    This monitor is also the one i mostly recommend for people starting out in photography. I am also so glad you mentioned the 4k resolution part. Not many people actually touch on that. They see all that infinite opportunities but never think about the responsibility you mentioned starting out. You would need more power and capability to work with 4k. Color also works and behaves very differently from what I have noticed working with 4k.
    Full HD is more than enough for small studios.

    Hello Sir, what is a better approach to getting a monitor like ProArt PA247CV or getting a good monitor and a color adjuster like SpyderX/elite?

    I have a M2 MacBook Air. I want to connect 2 monitors to it: 1) a Dell S2722DC and 2) a Asus ProArt PA247CV. Can you please help me understand the best way to do it?

    Good day, sir. From which port do we connect the usb ports to the computer when using hdmi and display port? I don't have type c on my computer but it has usb 3.0. Do I need to connect it with an adapter like type c-usb to use the usb ports on the monitor? Thanks!

    Great video...Yeeee I stil geting confusion as amateur photographer I use Pro grade full frame cameras and lenses... but I still have confusion you mentioned about colours on monitor. I use Pro Art Asus PA329Q which come from Factory certified calibration.... And I still have confusion which setup of color to choose ... ok from monitor sRGB ... and from Mac monitor display menu ... there is long list.... sRGB IEC61966-2.1 ? Thank You

    2 minutes in and still dropping hints about what the video is about. It's in the title. Get to the point.

    Thank you. Very useful, particularly why Full HD is all that is required. Will this be compatible with a Mac mini?

    A light video that explained the purpose of monitor and why no need to go for expensive 2k or 4k ones. Could have shown the actual reproduction of colors at various modes with a picture from your laptop. (of course what I see may not be the actual one you see - errors from my monitor 😉
    I am on the fence to change my old LG IPS Flatron IPS236. Though very old, not an issue to use but spec says is it is only 80% sRGB. I shoot pictures of my family, our outings, birds, flowers etc. A EIZO 27" QHD proved too much for me and I ended with stinging eyes and returning it. Then I am wary of the clan called monitors.
    This monitor is one candidate. Another and easily available at a shop nearby in Abu Dhabi is PA248CRV that is a 24.1" 1920x1200p monitor. other than the extra 120 lines vertically does the 1200p add anything to the resolution? Theoretically no, since PPI is near the same as 23.8". If you have compared PA247Cv and PA248CRV do you have a feedback on the latter?

    1920 x 1200 is not too crappy for the mac?

    • @PIXELVIILAGE
      @PIXELVIILAGE  Рік тому +2

      Depends on the work you do. In fact, if you have a 4K monitor with bad content or not enough viewing distance will be more crappier than this! Just an opinion.

    So, which one is a better option? ProArt PA247CV or the PA248QV?

    • @futo
      @futo Рік тому

      I want to know too, the only difference I see is the PA247CV is 16:9 with 1920x1080 pixels whereas the PA248QV is a 16:10 ratio with 1920x1200 pixels

      @@cccuybixs Honestly, if I had no choice but to pick up 1920, I go for the 1920 x 1200 16:10 ratio, just because there are some work that would require more vertical screen real estate

    Pa247cv vs pa278qv what do you recommend sir?

    • @EvgenWho
      @EvgenWho 5 місяців тому

      pa278qv - 16:10, pa247cv - 16:9. Первый больше по высоте, он хорош для работы с графикой, я бы взял его. А так - они почти одинаковы, но второй вариант чуть новее и имеет USB C.

    Being a professional video editor working in movies, I would like to disagree. Asus Proart is a very good option for creators, but only in their top end models that costs a fortune. For just a little bit more than this model you can get the LG Ultrafine 4k display with 135% Rec709, 98% dcip and 70% Rec 2020 and VESA certified HDR600 with 600 nits of brightness for beginner HDR colour grading. LG makes their own Nano IPS panels which is the best in the industry just second to mini led and OLED panels. I would not recommend blue light filter or anti reflective coatings for professional grade photo/video editing as they vastly hinder the colour accuracy and contrast.

      Just get an Eizo so you can relax surely? When I'm editing I don't want to be paying for stupid prosumer features I'm never going to use.
