I miss my 88 Si soooo much, best car I ever owned. It was canary yellow. Best shifter. Took curves amazingly. A lady pulled out in front of me and it was totaled in 96.
sorry to hear mate i’ve had mine a little over a year and i love her as a classic somebody put nails in three of my tires and i hydroplaned just the driver side into the rear end of somebody but managed to save her with minimal damage she runs and drives today and i just can’t imagine getting rid of it hope you find another near you for a good price
I had a white 89 Prelude SI from brand New, best car I ever owned. The 4WS was a cool feature, I wish it was still on cars sooner than all the electronic Gizmo's I don't need.
I’ve just bought a 2nd Gen 1984 1.8EX with an astonishing 2280 miles from new on the clock. Despite being in storage for 39 years it only needed a service, a full brake overhaul and a rear exhaust section. Will have a full MOT next week then I intend to enjoy it on the road. Enjoyed your informed review and your presentation style.
These are gorgeous I can't believe I forgot about these. Last time I seen one was about 15 years ago
Yes they are a rare sight these days - only adds to the appeal now!
These Honda's were so nice
I have had 3 of these cars and still own a 1988 2.0 16V 4WS. Great cars and mine still makes me smile every time I get into it
Great to hear, wishing you many happy miles in yours!
@@shootingbrake the video and images on the advert led me to sourcing some rare 3rd Gen parts, which are soon to be added to my car
I remember my friend borrowing his Dads white Prelude in 1988, we would go out clubbing in it and I was always amazed how good it was.
Must have felt very ahead of its time in period!
@@shootingbrake Yes it really did, his mum had a MK3 escort ghia and that felt ancient in comparison,
