To me, A good photographer must have the ability to tell a story. And Sir, you have that in a great deal.
I’m not even a photographer I just want to hear this man speak and tell stories.
true. Like the Sadhguru of photography. I love his speaking pace
I found this video and your channel yesterday, after I had ordered this monitor. The monitor arrived today and for me (photo editing), it's spectacular. Just the right size and pixel density to use comfortably. This video was not only informative as to the monitor, but was a great introduction to color management. I enjoyed the story (and the lighting) at the beginning so much, that I watched the intro again. Great content and presentation. Thank you. (just subscribed)
I bought the ProArt 329C and came here to see some one talk about ProArt monitors. As a professional photographer myself, I got a big surprise to listen to a man express his passion for the art and help those who are interested to also embrace it. I love the way you use story telling to unveil the techniques involved. Its a long journey and and every aspect has a story to it. Thank you very much indeed for sharing a part of your story.
🙏🙏🙏
Amazing and interesting. Outstanding to see that people are still using the absolute finest in equipment, taking time and effort and passion to accomplish art.
This is a brilliant. In photography its always about the process. Only old timers will figure what your metaphor meant. Seeing where digital pace is moving i dont think anyone on youtube India is presenting what you said here. Kudos to your effort.
Merry Christmas! I enjoy every word and wouldn't think about skipping minutes and missing information.
Really happy to hear that Sir... Merry Christmas to you too 🎄🎅
I really appreciate the top quality videos you and the team are creating. Your voice and the way you structure the videos is incredible, very clear. Background music matches well also. Thank you
Came here for a review, and stayed for the story. This was incredible. You've got a sub from sir! Excellent review and overall approach. No flack here
🙏🙏🙏
You are an Ocean of Knowledge and Experience...Thanks to you and UA-cam so that we can learn these things from the comfort of our home...Highly appreciate your content..
Thank you for this great, entertaining, interesting, detailed, and professionally well explained review. You have a new subscriber! 😀
Your explanation style is really good, please don't stop this style. It is very important and thank you for your effort.
This was an awesome review. Thank you so much for a comprehensive breakdown. So refreshing to have someone who takes their time to walk through important concepts
🙏🙏🙏
I was window shopping for a monitor w/c I can use for graphic design work. This video helped me a lot, made me understand key things and it was wonderfully done. Kudos to you sir and your team! -New sub from PH. (Bought the monitor by the way and It's fantastic!)
Sir, I love the production quality of each of your videos ... It's top notch.
Wow, glad I found you, well impressed with the monitor and advice ... thank you 🙏🏼
This is my first time watching one of your videos. It is easy for me to see why you have so many subscribers. Well done!!
I loved this video. The audio and video quality, the lighting, even the color and decoration of the room where you tell the story are top notch. I also liked that you took the time to tell the story, which I found entertaining and I believe it helped to drive a point. This is my first time in this channel, but I'm sure it most definitively will not be my last one. Keep up the great work!!
Thank you friend... Appreciate your feedback. 🙏🙏🙏
This is the first video I watched from PIXED VILLAGE. Really good content, keep it up!
I really like your room setup for this video! While most youtuber aims for a sleek modern look, you try a warm and classic style, with a very good lighting technique. I'll use this as a reference for the future!
This is on my to buy list now. Thanks for the excellent review.
How wonderful. I just got the ProArt Pa248qv, smaller monitor that fits the space available and I am still learning about it. But you reminded me of my first camera - A Kodak Brownie Holiday. And my first monitor. I think it may have been as large as 12" and had all the colors you could want.... as long a they were amber and black. We've come a long way. Thanks for your help in the journey.
This is eye opening and motivational. I will focus more on the details going forward, thank you mentor.
Awesome Detailed Review. Buying straight away from your affiliate link. Thank you. 😊
Let me Rahda, this is the first time I've ever seen one of your videos and I just want to let you know, what a delight it was watching, definitley on another spectrum when it comes to online form of video content, best enjoyed with a fine wine (Im working class dont judge) but man, did this make me feel sophisticated, not only that, I also ordered a Asus Proart in my research of my next monitor because of it, what a legend you are!
