think it’s an artefact, The smartphone is the New Leica . A good 'essay' on Leica, with a hint of review of the M10-P along the way. It is remarkable that this, the simplest of cameras, even in digital form, should have been chosen by some of the best photographers over the decades, to create some of the most iconic photographs of our time. No other camera comes close, for so long. That says something... It says less is more, although yes it is a shame that less cost so much more to buy 'less', but maybe the aspiration to a Leica M is a worthwhile wait for the majority of photographers..?
Great video as usual. The Leica replaced the Speed Graphic for press work? No, not really. It was the camera of choice for the travelling war correspondents like magnum pros but not the local press corp. It wasnt the right tool for the job and didnt have the "perceived" image quality (a sobering thought in these days of sensor size wars). The camera of choice into the 60s for press hacks was the Rolleiflex and its many clones. Astonishing now that the number one professional camera through the 50s and 60s is now largely forgotten (let that be a warning to you Nikon). The 6x6 negative was demanded by editors and the camera, built like a tank, could be held upside down above your head in a press pack to get photos of the celebrity or politician. If you look at newsreels of teh time you see a flurry of Rolleis waving in the air high above the press pack. This pretty much was standard till the end of teh 60s when the SLR started to take over. My father only used his Leica IIIg for bulk work like schools; one roll would do a classroom. He used his Rolleiflex for press work, portraits and wedding receptions. The wedding itself was the sole domain of his Kalart 5x4; in his book nothing less than cut film would do for the money shots. I have a much softer spot in my heart for his Rolleiflex than his Leica IIIg which he left me; I learnt photography on his Rolleiflex in the early 60s; a big step up from the Kodak Brownie i had used since 1956. Comparing the sound of the shutter of the M10 vs M10-P and choosing which one I love more is like choosing one of your beloved children as your favourite. I could listen to both for minutes for their own reasons. I’ll admit though that the M10-P is more quiet indeed, and in many scenarios I can see why it would be the winner over the M10. Other than that I cannot decide if it is the red dot logo or the screw that is more harsh. I’d want a black dot logo or no hole. And no LCD, a’la M-D. Thank you for such a thoughtful review and beautiful sample images!
It pleases me to know that a product like the Leica M continues into the modern age - perhaps not a tool I would personally choose, but I feel that the photographic world is (at least slightly) richer and more interesting with such a choice available.
Thank you for this deep and thoughtful review. Your emotion is very clear too. Tried an M10R today on trial. For me its all about the glass and not the body. The Summilux 50mm f1.4 I tried was out of this world. Such character. Truly special as even an idiot like me can see for the first time. And its nice to have to focus again.
All the Leica Cameras and lenses are capable of absolutely beautiful imagery. True works of art. There is something about the photos that are just very different from mass produced Japanese cameras. It is true
Beautifully said brother. This actually sums up the reason I just gathered my pennies to purchase my first Leica, an m9. I can’t help but see this continuation of creation in this machine and want to be a part of being a part of that.
LOL I almost dumped my chromebook off of my lap onto the floor laughing at the AC Cobra reference and Apple Car Play. I'll never be able to own one of these cameras but I do love the rich history and iconography of the brand and have learned most of what I know about Leica here on your channel. Nice work, Mr. Hugh.
Wow those photos are amazing ! I swear people look and react differently to a Leica M! It’s probably the unobtrusive size and look of it that puts people at ease and as a consequence it shows up on their faces
Hi! OMG! I thought I met my brother from another mother! You said all the things I feel and talk about to my Leica user friends ever since they produced digital Ms! I still shoot film with IIIF, Ms, and R, lust after the digital Ms but can't justify the buy. I'm sharing this video to my buddies. oh I was 5 years old when my Army uncle came from Europe to last see us (he setup a farm over there), with a IIIF, my dad had a box Browny and that Leica fit my tiny hands so good! On my 25th birthday my dealer had a complete kit I grabbed it so fast his head spun! Thank you from a new subscriber!
Thank you again for this excellent video. I recently purchased a M10 without P. As now they are readily available and reliable due to the recent firmware updates. I sold my M-P (typ 240) to fund the M10 and kept my heavily brassed M9 and my film M6TTL and my fathers Leica IIIc.The quiet mechanical shutter will be an asset. I use my Fujifilm X100F (leaf shutter) in environments where the shutter sound can be disturbing. Most silent shutters (without shutter mechanism) are still not OK the nearest we get is the Sony A9. The Leica M has always been something special before they were annihilated by a Japanese camera company in the late 50s with flappy mirror camera's although they had visioflex. It is a 35mm mirrorless camera available since 1925! Will perhaps consider the M10-P next year when it will be available and the eventual glitches ironed out.
