To anyone now nervous of flying, staff are trained for every situation it’s unbelievable, focus on how staff are so calm because they know they’ll be okay, it’s more dangerous to be in a car than on a plane and bad stuff with planes barely ever happens, right now there’s over 1 million planes in the sky :)
During my training we did a full simulation where all engines and hydraulics had failed, and the passengers were all civilian volunteers. The whole experience felt so real that I cried a little in the bathroom after training 😅

@@ok-pv1iz think of it as being somewhat similar to a soldier or something.... Would u consider being a doctor (not in aspects of subjects but I'm talking about the risk) in a war or something? Try to first imagine yourself in a very real situation where everyone around you is panicking and u are responsible for their safety, if u think u can sacrifice enough for passengers and can take the intense load, also shifts with unusual timings, can handle staying away from ur loved ones and friends for idk how much time, (also crew members might change often) ...if u are willing to handle these, then u might want to join it. I mean... U should be confident, and although it's rare, u should be looking at both sides as just thinking positive that all your flights would land safely isn't really helpful (i hope they do though) ... Also it would mean that u won't like to take the risk and responsibilities in a hard situation. If u are patient, witty in certain situations, passengers' safety is ur priority, then i guess u should go for it. Be brave enough. It should be a really respectable job if u think about it and it takes some qualities to earn it :) Good luck🍭

Training is very severe, but let me tell you, it does prepare you for the worst that could happen. About 2 years ago, I had to unfortunately be in a situation like this, however, luckily all of our crew members were well-trained. Everyone evacuated safely and I couldn’t be more grateful.

This video is really well made. The only thing is that an emergency will NEVER be this organized. People sitting in their seats until the captain calls evacuate? LOL no. people will be trampling over seats over you, your ABPs will probably run immediately to open the doors even if you are still able to do it. This is definitely how the cabin crew will act, but not the passengers.

"Senior cabin crew cabin member report to the flight deck immediately" and all crew just disappear out of the cabin... enough to panic passengers already. Takes a while before anyone actually re-assures the passengers.... luckily passengers are very calm and no-one screaming ;-)
Is it just me that travels often (before covid) and has flying anxiety, but still binge watches flight attendant training and freaks out for the next time i travel?
No need to worry for flying, the planes are now high tech planes. The planes have been improved and before every flight, Pilot and Mechanics, same as Flight Attendants checks everything before a flight. Including fuels, if engine is broken, broken seats and more. So stop worrying about the flights! :D

Don’t be scared of a plane! It’s more dangerous to be in a car! And my dad works with planes and he has ride about 30-20-40planes :) and he hasn’t been in a plane crash so don’t be scared if you are scared you can talk to me if you need me I’ll be here :D

What's incredible is when you look at after accident reports, the vast majority of crews are this calm and professional in real and stressful situations. It really frustrates me when I'm flying and see people ignoring the safety briefing or watch videos of evacuations where passengers keep shoes on or take belongings with them. It's really simple. The people giving you instructions have been trained to a VERY high standard. They are not just your personal waiter or butler. They're the reason deaths from air accidents continue to decrease. They're the reason you don't get burned alive when the plane catches fire after landing. They're the reason your friend or family member survived a heart attack whilst on board. Obviously it's difficult in a real life situation, but if everyone just remained calm, left their belongings and listened, even more lives could be saved.
If i was working on this plane; Me: *OMG WE ARE ALL GONNA DIE EVERYONE PRAY AND SAY YOUR LAST WORDS* Other cabin crew: **jumps out of the plane** ‘i cant work with this guy’

"Senior cabin crew cabin member report to the flight deck immediately" and all crew just disappear out of the cabin... enough to panic passengers already. Takes a while before anyone actually re-assures the passengers.... luckily passengers are very calm and no-one screaming ;-)

Is it just me that travels often (before covid) and has flying anxiety, but still binge watches flight attendant training and freaks out for the next time i travel?
No need to worry for flying, the planes are now high tech planes. The planes have been improved and before every flight, Pilot and Mechanics, same as Flight Attendants checks everything before a flight. Including fuels, if engine is broken, broken seats and more. So stop worrying about the flights! :D

Don’t be scared of a plane! It’s more dangerous to be in a car! And my dad works with planes and he has ride about 30-20-40planes :) and he hasn’t been in a plane crash so don’t be scared if you are scared you can talk to me if you need me I’ll be here :D

What's incredible is when you look at after accident reports, the vast majority of crews are this calm and professional in real and stressful situations.
It really frustrates me when I'm flying and see people ignoring the safety briefing or watch videos of evacuations where passengers keep shoes on or take belongings with them. It's really simple. The people giving you instructions have been trained to a VERY high standard. They are not just your personal waiter or butler. They're the reason deaths from air accidents continue to decrease. They're the reason you don't get burned alive when the plane catches fire after landing. They're the reason your friend or family member survived a heart attack whilst on board.
Obviously it's difficult in a real life situation, but if everyone just remained calm, left their belongings and listened, even more lives could be saved.
