I binged the entire 3 seasons in a couple of nights as I didn't want to leave Scotts world.....cast was superb....especially Nicholas Cassim as his brother.......best Aussie series. EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With producers trying to squeeze out every last penny, so many shows are ridden into the ground. It's refreshing to see a creator willing to bow out while still at the top of their game.
I watched all three series in 1 week, I'm gutted it's finished but also love the conclusion - it finished at the perfect time which is the sign of a great show.
If you've not seen this, I cannot recommend it too highly. The best bit of televisual work to ever come out of Australia, and that's quite a tall bar of recent years. It's also hilarious in places, tear jerking in others. Bloody brilliant is what it is and whomever cast the actors should get an award for that alone. The dialogue is also spot on and a lot more realistic that the usual TV fayre. You'll not be disappointed (says the crazy nobody on the Interweb that thinks everyone should trust his word 😀😀). Though on this one topic, you really should trust the above...

Very few artists and/or production companies have the discipline, care for the audience or virtue to not cash in on an extension of contract. Rather keeping the storyline honest and impactful. Even gifting the audience with an encore season that equaled the previous two. Respect.
Is there anyone that could convince scott Ryan to do a few more seasons ? I'm from UK and I've just smashed the entire show in a few days. Its absolutely up there with any of the big shows like breaking bad etc . The whole cast were brilliant . Hope I get to see more of Scott somewhere..... what an actor
I was late to the party with this series but my wife and I loved it from episode 1. So brilliantly written and acted. Now, I'm not a man who gets emotional at tv programmes but, the scenes with his brother, especially the end of series 2, really got to me like nothing has before
this is absolutely flawless TV. there isn't a single episode or character within the 3 seasons that disappoints. honestly one of the best shows I've ever watched, and whilst I would love more seasons, the way the characters develop and the story comes to an end is just about perfect. there's so much humour but man, do those few emotional episodes pack a punch!! the penultimate episode was incredibly powerful, and then the whole series ends with a single shot that perfectly sums up everything you've loved so far!

What's killing me is that most of the background on these characters will stay unknown/unwritten, I would've loved to learn more about Ray's past or Ray and Gary friendship starting point for example
