The N cars are not loosely based on Formula E, they are as close as AFX could get without a bespoke chassis. The color schemes meanwhile are 100% fantasy
Loosely based would suggest to me a body which is E-esque, with no features actually the same, and a color scheme that hints at real ones, Like the Super G ''F1s'' from back in the day, for example
@@thatslotcarguy I would? What do you mean?? It is clear that the N is meant to be a Gen 2 Formula E car as much as possible. If the chassis allowed more accuracy AFX would of done it, just as they have with the Saubers. With the massive Super G plus chassis of earlier times there was no attempt to be anything other than loose.
@@RacerX888 Me too. I wish I could be more like the owner of this channel, who seems to have no filter and loves everything - but that is not my nature.
I have the #1 and #2 AFX Cars , put 42 Traction Magnets.Installed Front and Rear Silicone Tires . Those cars fly around my 60’ Track.. 😊
Wow they stick to the track like crazy, I'm almost convinced to buy this track.
Man I’m loving the ho reviews and running tests great vid mate thanks🤟🤟
Had a real bad day, made me feel better, love the green too
Mate I'm glad this made you feel better bud
Turned down by another job, out of work for 6 months
I want that track but i don't think the wife is gonna like that price tag likely get a smaller one to start....i really like the 4 lanes though
So what slotcar had the best lap speeds? 🏁
None as I didn't have a lap counter
So do the regular formula cars outpace them on the track?
Same same, was a little hard to really tell without a timing system
Why the long chasis?
because, given the subject matter, the short chassis would of been the wrong choice. But then it is for almost all racing cars

Hence why I chose the words loosely, let's not get sued here lol

@@deanewalpole9577 you would think that lol

Why don’t they call them Formula E? That’s what they are. I’m happy with the ones I have.
Licensing I believe
I think a more appropriate name for these would be the "Speed Racer" cars. Sorry, but they look silly.
Each to their own then. Some think the full size FE cars are goofy.
@@deanewalpole9577 And I am one of those, which makes me like these even less. Cheers!

I like the old school Tomy cases. Not a fan of the look 👎
