Disregarding how this video style has aged like a fine cheese, It's impressive to see how well these RCs made it up this hill. At one of the perspective shots, you can clearly see just how tall and steep this hill is.
My brushless Kyosho Truggy will take a hill of this grade with almost no effort. You just can't beat a low CG+unlimited power+4x4... And it ain't so noisy! Looked like a blast with the Rustler! Great Vid 5 Starz!
The nice thing about the T maxx is that there is a wider variety of parts and are more readily in stock at hobby shops. The savages are a more durable truck. Either way is a good way to go
WOW what a cool vid! my fav is the wannabe hpi 5b that was a t-maxx rear with a custom front the last t-maxx is messed up ( yellow wheels, purple body, red chassis) good old 1990's traxxas and hpi battle!!!!
loving the video. just wish there was some sweet hills to climb like that in Cambridge (UK). i'm thinking of getting a Losi Aftershock and challenging my mate's to a hill climb. we have a few chalk pits that could prove interesting.
WOW nice vid. I like the hill but yall should try to climb some of the hills here in NC. The first buggy looking thing is custom built. I can tell it has an E/T Maxx rear and maybe a rustler or somthing similar for the front. Nice looking Savage with the yellow cuda body.
@midnigthproduction no, i think the first one might be gasoline powered, the rest are nitro powers. its a very high octane nitro-methane fuel ( like what they use in thoes 8000hp dragsters) thoes little trucks have an engine block about .25-.32 qubic inch engine block. and they make around 3 HP.
BOC is perfectly fine for hill climbing... Think of the era in which it got really big. And I have no idea what's up with the bad comments, this video is awesome!
(part 2) suspension. Because when you land, it will just jump back like the 1st try. It flipped backwards. Oh yeah, Kenny. Don't put too much speed. When entering the hill, slow down a bit THEN go for the kill. Don't rely on the speed. Rely on the terrain. Remember, the more bumps, the more jumps,
I dont know what everyones on about that was one of the best songs ive ever heard!!!! also get some sand slingers or paddle tyres to really conquer that hill
eye right pal, ur slash will get humped! plus i have one and they ground all the time on standard suspension setup, i'm now using the toughst traxxas springs!
You should go again to the left side then make a sudden right turn when you're almost at the top. Just like to replay on 1:31. It was already good when it hit a little bump. When entering the hill, don't swerve. It will just power slide then it will roll over. Don't put too much pressure on the
You should go with an electric Traxxas Stampede. It is only 2wd but they are very upgradeable and simple to work on. Later you can always go with a brushless set-up. I have one with a Mamba 7700 set-up, It is crazy fast...or you could get the VXL version.
nice vid guys. amazing job. I have a question though. this is for anyone to answer. I'm looking for a decent monster truck or buggy, for a price of 250 or 300, any suggestions? engine doesnt matter as long as i can eventually change it to either a hyper .21 or a good .28 soo if you could give me a couple suggesstions that'd be greatly appreciated, thanks for the help.
the video was great.... but that music killed it for me. think it would have been better to hear the natural sounds of the cars climbing the hill. and hearing the cheers and shit.... but great vid and great cars......
yeah. i had t maxx 3.3 with a imex pipe, it screamed, and deff. would just fly up that hill, but some how i managed to break the connecting rod up at the wrist pin, that happened like 2 yrs ago and i kinda forgot about the truck tell the vid, cool vid
Thanks for the nice words!! Please everyone, rate our video!! This will let us know if all you guys want to see more! To answer your ? codose, ANYTHING gas rc will cost you $300-$500 dollars min. new! Ebay has deals less than that but be careful!! Anything off-road tends to be a little more! And it's a sharp learning curve as far as tuning and overall upkeep! But once you get comfortable with it there's nothing quite like it!! You'll have a BLAST!!
anthony, do you think you could make a slide show of your buggy, im in the process of building a hill climbing buggy similar to yours and would like to see how yours is set up. thx alot
well, it could if you have paddle tires, like proline sand hawgs and get a running start. the beauty of my vxl brushless is that brushless motors make the same amount of torque at 100rpms as they do at 40,000rpm's. nitros need to get up in rpms before they can produce the needed torque. the ones in this vid have larger engines than yours, but if you got a running start youd be surprized how far you go.
Look at when this was uploaded. It was almost 5 years ago! A lot can happen in the R/C field in 5 years! I don't thik they did bad for the cars they had to work with.
Keep checking back!! We'll have our second part out soon and let me tell you, you won't want to miss it! Let us know when the Warhead video gets put on cause I've been wanting to see one of those monsters run!!
What type of car is the one with the roll cage, I saw an olschool one probablly almost 30 years old sitting in this hobbie shop all dusty that resembled it.The one I saw had a gas engine about a weed wacker size, and a chain drive.
90% of todays off-road is built to take ABOUT any abuse you can give them! However we have broken quite a few parts!! But were OK with that cause we bash ours pretty good!! So upgrades only help! Depends on how rough your going to be!!
after watchin some crawler vids (which you have slagged off) i can definitely say that there is more skill involved in crawler i.e. maneuvering at slow speeds whilst tryin to find traction at everywheel etc, where as you vid shows that you pull the trigger/lever an up ya go simple even a child with a cheap r/c could do hill climbs
this is one of the best rc videos i've seen in a while. i'd love to try that with my brushless revo. great music too !!!!!!!!
Disregarding how this video style has aged like a fine cheese, It's impressive to see how well these RCs made it up this hill. At one of the perspective shots, you can clearly see just how tall and steep this hill is.