I struggle with the thought of buying this. Using a 50mm 1.4 wide open, to capture any decisive moment (at shallow depth of field) is a joke. Even after 20 years of practice (according to some togs), it's near enough impossible to use it for those momentary shots wide open and guarantee an in focus shot. Why would I want to zone focus after buying a 1.4 or even a 0.95 ? I was very close to dropping 11k £ on an m10 and 50mm....but having read countless statements from very talented wedding togs, saying that it's virtually impossible to focus quickly at wide apertures... well, I can't justify the purchase. Money aside ... as a photographer, I like the idea of super shallow depth of field used for capturing that "decisive" moment. You can't do that with a rangefinder... A bit tongue in cheek.... but, if you want to get the Leica look with a DSLR, just wait for the focus beep, then nudge the focus ring slightly...job done ! At the end of the day, the camera bodies are just tech.. gonna be worth little in 10 years time... and the lenses ? Gorgeous...of course... maybe I'll try a 0.95 on my canon.... but I can't help thinking that I'll miss the fast autofocus of the canon 50mm 1.2 for capturing life as I see it, when I see it. Leica may well go bankrupt soon..... I hope not.... that would be a loss to the art of photography.
Well, you had me convinced to hold off on the M10 D since my Q is relatively new. But then I watch this. So, no M10 D for me (for now). Oh, by the way an M10 P ships out today, ordered of course from your link. As promised, I told my wife this is all squarely on your shoulders. 😎
Nice! The 35 'cron ASPH was my favorite, wish I'd never sold it. But the 1.4 Leica lent me yielded that first set of images -- and especially for that very first shot -- just...stunning lens. Thanks for joining the conversation!
Three Blind Men and An Elephant Productions I am sure that I would love the 35 Lux but when I bought my M years ago I could not justify the huge price difference over the Summicron. I have to say that I‘m really happy with my decision. The Summicron is so small, lightweight and the optics are just amazing. By the way I really enjoy your videos on this Channel! Keep up the great content. Cheers from Austria 🤗
AcidicDelusion It is good to recognize the class of problem. 🙏🏻With this written, for me, it comes down to focusing and cost. I’ve reached the point where I need the option of auto AF. Sigh. Cost becomes a secondary consideration at that point. But with those 47+ mp, the Q2 DOES truly give me a 28 and 35 fields of view with higher resolution than the M10, 50 with less (15 mp or so, still more than my M8, so still workable). Since I already have a CL, interchangeable lenses are covered as well. If Leica released an updated Typ 020, however, the decision for me would become much harder.
@@3BMEP Thank you for your reply. You're a legend🙏. This will be my first Leica, so I'm taking my time but like you said, I've gotten so used to AF that the M10 might be a shock to the system and oh my does the q2 just about tick every box going.
Very well put on all accounts. I have been shooting Leica since 2001 and as you said, their cameras continue to whisper to me and spur me on to do good work and make every moment matter. I have continued to mainly shoot film but a couple of years ago I bought a demo M-D and thoroughly enjoyed it, it fitting into my analog workflow quite seamlessly. I just traded up to the M10-P and couldn't be happier. It's nice to have a screen when you want to review (though I still keep preview off). What I didn't notice until I had one in my hands was how matte the black finish is. It's quite striking. I thought I would miss the black paint of the M-D but the new finish is a different kind of sexy. Happy shooting!
I know that you are biased to Leica. That's why I like listening to your videos. I am exactly the same way. This is not the first time I have watched this video.
Appreciate your style, content, and obvious skill. Leica has a certain something many do not understand. After shooting over 6,000 images in recently Europe with a simple Leica Q, I just love the output. As compared to Canon 5D3 with L lenses, or Fujifilm X-T2 with their best lenses, the Q for me means simple execution with incredible output quality. DNG or JPEG colour and lens contrast/colour rendition mean very little post processing for my taste. Other makers colours are either nuclear or flat depending on the make/situation, and the Leica quality also reflects in black and white conversions. For me you pay a little more and get much more ! Oh, and I believe the Leica history means making a tool with clarity of purpose - just get the shot you see and desire rather than focusing on all the options of other hi tech cameras, many of these options, I suspect, most owners do not use.
