I grew up whatching these epic movies on regular tv signal in they used to cut the movies or the audio was poor and also the screen quality. Ok, what am I missing? The diesel fuel I know he needs for the rig, but only 5 gallons? Assuming an average 5.5 - 6 mpg (average for the Mack R600 shown) 5 gallons will only get him 25 miles or so, *not* including getting it primed and started after sitting and not including high speed evasion from the marauders.. Even more to my lack of understanding is the "some high octane gasoline"? He's leaving the Interceptor at the refinery, and he's not yet allied with the GyroCaptain; (and he makes the GyroCaptain carry the load of diesel *and* gasoline to the truck - so the gasoline isn't getting used in the Gyro) so I'm left to wonder what he needed the high cctane gasoline for.. Even as a "down payment". Why carry it out into the wasteland for two days? I know, I know, its only a movie, but I'm bored and my mind is wondering. Anyone?
@@shutyofacejerk Truck was air start. If it had a gasoline pony motor, it certainly would have not needed that much air to get the diesel turned over. Still a disproportionate amount of gas over diesel to carry, no?

Interesting piece of the movie, while hes carrying at least 140lbs of fuel (he asked for 5 gals of diesel and gasoline) but why didn't they insulate the Jerry cans to minimize noise and you don't give a obvious profile of yourself on the top of a hill in day light. I know, its a movie