This has got to be the best hill climb I've seen for RC
My brushless Kyosho Truggy will take a hill of this grade with almost no effort. You just can't beat a low CG+unlimited power+4x4... And it ain't so noisy! Looked like a blast with the Rustler! Great Vid 5 Starz!
Great vid, that looks like great fun!!! I think that hill is steeper than it looks on film too. Well done guys!!
great vid, good job, people dont understand what it takes to keep control of so much power in such a small truck,so again great job.

great video, looks like a sweet place for hill climb, and i love the techno!!
The nice thing about the T maxx is that there is a wider variety of parts and are more readily in stock at hobby shops. The savages are a more durable truck. Either way is a good way to go
Thanks for your over emphasis of O, we really needed that to tell you the song.
WOW what a cool vid!
my fav is the wannabe hpi 5b that was a t-maxx rear with a custom front
the last t-maxx is messed up ( yellow wheels, purple body, red chassis)
good old 1990's traxxas and hpi battle!!!!
Good stuff. Nice job car catch guy. and power wins the day again!
Nothing more cool than a bunch of old guys driving RC cars
loving the video. just wish there was some sweet hills to climb like that in Cambridge (UK). i'm thinking of getting a Losi Aftershock and challenging my mate's to a hill climb. we have a few chalk pits that could prove interesting.

man that is one the best ive seen for a while,i would like to see a 30cc baja try that hill!
I feel so much better after listening to some disco richard simmons music. Thats much better than the scream of a nitro engine..thanx
Nice !!! wish i had my mgt4.6(with LRPspec3 .28) there to give it a try. Sweet rigs!!

Sweet video. Looks like a perfect hill to climb.
Wow!!! 2 things I love! Progressive house music and rc's. What's the name of this song?! It's awesome!
(part 2) suspension.
Because when you land, it will just jump back like the 1st try. It flipped backwards. Oh yeah, Kenny. Don't put too much speed. When entering the hill, slow down a bit THEN go for the kill. Don't rely on the speed. Rely on the terrain. Remember, the more bumps, the more jumps,

+Jack Phinney TRy flying fun to.
LOL! Great show. Hope everyone is ok.
eye right pal, ur slash will get humped! plus i have one and they ground all the time on standard suspension setup, i'm now using the toughst traxxas springs!
Awesome video. I would love to be able to hear those nitro engines screaming up that hill.
looks like a nice set up. i like that it uses a Picco built engine too. Id get it. but thats me
my favorite rc video right here
You should go again to the left side then make a sudden right turn when you're almost at the top. Just like to replay on 1:31. It was already good when it hit a little bump. When entering the hill, don't swerve. It will just power slide then it will roll over. Don't put too much pressure on the
very entertaining video, looks like a lot of fun, keep her lit
impressive especially the tumbles backward. bet a on board camera would have some neat vidio.
You should go with an electric Traxxas Stampede. It is only 2wd but they are very upgradeable and simple to work on. Later you can always go with a brushless set-up. I have one with a Mamba 7700 set-up, It is crazy fast...or you could get the VXL version.
go rustler! that little rustler did good considering it 2wd i got a n. rustler and its awsome!
@MrLillejeppe Thanx. But look at the bullbar with lights on its. Thats why I asked but then I saw the rims. Thanx
that is cool mn.. i like the t-maxx tires.. there like boggers lol

Bobs rustler did good too, maybe add some weights in the front would probably make it all the way to the top.
Why if they enjoy it thats great. Differnt strokes for different folks. Rc is fun.
yeah. i had t maxx 3.3 with a imex pipe, it screamed, and deff. would just fly up that hill, but some how i managed to break the connecting rod up at the wrist pin, that happened like 2 yrs ago and i kinda forgot about the truck tell the vid, cool vid
man at the top has one job to do and he can't even do that!! LOL your FIRED!!

What is the name of the rc that looks like a homemade buggy
how fast are those little wheels turning?
4 wheel drive sweet
my revo 2.5 w/ axial big block .28 would have made tht mountain look like a mole hill lol...nice vid
anthony, do you think you could make a slide show of your buggy, im in the process of building a hill climbing buggy similar to yours and would like to see how yours is set up. thx alot
@ninadawg99 The rules were probably no 4WD. If not don't you think they would've used it?
ya my buddy had em...offroad is what i want..they seem to takeaot of abuse///or do you have to get them upgraded???
thanks for pointing this out there detective keep up the good work and you mighhht become chief one day
Maybe if you put a small counter weight in the front to keep if from flipping backwards and to get more front tire traction on the 4wd ones
i liked soo much the nitro rustler, what is ? 2.5 ?
well, it could if you have paddle tires, like proline sand hawgs and get a running start. the beauty of my vxl brushless is that brushless motors make the same amount of torque at 100rpms as they do at 40,000rpm's. nitros need to get up in rpms before they can produce the needed torque. the ones in this vid have larger engines than yours, but if you got a running start youd be surprized how far you go.
cool is that a 4wd coz it loooks like a 2wd judging by the dirt coming from the back tyres
wright on man that was so cool!!!!
Look at when this was uploaded. It was almost 5 years ago! A lot can happen in the R/C field in 5 years! I don't thik they did bad for the cars they had to work with.
there must be another way ! ahah no seriously great vid
Keep checking back!! We'll have our second part out soon and let me tell you, you won't want to miss it! Let us know when the Warhead video gets put on cause I've been wanting to see one of those monsters run!!
I DID NOT LAKE
I love the role over at 3:30 its carzy
nice video :) and a really nice track
I got a suggestion, how about you put a bigger spur gear & four wheel drive on the savage ??
LOL I was insulted and im cracking up. I got told. haha
What type of car is the one with the roll cage, I saw an olschool one probablly almost 30 years old sitting in this hobbie shop all dusty that resembled it.The one I saw had a gas engine about a weed wacker size, and a chain drive.
