This was a fascinating interview. To teach comedy at Harvard is the cherry on top of an impressive career. Anyone who knows a thing or two about comedy knows that many writers for Letterman, SNL, The Simpsons, etc came out of Harvard, including Conan O'Brien. It's cool to hear about Hugh's work with David Spade. I still miss his Comedy Central show, Lights Out with David Spade. Not sure why it went off, maybe it was tied to the pandemic.
Wow! Hugh Fink not only appeared on Dave's show four times, but he also knew Dave personally. It's almost like you were talking to one of Dave's closest friends. Hey! That's incredible. Okay. Hugh only talked to him on his radio show prior to the beginning of his late night career, and he didn't get a real chance to do his show until later on, but that still counts, right?
@@KungEMuller knew personally is probably a stretch, but it’s really neat how Hugh used to listen to, and interact with Dave’s radio show when he was a kid, and how it did come around later on in life.
Right on!
@@thenostalgicpodblast agreed!

@@thelettermanpodcast Yeah. It reminds me of this saying. What goes around comes around.
@@KungEMuller totally!