This was phenomenal, your presentation, explanation, production, visuals, audio, the whole package - very professional and well done! Liked and subscribed
The Photographer's Eye I think most people wouldn’t. The M10-P is a lovely and very niche product, with volumes and resultant pricing reflecting that central fact. :)
That is a sweet combo. I am using the Zeiss Batis 25mm f/2.0. I am awaiting Zeiss announcing the Batis 40mm f/2.0. I have found that I enjoy manual focusing using a high quality EVF over a RF viewfinder. Being able to go to 7x magnification for critical focusing means I don't throw away that 42MP resolution. I also like that they can compensate for very low light conditions. Having 5 stops of IBIS brings out the best in these older lenses. I may get less steady as I get older but my lenses don't have to do the same.
Bravo Hugh , Bravo. Another perfected inspiring peice. Dont care what it is , when you speak , i listen. Always flawlessly articulated. Like the M , Endlessly inspiring. Keep it up brother.
Thanks for this review. You’ve saved me from scrimping money away to buy this camera. Although my first film camera didn’t have auto focus, I can’t imagine taking a step backward, especially as I age.
Something I found interesting, Hugh, was that like Leica, Rolex also has to walk a fine line between tradition and innovation with its classic models e.g. the Submariner, Explorer, etc. Some change is necessary to keep up with advancements in materials, functionality but too much change will alienate their traditional customer base. It can be a tough balancing act. I wonder how Leicaphiles will deal with the removal of the Red Dot? In some respects, that would be like taking the Crown off a Rolex. Cheers, Stephen
Reminds me the Breitling slogan: You don't own a Leica. You merely keep it for the future generation. I love the fact that it something you don't throw away and buy a new one after a year.
@@3BMEP Hugh, I am really contemplating having the M10-P. I can, Of course, Have M240 or M9 or M8 (Well... Not after what you've said) at a much lower price. I have an M6TTL , And after years of shooting Nikon DSLRs for the more "Semi/Pro" work, I would like to have something with a heritage. For the ages. Without being "On the edge" of upgrading every single (or two) models? A camera that will be "Good enough" and not require that endless race of upgrades and selling and reselling. That's the reason I'm thinking of a new M10-P: Looks like it has everything a Leica shooter would need, As opposed to the issues with previous models. And waiting 4-5 years until the M10-P will be sold on 2nd hand market... Well: I may not live until then :-) but that's my question to you: Is it really a talisman for ages? Or is it, Again, A tool that will need ongoing upgrades and re-paying for a new model, As opposed to the Film M? Is it still something that is "Something you can inherit to your kids", Is it really what you've said about it, In the sense, it makes for the film M most of your video? In the "I hold history in my hands" sense? OR is it just another "Fancy iPhone that's obsolete after the next one comes out"? Am I realistically expecting it from the M10-P?
Sharon Leibel I think the M10P is a fully sorted product. It could well be the last camera you’d want for quite a while. It IS a tool - AND a talisman. If you wanted to spend less and could still find the talismanic qualities in it (I can), you might be surprised if you spent time with the CL. Different shooting experience, but it is well sorted and roughly the same size with a clear design heritage of the first Leica’s.
Good thank you. I have to say regarding the hybrid viewfinder on the Fuji Xpro2, I found it obtrusive and fiddly. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the monochrome 10
My everyday camera is a Hasselblad 500 CM. I feel the same way about it as you do about the Leica M, it is a talisman that helps transport my artistic soul onto a light sensitive surface. To each his own. That being said, I have spent real money on photography, and would not hesitate to get a Leica M, if I thought it would speak to me like it speaks to you. Not being sure, I will wait until the lottery makes buying one a simple click to buy event, instead of a marriage ending thunderstorm.
I would love to hear your take on the Leica MD... I don't think there is an informative video about it. I think it get over looked just because of its simplicity.
That accessory EVF just ruins the aesthetic of the camera. They should have built one into the body. Isn't $8,000 + lenses enough money to shell out without having to buy an overpriced EVF? Not that I would buy a camera for its looks anyway. I buy a camera for the looks of the images it can capture.
I love the M bodies but health concerns make it impossible for me to justify getting an M body that doesn’t come with Ibis. The Q2 will be my 1st journey into the land of Leica. I love your videos it's like watching the IFC.
