This looks crazy good. Well done! If you had access to Cnc & Wire Cnc for your own projects in Germany, would abandon the 3d printed molds for the wings all together? How does the weight of the foam compare to laser cut sceletons?
Ramy was soll ich sagen?! LG Egon
You all should take this plane to base that houses this plane. Have it land on a runway and taxi up to a spot next to a real plane. I think the Air Force might even go for it because all the people on the base who work on/with this plane would probably get a real big kick out of it :) Charleston, SC has a big base of these planes.
That was stunning! The only comment I would make would be to drop the music level towards the end so the viewer gets to hear the raw sounds from the craft without the distraction of music. But other than that, excellant!

As a form C-17 build mechanic, watching your build is quite majestic. I truly love your creation. Wish it was that simple to build with Styrofoam. I've seen one made of balsa and given the Australian squadron marking. I think it has fuel motors and sound extraordinary. Even with your electric motors she sound good while flying. Great job in making all McDonnell/Douglas mechanics proud to have been fortunate to build on of the best airlifter.
This has to be very fulfilling in so many ways. Having the financial backing of a true enthusiast like TP gives you more freedom to use your creativity and skills. Another very cool project. I can't wait to see what's next.
You two sitting on the wing after first installation reminds me of the old days of flight when aircraft companies used to have engineering and manufacturing staff stand on the wings of a completed prototype to show the strength of their airframes. Awesome work folks.
I watched the whole build but this timelapse sure shows so much of it. It was an enormous amount of work from all of you guys. Also, it flies amazing, something to be very proud of. My total respect to you Ramy and the whole team involved!! Thank you 👍💪✌
I Love how it just floats to the groundon landing. It's just saying "I don't wanna stop playing yet dad." Another awe inspiring build. Can't get enough.
