@@miaipad8989 Not in every case. These safety measures aren’t only taken when the plane crashes 🗿 What if a pregnant woman went into labour? And the flight attendants are helping her? Is that also for “show”?

They deserve much more appreciation and recognition from world.

The flight attendants were quick and efficient they did a CPR and then I heard they made the call for a doctor exactly how this video shows. The training pays off well. Good job Emirates my favorite airline.
This brings back memories. I was a flight attendant for Pan Am from 1977-1991 when they closed. I went to Northwest which became Delta 1991-2006 . When I started the world was different, security wasn't as strict, people still dressed appropriately. Emirates and other international carriers still have what I would remember to be old fashioned ways and that is a great way to be! That's one big reason you rarely hear of an international carrier going out of business. What a beautiful college, Emirates!
Hello. I served 29yrs as a flight attendant. Our training facility was nice, but nothing like yours. If If I was starting my career today as a flight attendant I would definitely chose an international carrier. Good Luck with everything.
People will see this as a “fun” way of training but boy let me tell you how stressful those training period are especially for the Initial Crew (those who have no prior experience as cabin crew) 😭 Easily the hardest 3 months of my life, even harder than my under grades lmao. I still can’t believe I’m able to crammed 1400 pages worth of knowledges (in english, not my tongue mind you!) in those times and managed to succeed lol Good luck for anyone who wants to be a cabin crew! See you on board someday soon!
I can definitely relate to this :) I was a cabin crew for 1 year and the training course was the hardest part of the journey. The amount of studying can be overwhelming and the time at your disposal is very limited!
It’s interesting to see behind the scenes of this facility, as I’ve drove past the facility in Dubai. In my opinion, flight attendants are underrated and training is rigorous.
As someone who wants to be a flight attendant and whose final goal is working in emirates, seeing 2 flight attendants from Brazil just made it so much more personal. Great video, thank you.
Boa sorte!!! Estou torcendo por você!
Cabin crew are so underated when you think of what they have to learn. At the end of the day they are primarily there for your saftey. Serving you food and drink is extra. Some people would do well to remember that because they would be the first ones screaming for help, if god forbid, any thing should happen. It amazes me how many people don't pay attention to the safety videos too. I actually got thanked by one cabin crew member for paying attention to a manual demonstration once when no one else did.
18:30, just imagine that: all the way from central asian countries (Uzbekistan, Kyrgizstan) to north and south america (Mexico, Brasil) in the middle east (and that's aside from many other nationalities that work in Emirate). different cultures, backgrounds and languages melted in the aviation industry pot.. by the way when Sam asks about their countries of origin that shows respect and interest. people love it actually. Just flew back last week from Dubai to Toronto via Emirates. Crew was amazing, service delivery was excellent. Glad to watch how hard they put their efforts to train themselves and how much emirates is focused on customer centric services.
So interesting how they do their training! Even though air travel is super safe I love to see that airlines take the time and courage to train the crew just in case.
Impressive! When I did CPR training a few years ago, the instructor told me that the heart massage part is more important than breathing in because the victim still has oxygen inside their blood. But without heart massage, the oxygen will not be transported throughout the body.
One of the best crew training in the world especially when it comes to safety and security..Thanks you so much SAM for sharing with us this good experience you had
Very interesting insight into the extensive training that Emirates cabin crew need to undertake. Incredible how many skillsets the cabin crew need to master. Most passengers take all this for granted when travelling on Emirates. Although considered by many to be glamorous it is actually a very tough job. All credit to the Emirates cabin crew and to Sam Chui for making this great VDO. 👍👍✈🛩

Thank you for showing this place in this video, I’ve been here before and this place is underrated but also FUN! You should definitely tour this place some time. I would recommend the food!
This is one of my favorite Sam Chui video, because it shows a different side of aviation that the average person never sees. I love the way he participated in the Emirates training program as one of the passengers, then gave them encouragement as they were about to graduate.

This is brilliant. I feel like I am taking some of this away with me. Flight attendants are underrated and have so much responsibility. I will say that about 3 years ago when I was flying on a Qantas aircraft the captain made an announcement mid flight asking for any doctors, medical personnel or nurses that might on board asking board if anyone could provide some assistance as there was a child that was having breathing difficulties. Myself (Nurse) and another nurse came forward to help the crew. Very eye-opening and all the adrenaline takes over in the moment. This happened on a Qantas aircraft travelling from Sydney to Lax back in 2017. The child's outcome was fine, we managed to remove the child to an open exit area where the child was able to gain more open space and airflow & from sponging the child down her temperature reduced slightly. At the time the mother was travelling with the unwell child and because the child was in a small space being in the window seat she could not get enough air between coughing fits. It can be confronting but it would surprise you that sometimes even though there may be a doctor on board they have the right to refuse to give treatment. The crew were really good and appreciated the help that we were able to provide with a good outcome. Appreciation for this video, very informative to see from a passenger’s perspective of what the intensity of what flight crew have to go through before even being allowed to work on any of the Emirates aircraft. The Emirates training centre is amazing.