Hello! I really like to her you talking!. I want to get into (digital) Leica! I have an analog M4-P and watched your videos, which mirror a lot of my thoughts and perhaps of many other enthusiasts. Thank you for that.
You're more than welcome. If I had the wherewithal and had addressed more important issues first, I'd get that M10-D. Or -P. As it is, I've entered digital Leica for the second time (M8 was the first years ago) with a used TL2 and new Visoflex. You already have the glass!
Thank you for your recent answer. To be honest, I started with a 35mm lens from Voigtländer, which is awesome for my kind of Photography, which is primarily Streetphotography.
Great presentation. Challenge for you professionals with a boat load of cameras...try going a calendar year with no photographic purchases. So such and such camera is made like a ton of bricks...yet they are constanately being replaced with upgraded models, very nice if you can afford it. I wish that I had retained my old Voltlander rangefinder camera...no battery...could survive a Minnesota winter.
I love Leica build quality but it just never translates to the Digital M body, the M lens pricing is justified but the bodies are not unless they are Film!.
No way to rationalize the ridiculous price. So it must contain magic. I wonder if these revered photographers would choose leica over other cameras if they were alive today?
@@3BMEP Thank you, I enjoyed that interview very much. What beautiful images. Perhaps we should just be grateful for the wonderful art they have left us rather than what "paintbrush" they used.
There is a value to thinking just as you suggest, Peter. The flip side is that the original Leicas I-III really allowed a new kind of photography - more than a bit like smartphones today. But by far the most interesting things about photography to me are the images and the people who took them (ergo our new "What Were You Thinking" series. Much more to come. But in the meantime: welcome to the conversation!
Nice interview. I have an M3 film camera myself; still works. But I am always curious about what the "masters" would do with access to today's tech. Great videos and keep up the great work.
Your comments re stewardship presuppose durability/longevity of the electronics. That then compels the question as to whether anyone would replace the electronic hardware in the event of catastrophic failure. With regard to the future development of the company, it is noteworthy that Leica is investing in high tech imaging, which has a great deal of potential.
I LOVE THIS COMMUNITY! Thank you - I STAND CORRECTED. I didn't think to test the Q because it's not as new as the CL nor old like the IIIa. But I do happen to have one in house at the moment and just ran downstairs to the bat studio to test them both. There was more ambient noise than my earlier tests, but the Q's max dB reading was 4dB lower than the M10-P's - though the M10-P's was in turn 7dB lower than our Panasonic GH5, which I think is pretty quiet. IN ANY CASE: thanks for contributing to the conversation!
What a slippery slope the lure and the lore of the Leica. I found your video amazing. For months, the spark my M3 kindled years ago, has grown into roaring rage. But your presentation did nothing to diminish my affliction. Seems to have proven fatal, or at least impactful. In the next day or so, I have a pending sale of my 1DX2 - which provides the remaining funding for - ah, guess what? Then again, not all pending sales happen, so - in conclusion - it's all your fault (just kidding). Thanks for a sensitive and borderline sensible presentation.
No: it is not properly white-balanced. Well, I should add: not on my 27" Retina 5K, but definitely on my 42" Panasonic flat panel TV using picture pre-sets. It looks fine (along with everything else like Netflix) when I trim the settings a touch.
Absolutely. In my rush, I neglected to manually set the WB (and I didn’t want to take the time in post). What makes AWB here challenging is the daylight backlit background vs. the tungsten balanced key, but when I DO manually balance I set for my face, not the background. AWB’s compromise fails.
easy... nobody is perfect ;-)... i like how you doing your videos, also like the fact you dont talk so fast like a couple of youtubers. its very nice to look and hear.... keep on your VERY nice work.
Uhhhh!! Buy Sony, orrrrr (Moment of Silent) Buy Fuji, or hmmmmm Panasonic, why you critic Leica M? when it is not the same range of the other brands? Ohhh yes, use Smart Phone !!! (moment of silent)

is there a reason why one should get the 10 over the P?

All the Leica Cameras and lenses are capable of absolutely beautiful imagery. True works of art. There is something about the photos that are just very different from mass produced Japanese cameras. It is true
Beautifully said brother. This actually sums up the reason I just gathered my pennies to purchase my first Leica, an m9. I can’t help but see this continuation of creation in this machine and want to be a part of being a part of that.
Enjoy - and welcome!
Hugh.
brad miller 😎
Thanks for the kinds words and joining the conversation!
