      @ What is the first impression about this monitor? I have to choose between this one and Viewsonic VP2768. I'll use it for photo editing and not for gaming! Thanks

    •  3 роки тому +2

      @@juliankuranay6346 first of all I was shocked to see that the colors that I see on my monitor in Rec 709 I can see on all my devices and this is everything that I expected from this monitor, and this is also for photos in sRGB and if you put it in standard mode the colors are more than awesome. It's the best monitor I've ever worked on. If you're lookin' for a monitor to edit photos or videos this is the best in like medium budget. Only if you don't wanna spend 2,3k $ on a monitor, if you have, go for those :)) Good luck!

      278CV seems it is completely identical to this one except it has a usb c port + some differences on the stand? It goes for 120+ euros more in Europe.

    Wow a monitor that _finally_ just matches my 10 year old iMac 27"!? The one I am replacing.
    That money would go better towards buying a much higher resolution 2021 iMac M1.

    Hello Shawn Koh!
    I've recently purchased an Asus Proart PA278QV monitor, which has multiple presets like standard, srgb, and rec 709. I purchased this monitor mainly for photo editing. I noticed that the standard mode and srgb mode have totally different lighting conditions. Which mode should I use for photo editing for online content? Are all those modes calibrated? I don't have any color calibration tools.
    Thanks For Your Awesome Content.

    hi and thanks for your video. I create photographic projects that will be published online (not prints). In your opinion, what is the best preset with which I can then calibrate the monitor with the i1display pro? I work at 100c/m2 but I saw that the srgb preset does not allow you to vary the brightness. How can I reach that brightness during calibration? Thank you

    • @ShawnKoh
      @ShawnKoh  3 роки тому

      I think this monitor is abit too over spec-ed for what you're doing. It is more for video editors or graphic artists to get accurate colours.
      If you are watching movies and playing games, there are many other better monitors that you can buy for a lower price!

    Hi, I really hope you can help me with this Monitor. I am not sure what my problem is. The monitor keeps shutting off on me randomly and says HDMI signal lost. I have it connected to a 2015 MBP, a Keychron K2 keyboard, and Logitec Master Mouse 3. Its not a screen saver or anything like that, i don't think my HDMI port is loose, I can't figure it out. Any suggestions?

    • @ShawnKoh
      @ShawnKoh  3 роки тому

      Hey there Jeff,
      To be honest I'm not an expert when it comes to the internal components of a PC, but from what I can guess, it might be the HDMI cable or the graphics card input. Perhaps start by getting a new good quality Display/ HDMI cable.
