The F100A was an earlier design of the F100 Super Sabre, but killed one of North American's most prolific test pilots and North American found a fatal flaw in the vertical stabiliser which was that it was much too small and provided little directional stabibility, leading to fatal stalls and horrific low speed handling. The update of the F100D came with a slightly better engine, an enlarged vertical stabiliser and better avionics. The F100A was sold to other countries before the problem was identified and I am honestly not sure if they updated the exports or let the pilots die.
RAAFLightningII Yep. It was visually different as well due to the larger tail. Gaijin hasn’t implemented the correct visual model. I really dislike most UA-camrs for saying its copy paste. Its not, its a different plane altogether. This is the same as saying Bf 109 G2 and G10 are the same plane.....
@@kamata93 the tawainese modified their f-100a’s by adding the d stabilizer.
As long as bvr makes gaijin money, they will implement it asap.

Mine wasn't invisible, a couple days ago I was fighting an fga 9 and a missile strayed away like it lost lock and then made a 90 degree turn after it passed by and got me

They just announced missiles beyond visual.range and they still haven't fix the problem @1:20
is not only the missile. Something when doing scissors. You get killed when the enemy nose is not even pointing at you. The problem are the server. And i don't think gaijin will ever fix them.
Yeah I've seen that one too.... Tho that one I think it's a connection issue... The missiles are a server issue for sure.

F100A and French F100D can't face top tier.
This is a very early F-100 wish the jet did the “Sabre Dance”
The US F-100D has no business fighting all the 9.7s and below because it has AIM-9E. Meanwhile, the Lightning F.6 and Hunter FGA.9 terrorizing the 9.7s and below with their Red Top and AIM-9E is fair and balanced comrade.
French F100D is on 9.7

Going too fast to have full control of the flight surfaces. Means you lose control of the plane sometimes. This is how people pancake into the ground.
Imo rhe F-100 shouldnt face something lije the g.91s (not YS) ... i hat when i play my G.91R/3 and in the enemy team are super mysteres f-100s and lightnings .... it is so unbalanced

It's not just invisible missiles. Naval has invisible torpedos too. Been a problem for a long time. Another problem in naval is the AI get stuck on the same islands all the time and your team ends up losing the game because of it. Still hasn't been addressed. Really annoying.
what do you think about f100D fighting against migs 21, f4s and starfighters on 10.0? Should supersabre be at 9.7?
Yes. And no. Aim-9es are the only arguement against it going to 9.7. They'd be a bit broken against many aircraft at that BR.
"it's not top priority, they're not fixing it" nothing to them is a priority except making money without actually making it enjoyable for the players
That's why Im hoping them getting more reports on it will bring it to the top of the list....

Whooptie the intro is nothing, console players are left defenseless after “missile launched” has been removed, it is impossibly to defensively keyboard fly and doge missiles do to the lack of key binds.
You mean you're using a keyboard and can't bind controls?
WhooptieDo no I’m saying there is not enough buttons on a controller to bind controls to ailerons and rudder and elevator. So we can only fly with joystick mouse aim. And now that we don’t get a missile lock warning it is super hard to know we’re a missile is on console.
Uh I’m in controller and I can Defensive fly just fine but I still get invisible missile so it doesn’t matter
Mrshamrock yes you can but it’s much harder, and ide like to know what your keybinds are for elevator rudder ailerons and free look. Then compare those to just pressing 4 keys
@@mr.triangle7626 i play on ps4 and have absolutely no problems ,i use free aim when flying and if i see a missile i'll simply turn, been playing wt on ps4 for the past 5 years and 1 year on xbox and never had this problem you're talking about, dodging missiles is super easy so long as you have a working pair of eyeballs

@@WhooptieDo technically, it's not even being used by China. It's being used by Taiwan, which is independent from China (same with the F-104A and F-104G in the chinese tech tree)

Nope, a few differences, overall you can fly it the same though.... just don't expect to win slow speed fights
