Brian, Great advise on the SmallRig accessories. I use those in my set up as well. One difference I prefer the ReallyRightStuff RS2-CL Arca plate over the SmallRig one. It has markings for the camera plate as well as the gimbal side.
Also the problem you are having with the SmallRig plate not clamping down on your RS2 gimbal is solved by taking an Alan wrench and removing the screw on the top of the locking lever. Then you remove the lever and rotate it over the gear to give you more or less tightening. It works like all the other locking levers on the gimbal you just have to remove the Alan screw to do it.
Great Video! I'm waiting for my advanced cage. I cant wait to use it!
I would love to see a showcase of you using the gimbal with the fx6, as well as your take on recording sound without the top handle on.
Thanks for the idea!
This is one video in a series that I shot early this year, every shot is from the FX6 on the RS2 in this video ua-cam.com/video/tpMGNTG8QT0/v-deo.html
i like your tshirt
Great vid as always Brian. Nice one.
Thanks 👍
Danke schön 🙏
I got that Manfrotto plate from Smallrig, and it's loose also. I do not recommend. Instead, now I got one from Tilta, that gives me plenty of room to fix the camera with more screws, also I can mount camera off center, if I need.
folding a long rectangular piece of paper in 2 or 3, and slide it in betwen the feet and the plate, should make it wayyy more tight !!
Great video! Audio needs a bit of work though 😢
Great great video and nice rig. BTW,what's the cable clip you use? I can't find it anywhere. Thanks
Smallrig* :-)
Are u going to buy the advanced ring grip
What batteries your running for fx6 on this?
POST SHOOT PINTS!
Or DSP "During Shoot Pints" when you can swing it!
Hi.
This QR Plate fit into manfrotton 502 ?
Tilta float will not help your back it kills your back I have tried it and had to return it
Which hdmi cable are you using?
Okay maybe i should watch the whole video before writing comments :D
Hi ! Just a question on the smallrig grip; i'm looking for this but i would like to know if we can put a monitor on it ? I don't want an extra arm on the side fort it. Thanks !
Yes you can. That’s exactly how I use it. What’s nice is when you going to briefcase, if you have the friction monitor tilt arm attached. You can simply readjust the monitor without any tools.
Do you think a fx6 and sony 24-70mm f2.8 gm lens would work well with a dji rsc2?
Yep works very nice!