The first black and white picture is stunning.
The best camera by the best reviewer. I'd love your thoughts one day on the Monochrom and the screenless M-D 262 one day.
Jonathan Hold that thought: It’s in the queue. ;) Thank you!
Well, you had me convinced to hold off on the M10 D since my Q is relatively new. But then I watch this. So, no M10 D for me (for now). Oh, by the way an M10 P ships out today, ordered of course from your link. As promised, I told my wife this is all squarely on your shoulders. 😎
Philip Shucet What is there to say but: enjoy!
Poetry.
First time viewer, instant subscribe. Eloquent and soulful review. Keep it up.
I love my M 240, the 50 Summilux and the 35 Summicron. It is an amazing tool and I shoot Weddings, Portraits, landscapes, Boudoir and Nudes with it.
I went through the same decision process. Willkommen!
Great video like always. I think the colors of the M10 are more natural than the M11, what do you think?
I don’t compare colors much since I’m mostly a B&W shooter, but I love the colors of both.
Can't decide between the q2 or M10. First world problems, I know....but it's a damn difficult decision.
Right back at you! Thanks for sharing your thoughts; welcome to the conversation.
Love your reviews. The M10-P will be in my bag soon... Cheers and keep up the great work.
that camera is a beauty!
Leica is killing it lately with their lineup
it is so sleek and discreet!
thanks for sharing this
this was fun to watch!
This was phenomenal, your presentation, explanation, production, visuals, audio, the whole package - very professional and well done! Liked and subscribed
Jared Tennant 🙏🏻
Hugh..I could listen to you all day....love the way you communicate.
🙏🏻😊
Thank you for walking us through the continuum of choice.
Can you pls reply your opinion on the leica r series of cameras and lenses thank you
I'm love my film M but if I ever had to go back to digital I'd want an M10. Manually focusing on digital is a chore nobody does it right except Leica.
Joseph Delgadillo Sigh. Yeah.
Which classic Leica M lenses (lenses made in 1960-70) can and cannot be used with the Leica M10-P?
Robert Turner I’m unaware of any that won’t - anybody else know differently, please chime in.
Love your videos, I got to wonder why one would want this over a Sony A7RIII with Loxia lenses that can produce stunning images.
I may get less steady as I get older but my lenses don't have to do the same.
shotput8 beautifully put!
Rangefinder = different experience
chuck90504 Yes!
Your reviews are sublime! Such a wonderful display of intelligence.
Bravo Hugh , Bravo. Another perfected inspiring peice. Dont care what it is , when you speak , i listen. Always flawlessly articulated. Like the M , Endlessly inspiring. Keep it up brother.
The highlights on Leica digital images always seem (to me) to slightly blow out...love using their lenses though.
Many variables at work here - display, my ineptitude...
Your work is very cool..
Ah, thanks man!
Why does Leica not offer the 75mm Summicron f2 in silver?
Thomas Geist I’d guess lack of demand; sufficient ROI; and/or higher priorities.
Thanks for this review. You’ve saved me from scrimping money away to buy this camera. Although my first film camera didn’t have auto focus, I can’t imagine taking a step backward, especially as I age.
Don't get me started. ;)
Stephen Scharf just so, Stephen!
Where is the link to the conversation with Elliot Covert?
Oops - it’s in there now, sorry - just below the SL and CL-TL2 reviews
Three Blind Men and An Elephant Productions Thnx. I’m gonna watch it when I get up it’s like 4am right now.
Reminds me the Breitling slogan: You don't own a Leica. You merely keep it for the future generation. I love the fact that it something you don't throw away and buy a new one after a year.
Sharon Leibel I think there is truth to that. Thank you!
Well: I may not live until then :-)
but that's my question to you: Is it really a talisman for ages?
Sharon Leibel - the advertising slogan you refer to is from Patek Philippe not Breitling.
Good thank you. I have to say regarding the hybrid viewfinder on the Fuji Xpro2, I found it obtrusive and fiddly. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the monochrome 10
Daniel Coburn Check out our first look video! 😊
TBMaAEP did you ever review the M10 (non-P)?
klaus ingemann Not per se.
Not being sure, I will wait until the lottery makes buying one a simple click to buy event, instead of a marriage ending thunderstorm.
crbrelativity 👍😉
I love your honesty on the M10-P... Great review.
Happy you enjoyed it!