Happy to receive this comment. Thank you... 🙏
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I shooting and scanning 8X10 film in my youth and later gave color management seminars for Apple computers. This monitor is not for me, but I loved the intro. I started shooting color film at age 12 in 1981 and was an early adopter of digital at age 23. I started with Photoshop 2.5 & an 18,000 dollar, 3.24 megapixel Kodak camera around 1991. A lack of understanding of color management was a big issue early on in the transition to digital and amazingly many of the issues are still prevalent today. I was the Tech Editor of the Universal Digital Imaging Guidelines which established digital color standards for the photography industry. The guidelines have been updated and reposted as ASMP's Digital Photography Guide. This guide will help your viewers learn about color management, settings for profiling monitors, print processes, etc.
Appreciate your long comment. Glad you liked the intro. Would love to interact with you on email. Could you please give me your mail ID? My mail ID is radha@pixelviilage.com. Thank you... 🙏👍
What other monitors do you recommend at this price point? Thank you.
Your voice and storytelling skills are everything. I loved watching this. 🙂
This is so great, thank you!
As always, Another Very Informative Video.
Wow. You are such a good storyteller. Loved the video. And lighting
Love this, great job!
Clicked this video to see the monitor, Stayed to just listen to your voice. Great video. My current monitor is dull which causes me to over compensate with saturation and makes my images look over-processed on other devices. For $300 USD, I would be crazy to not get it.
Excellent editing work and video colors, thank u
You know you shan’t listen to the naysayers. Good Ol fashion storytelling is an art which is missing from most of today’s video content. I found this both entertaining and informative. Thank you!
Your usage of colors are tremendously amazing & so comfortable for eyes !

I appreciate that you spell colour correctly :)
simply amazing story , presentation and review. Bought one ...
Appreciate the review. Thanks
Amazing sir, thank you so much ❤️
Your Explanation Is Amazing..... ❤️
A transition from absolutely pleasure to hear voice to terrible pain to ear background score
Dear Sir, After watching this video I have upgraded & switched from Viewsonic 24 inch to this option, yet a little bit of addon hard work few hours to recover it...But still hoping for the best. Thanks once again & please keep on uploading the different perspective to view the things in a great & positive manner...
Beautiful and inspiring story ♥️
I attended your workshop last year at Thiruvananthapuram and you had a metaphor each for the topics discussed on the day long session. Loved all of it and those are still stays fresh in my mind. But that was during a face-to-face interaction, things might be a little different in the digital medium.
Thanku you so much and Marry Christmas
Amazing content saw a couple of video after amey bhai's post on FB subbed
Man loves this voice. Like a storryteller. Could listen all day. Great video
🙏
🙏
Well I like the way u narrate your story ... Keep going with this presentation rather than should out like a market vendor!! U got talent 👍🏻💫
Hi another great video. Great story too. I find the music in the background distracting and competes with your commentary though. Thanks again.
It is great listen about Robert Polidori and his work from you. Thank you.
Sir, thank you for describing it with a story.
Spectacula presentation sir.. Genius.! Great sir....
Love ❤️ from Kerala Sir.
Proud to be a Malayali...
You keep telling your story!👏👏👏
I mean who are these people who don't like stories. This content is so much better than someone just blurting out the specs.
Love ur content sir ☺
Is the pa279cv too overkill for light editing, media consumption and reading? I need this for the USB c hub
this was purely captivating
Thank you. A quick question did you connect it with a display port or Hmdi?
Hello Pixel Village!
I've recently purchased an Asus Proart PA278QV monitor, which has multiple presets like standard, srgb, and rec 709. I purchased this monitor mainly for photo editing. I noticed that the standard mode and srgb mode have totally different lighting conditions. Which mode should I use for photo editing for online content? Are all those modes calibrated? I don't have any color calibration tools.
Thanks For Your Awesome Content.
Merry Christmas 🎉🎄
Please make a video on how to use natural light in day to day shoot ❤️🔥
how does it compare with the dell ultrasharp series?
Please do a comparison with the Dell 2418D which also have similar specs and similarly priced. Will it be worth from upgrading to this monitor if I already have that one.
Great video sir😃
Thank your for your suggestion. really help full .
What about Dell S2721H Monitor ? Is this good for photo editing ?
Great Video! I learned analog photography and have basically been stumbling though the digital age and have actually managed to have my work published in several now dead surf magazines. I want to start fresh and learn how to produce accurate color because like you said without color calibration what you see is not what you get. I want to be able to produce repeatable accurate results so I just purchased the 24” version of this monitor and a Mac Mini with the M1 chip. A video showing how to use photoshop color profiles with that monitor would be fantastic I think. The story/ background was fantastic, subbed, liked, and thank you from California!
