- Here is my first really big project.(before I build my real dune buggy)
Its a custom build twin engine monster truck, totally made from the highest quality 7075 aluminum. powered by two XTM 24-7 pro engines (over 2,5 hp each). The acceleration is sick as you can see in this video. I built it 2003-2004 when I was 16 years old. Total cost 30 000 SEK or $4000
i cant believe i found this video after almost 10 years.. damn time flies
@UrbanWizard
Yes it does
Even today, this truck is a stand out over every other custom twin engine (or production twin) ive ever seen. Absolutely awsome.
sweet as can be but no control over power equals no fun
this guy is a mechanical genius this truck and that buggy are amazing machines and the fact he custom built them himself is even better
Could do with a wheelie bar lol
This truck is amazing, seriously. Look at when it was built.. Look at what Kyosho and Ofnas efforts were like when they tried two engines?? For how old this truck is, it shows how well built it was. Check out his other videos, when you see what else he built, you see why this thing was so awsome!
Proper old school build video with no 'please like and subscribe' rubbish 👌
Agree.
yup before youtube paid any money so people didnt bother lol
im one of the 2.5 million+ viewers who have watched this more than 10 times, best vid ever!!
same bro like i wish i knew dis kid in person everytime im searchin for anything rc related i wach dis video this vid motivated me to get into rc car/trucks 4 years ago im 17 now and own 2 1/9 gas racing truggy's 2 1/5 completly custom built and a couple really nice electic ones including 1/10 traxxas e revo and traxxas stampede vxl this kid is bad ass i got total respect for him
its takes the mind of a customer 2 build somethen like this and then companies catch cuz they c what people want. real nice rc build and video
Haha, I searched this video many years. I founded it, I lost it and now this "old" build found again. Nice
so far ahead of its time... the upgraded bulks and diffs from standard tmaxx size, skid into bumper design, A NITRO CENTER DIFF that works with not just 1 but 2 engines!! custom chassis, arms and knuckles, I can just keep going lol. really amazing for its time! obviously you have ties with or are a machinist. May I ask for anymore info if possible please (contact info or machinist name) and what is the chassis and bulks based off?
keep that engineering spark alive, it runs through my veins... put your engineering mind into use
So THAT'S why the price of aluminum went up! Nice truck, dude!
16 yrs. old? youre one skilled dude! very good job! one sick ass machine! tuned quite well! nice to see your not afraid to bash it!
i have never seen wheelies in that kind of ground man..lots of power!!
Im glad to see that you actualy use your high $ project.....to many people build em just to be a shelf queen....
You tuned that truck kick ass good job dude!
wow, imagine all of the work, very well done, looks very professional. Must burn a ton of fuel!
love how it can still wheelie in the dirt.....craziness!
That's just crazy powerful..With that much power maybe put a small bar(wheelie bar) in the back to keep the front from coming up too high. Nice truck, nice job.
The intro music made me throw up in my mouf a bit...
Awesome RC truck.
That monster need a wheelie bar.
That's an awesome piece of work. Lovely machine
Pretty impressive !!
L0L,when da shell came off, dude dats a badass 1 right there!!!!
i dont know what everyone else is thinkin, racing means wheely's are bad, bashing means wheely's are sick, nice rig man looks like its a handful
Nice truck! Everyone keeps sayin "wheelie bar" for this truck. You don't need one. First, he was probably poppin wheelies to show everyone how powerful it is and went balls out to prove that. I'm sure he doesn't drive like that if he wasn't recording it. Secondly, it's all about throttle control. Wheelie bars slow you down and can snag on things like weeds, roots in the ground, and small sticks on the ground. If it was an on-road vehicle, then wheelie bars do well, but not off-road vehicles.
Nice truck! I have the 3 engine Tmaxx on here and its nice to see I'm not the only one dealing with idiotic comments. Keep it up, the people who know what it takes to build stuff like that, appreciate it!
the Torque is crazy! great truck, is it still running, do you still have it?
hes smart enough to make a dual custom engine truck so i think he can drive, just seems the gear ratio is mental
Weigh down the front so it doesn't constantly flip. Awesome truck
really cool job and nice creativity and craftsmanship rigging that up... it probably has a ton of power but i bet it weighs a lot
I think you need a wheelie bar! Excellent!
you got more guts than i do putting all that work in to somthing like that i would "baby it " until i can afford a new one lol
good job with the full alloy, with the abuse you give it, it needs it awesome truck
Damn that must be fast cuz it does wheelies full throttle!!
this thing has mad power...i wanna do something like this actually
Major power band !!! crazy!! nice RC man
That thing is a beast!!
makes me miss my old T Maxx with a .21 ci conversion :(
she got some power there. nice r/c.
that's some serious acceleration
Man I love that song! Downfall is always a good song for such intensity!!
great job the only problem is the wheel base being short, hence the wheelies. I bet though if you could get the front to stay down it really gets up and goes. Imagine this on a street car? WOW!