Had something cooking so stuck with this longer than I expected. Completely lost me at 14:08 with the 'oh yeah' though.
Truly an eloquent review sir....
Thank you!
Love your thoughtful reflections.
Dan WRAY I appreciate that you do! Thank you!
I would love to hear your take on the Leica MD... I don't think there is an informative video about it. I think it get over looked just because of its simplicity.
your storey telling is mesmerising
Such a beautiful and outstanding review.
🙏🏻
You, and your work, are awesome.
So glad you like what we do - thank you!
You’re a gift to the photography world.
Tom Kaszuba 🙏🏻😊
That accessory EVF just ruins the aesthetic of the camera. They should have built one into the body. Isn't $8,000 + lenses enough money to shell out without having to buy an overpriced EVF?
Not that I would buy a camera for its looks anyway. I buy a camera for the looks of the images it can capture.
Daniel Dougan point taken - though I actually like the look. :)
Brilliant again. Love your presentation
🙏🏻😊🖖🏻
I love the M bodies but health concerns make it impossible for me to justify getting an M body that doesn’t come with Ibis. The Q2 will be my 1st journey into the land of Leica. I love your videos it's like watching the IFC.
Sorry to learn of your health concerns. But enjoy the Q2 - wonderful camera!
My first lens for the TL2 is the Voigtlander Ultron 28/2!
Hugh, I feel the same way about my Porsche 911. Yes, I could have bought several Hyundas for the price but I love driving, so why would I?
Andrew Ward :)
Thanks Hugh, great vid as expected.
Simon Williams Thank YOU!
I very thoughtful review. Well done.
The Architect from the Matrix is a camera man and reviewer!
I love Leica build quality but it just never translates to the Digital M body, the M lens pricing is justified but the bodies are not unless they are Film!.
Wow this is incredible I'm very lucky I came across this. Subscribed
Welcome to the community!
I'd love a manual digital rangefinder that was affordable. I wish Zeiss and Sony would collaborate on a digital Ikon.
Carl Stawicki You know they are, right? And in the meantime there’s the almost rangefinder FujiFilm X-Pro2.
I wasn't aware. That's awesome news! I'm seriously considering the X-PRo2. I'm waiting to see if anything new is announced at Photokina.
No way to rationalize the ridiculous price. So it must contain magic. I wonder if these revered photographers would choose leica over other cameras if they were alive today?
You know that's a great question.
Please see my conversation with Elliott Erwitt - the link is in the show notes. Also check out the work of Mathieu Bitton.
Great videos and keep up the great work.
i have a huawei p20 pro...the leica camera on him....OH MY GOD.....no phone compares with it
Fantastic Review! Thank You. You have a new fan. Subscribed.
Benjamin Fargen Welcome!
Couldn't give a stuff about Leica but I love the shot at 3:23. Thanks for sharing.
I love the first one at 3:20
Shutter not quieter than the Q.
IN ANY CASE: thanks for contributing to the conversation!
it has a leaf shutter that is why
Niru yes!
Thanks for a sensitive and borderline sensible presentation.
dale gravatt 😈
always like your Videos...
My heart wants to own one but my brain ( and bank account ) forbids it 😁
Brother from another mother!
Are you related to Jeff Goldblum? You are very similar.
isn't this video over-saturated?
No: it is not properly white-balanced. Well, I should add: not on my 27" Retina 5K, but definitely on my 42" Panasonic flat panel TV using picture pre-sets. It looks fine (along with everything else like Netflix) when I trim the settings a touch.
Except the high price everything all have on it leica M10-P
Eloquent. Thank you
best of the best
🙏🏻
@@3BMEP tnx 4 the comment....i know leica...my phone is a triple leica camera
How can you do a supposed 'hands on' video and you don't even have the camera?
phototristan Ummm... I DO have the camera, and you see it beginning at 00:04.
360p? UA-cam Problem?
Taking their time. 4K as always!
i see.. ;-), i think your Color is slightly off too (in my eye), i bit to yellow-orange..
I think. I think I’d rather watch the real Jeff Goldblum do an actual review
Uhhhh!! Buy Sony, orrrrr (Moment of Silent) Buy Fuji, or hmmmmm Panasonic, why you critic Leica M? when it is not the same range of the other brands? Ohhh yes, use Smart Phone !!! (moment of silent)
Genius!!!!
Oh this that nigga fasho... subbbed 🤞🏽