Really happy to hear that. And thank you for the Sub and your feedback. Will try to create a video on that subject soon 👍🙏
@Ira Amerson - thanks for your note and glad to know yout journey.
I see that you've got yourself a Mac M1 Mini, how is your experience so far? How do you connect to this monitor? Thunderbolt 3 connection is better?
@@BhaskarNatarajan8055 Thank you! I am connected with HDMI. Should I use the other included cable? Coming from being an older MacBook user I am happy so far. I have the 24in version of the ProArt monitor and so far it is amazing! As far as the Thunderbolt 3(USB C?) port connection goes, I am ignorant as to how previous iterations worked so I can't provide you any valuable feedback. I tried connecting a brand new WD hdd with the included USB C cable which I assumed was Thunderbolt compatible without success. Absolutely nothing happened when connected that way. with the supplied to dongle to the large USB the HDD worked just fine albeit slow.
hello and thanks for your video. I am a photographer and I have this monitor. I create photographic projects that will be published online (not prints). In your opinion, what is the best preset with which I can then calibrate the monitor with the i1display pro? Thank you
Hello, what would be the next step up from this monitor? Maybe the medium range for professionals? Thank you for the good video!
Very nice lighting....
Well explained 👍
Happy Christmas 🎄 sir
Thanks man
For anyone wondering, the song in the background is ' Cercles Nouvelles - New Passion '. Wonderful music!
Belated happy christmas sir
Question: Is that a way to access the functions that are on the buttons on the bottom bezel from software I can access with a keyboard and mouse?
Radhakrishnan sir What Happened to the Panasonic LUMIX S5 Video? Why did u delete the Premiere Video in UA-cam?
I want this man to tell me bedtime stories. He reminds me of my late grandfather 😭 That aside, thank you for reviewing this. I was torn between this and the benQ PD2700U.
Which one did you chose? :) I'm on the same situation and I think I will choose Asus :)
I've always enjoyed your explanations. Not everyone can drink coffee
😀🙏👍
This model is stock out on Amazon. There is the PA248CV model. is it worth buying?
Hi, I have the PA248QV monitor, I don't know why but my one seems a bit yellow and its colours are totally different compare to my MacBook Pro Screen. Do you know how to adjust back the white balance for the monitor and can you share me your monitor setting number to adjust with. Thanks a lot !
May I know which camera and lens you are using to record this video
Do you really need 10 bit monitor for photo editing , or 8 bit monitor also works,
Is this Msi z590 pro better and future proof than asus proart z490 for 3d modeling and rendring work in i9 10900k cpu????
Merry Christmas Sir 🎄🎅⛄ , Sir I have just stepped into this wonderful art of photography and freaking out with my mobile camera inspired by your mobile photography videos " Shoot like a Pro " , so Sir I want to know that like monitors and cameras is calibration possible in mobile ?? Btw love your videos Sir 😍
Sir, this monitor doesn't actually show what amount of Adobe RGB color it can display, any basic monitior can give 100% sRGB. Asus hides it on their page as well for this model. I read somewhere it can give only 70% Adobe RGB
I heard 80%
@@Mope333 80% is very low number for a monitor at this cost
Anyone can here recommend a good monitor please?
Merry Christmas 🌲🌲⛄🌲⛄🌲🌲⛄⛄🌲🌲
Can you please suggest a monitor for Coders, need to write/read code in text editors in split screens with MacBook Pro, any pointers will be really helpful Sir
OK one question. What's the point of using colour accurate monitor when everyone else is using a bad color graded monitors? Like at your end the colours would be perfect but at user end the colour will still look bad.
That was an amazing introduction to the video, I would gladly listen to more of these stories
sir, can you please suggest me between asus PA278QV , benq sw240 and benq PD2500q.
ASUS ProArt PA278QV What technology is this IPS display? Is it edge lighting or backlit LED?
+1 uncle. I sub to your channel. stay safe!
This channel deserves atleast 5 million subscribers,
who all are agreed... Hit like
🙏
The colors look great. However, the whitebalance seems to be too warm at 6500K. Is this normal?
hey guys ... My monitor is getting kinda hot, mostly above Asus logo (mid screen bottom), near power connector.
So I was wondering is that normal for this monitor ? Or do I have faulty monitor ? please help
Loved the presentation including the prolog. Have a question though why is the 32 “ version is almost 3 times the cost ?
Yes. If you are into serious Stills/Video post production, then that's the Monitor to go for. Go for the 4K one.
Thank you for your comment 👍😊