You should install the traction control ! LOL Good job man !
the power is incredible
wheelie bar!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it'll make more fun to drive!!! good video nice project. 5 stars
some serious torque there !!
4000 isn't that bad for that monster, great job man!
This vid inspired me lol, i bought a cheap truck and used the back and front wheel assembly off it and the center spur, and im currently in the process of making the final chassis for it with the twin engine attachments, its gonna be sick. good job on this truck though!
Nice work. That's a good bit of craftmanship, though might I suggest a 2 wheel wheelie bar to help prevent things like tearing the body off and such.
I'm sure it's great fun, though personally I prefer realistic models, and that seems a little over powered for my taste, maybe even for it's own good too, but who am I to say?
As I said before, good job.
I like that car , how dear you drive with it ,it freaks me out if I would drive with it . But the bad part of it is wheelies all the time (Y) keep going
add some weights on the front end, that would probably help. awsome build dude!
you are killing this carrr!!!!!!!!!
Nice build. Looks like a beast. A wheelie bar is a pretty good option. Is it 2 wheel drive? If so, is there any way you could convert it to 4 wheel drive to get some power down at the front wheels, Bit more control and less likely to flip?
I want one of these for Christmas.
Insane!! Friggin' mad chill bro!!
Really nice truck, and u made it all aluminum. Great project and you did really well on it. Wanna build me 1? lol
i cant believe you spent 4 grand building this haha what 16 year old kid has that kinda money thats awesome haha i want to build one
Nice thing that you made there, I just bought me a pre-made one, a Earthquake 3.5 by redcat racing; I would love to turn it into a twin engine however I'm a novice still, lol
HOLY Crap that got some torque
Loving the featured model, im working on one myself. :)
omg nice truck dude like it nice work with the dubble engine but 1 tip but some little wait on the front that wil keept the truck from taking a weely
i wanted to cry when it fliped over with out the lid on lol so much aluminum so many dings
Over 5 horsepower.. That's more than a lot of mini bikes like the Honda XR50s, hell that's like 1/20th of a civic right there
The words "let's do something stupid" keep coming to mind when I see this kind of stuff. Seriously, when your RC car or truck tries become an airplane you need to dial it back.
Hell that is a BEAST!!! how much fuel does it use?
that truck you got there makes mine look like shit, that truck is bad ass!
Man good job with that thing. Shes a one of a kind Beast!!! I agree with that other comment. More weight in the front so you can open her up. Whats the max speed for Her?
now thats some RC stuff!
Thats sweet dude
i wanna see that beast over other rc cars :D
wheelie bar for sure and this is pretty sick you should take your design over to losi or traxxas and maybey hpi im sure they wouldbe interested
There goes the shiny new cooling heads.
5 stars, just awesome.
class truck but wont last long the way u drive id say! nice build!
Get some wheelie bars on the back dude! That'll save a lot of repairing
THAT WAS SO FUN TO WATCH 10/10
Dude....AWESOME!!!!...I want one...
Did i say it wasn't ?
Very powerful, heaps of torque. Love it !
It would lose against any brushless motor and ESC setup on almost every track.
Cool fun, but wont win a race. BooHoo.
this truck does not only look amazing.. its fucking fast also
dat is awesome
that things got some torque
That thing is beautiful.
Nice one! I was thinking of that too but then I gave up :P Seems like you need a wheelie bar ^ ^
wow shit!! its so powerfull man. i've never seen one like it
awesome bit of kit man, well done for building it, do you know what the top speed of it is??
That thing is awsome hehe, but you should get a wheelie bar :)
ILL KEEP THIS FEEDBACK SIMPLE.................. MATE YOU HAVE GOOD TASTE AND LIKE YOUR STYLE. YOU DID SUCH A TOP JOB ON YOUR TRUCK IM ENVIOUSE ALSO I CAN SEE IF HANDLES NICE THE SHOCKS FLOAT PERFECT IF YOU EVER WANNA SELL TELL ME RESPECT!!!!!!!!!!!
this monster is sick u are a pro rc car builder:D
nice thats awsoome :D
how long took it to build it ?
Thats is pretty freakin awesome man!!!
is that a coustom kit or are u just a beast and decided to do that? if its a kit plz tell me where u got it!!! that is so dope!!
that thing has too much power lol
but its pretty awesome. how long did it take you to make?
OMG I LOVE IT!!!!!!!
i have a xtm xt2 but my engine broke about 2 weeks ago so i decided to get the same engine you have. i looked on ebay and i managed to get one for £34. its in good condition and only been used 4 times. i cant wait to get it.
How fast can this monster go???
serious power there...haha sometimes on my Tmaxx the damn throttle will get stuck then i have to chase it..its sucks idk why it gets stuck like that
thats art my friend! Excellent!
nice, im going to be doing the same project in a month, but with a brishless car
that thing is a beast!
Wow, very nice. The control on it is a little off, but besides that its very good.
That is super nice looking truck. Congratulations, you should go find yourself a job designing RCs!!
nice truck you should get a wheelie bar like the tmaxx
