If this lore is to be verified as true, wouldn't that mean Nezarec's lunar Pyramid was here long before the Collapse. Perhaps that's why the pre-Golden Age text refers to Nezarec long before the oncoming of the Collapse. What if the Pyramids and Ziggurats on Earth are all mockery of the lunar Pyramid?
@@TheLionheart227 No, he got pushed down into this massive trench around the Regime's City, and survived thanks to the Witness. The Witness gave him a fraction of it's power, and Rhulk went on to use that power to destroy Lubrae.
Indeed, Nezarec is more than likely Osiris. Look up Osiris name and then the lore about Nezarec. Osiris more than likely is an Ancient Egyptian and Sagira resurrected him from scanning Nezarec's body. There are a lot of parallels in Osiris' myth and Nezarec including their bright light and darkest dark dynamic. All the stuff about Nezarec is before the Golden Age, and remember Ancient Egypt used pyramid designs for Tombs, Osiris was a King and revered as a God. If you think about it, in ancient human history someone with the powers of a Guardian would be a God to everyone else. 🤔 Reminder the sin so dark yet so Divine, hmm? Also Osiris was chopped into pieces in his own myth, Nezarec was also split into pieces. Coincidence...I think not!
you know at first I thought that maybe the first entry was actaully from Misraaks' PoV and he had just changed his name a few more times since, but yeah the 2nd page makes it much more clear it's from his mother's. it also means that Spider (Rakis) and that crazy anarchist (Siviks) we killed back in Season of the Armory were Misraak's adopted brothers
I wanna know who Horkis Fear of Mithrax is sure it was just some random nightmare on the moon but it’d still be interesting to know why Mithrax feared him.
I love how everyone during the first week or so of the season was kinda criticizing this season for feeling kinda disconnected from the previous season's narrative. Saying "Oh, how do we go from psychological horror with Calus aboard the Leviathan to goofy pirate puns and treasure hunts in space?" But now as we get father ahead and the story and lore unravel themselves, we see there's a lot darker things happening just behind the scenes. Things that absolutely relate to revelations made in previous seasons.
Fikrul, the Fanatic is almost the best bet as to who is the 3rd party. Above all else(lore book) looks like the House of wolves logo with a hive sword. Fikrul was a House of Wolves member and a former member of House of Exile(became the Scorn).
And to think this season started out so lighthearted that even Drifter was singing.......we're barely 4 weeks in and this season is already as heavy as last season.....just more brightly colored. This is some good-ass story telling on Bungies part. Byf thanks for keeping it all straight for us
Do we know if Mithrax's mother is dead or alive? She is referred to when he is caught by Sur Eido in a way that seemed to imply she was alive. It's feasible she could still be alive considering Eramis is of the same approximate age.
I’m willing to bet that she’s now dead, since there’s a wandering Nightmare on the moon that turns out to be Mithrax’s mother (as far as I know, anyways)
I was thinking the same! And I think she’s the third party and Mithrax knows it! But doesn’t want to say it! She probably made a deal with Nezarec and now she fulfilling it!
@@Brad-ut1ro I mean it's an exception? We only encounter her because we decided to go inside Calus' head, right? Every other nightmare is of someone who has died
Fun thing I noticed going through the Pirate haven, a crate with Spider's Symbol on it near the slaughtered. It's the only one, there is Devils, wolves, etc. but only one of Spider's it's an easily overlooked piece. Spider's little engram game being jammed by blocking outside transmissions is also indicative that his is communicating somehow with someone outside of the Last City, or at least the Eliksni Quarter.
A few years ago it would have taken the Narrative Team multiple expansions to broaden any tiny story threads they've laid. Crow took YEARS to finally bring into the actual storyline and the Pyramids/Darkness took a while too...but this stuff with Nezerec is so perfectly timed. My compliments to the Chef!
I distinctly remember a scan of somewhere under the moon saying that ‘there was a group of fallen here moments ago, we just missed them’. That’s what I was thinkin’ about the whole video until I realised that Mythrax is probably a bit older than that would coincide with. Still interesting.
i find it interesting that mithrax’s daughter explicitly says, they trust the light, not the great machine. implying that they know or suspect a difference between the 2. just as the pyramid ships are not the darkness itself, but are wielders of it. this could further imply that there is a being behind the traveller that we have yet to see
The whispering dark 2 lore book seemingly recons the fallen meeting the hive back in the whirlwind. That whole event in D1 was told to us through doom of chelkis and fragments cards. Oryx supposedly arrived in the system chasing the traveler and destroyed the fallen. Chelkis was to have a battle with either warpriest or oryx himself but became frantic after noticing the traveler had vanished leading to his defeat.
That’s a connection I never made until just now. Weavers became Wolves. Dancers became Devils. I wonder what the other houses used to be, compared to what they were when we faced them in D1. Winter and Kings.
I very much appreciate the D2 lore breakdowns you provide. During the playing of the game I often overlook a lot of this stuff sadly, and sitting back to watch as you fully break down the stories as things are revealed is just... is perfect. Thank you again.
I was replaying Beyond Light recently and noticed Eramis told Araaks to "prepare the body" from some kind of crypt. We sure went a long road in before they introduced this plot again.
The creatures smelling of "wet earth" can't be the hive, the hive and the darkness attacked Riis so someone as old as her should have seen them before, also the description of those sounds and smell doesn't match the hive at all, but it is the same as what was described by the black armory and Cayde's journals.
@@bspoon2529 If that's the case then why didn't we bump into the Tormentors when WE discovered the Lunar Pyramid? If what Inaaks encountered on the moon was a Tormentor, then it's a wonder how ANYONE survived that encounter. That's unless someone actually brought it down before we got there. Also, Inaaks was likely a very young non-combatant at the time, so it's unlikely that she was there to see the brunt of the massacre. She probably didn't get a chance to actually see the Hive up close before leaving Riis.
@@franciscoandres4907 I doubt that, the Eliksni that made it off Riis know the hive. Doesn't add up. Plus, the Cayde Journal was from the collapse, I think it's whatever the darkness's true army is. The one's that we still have yet to see. The lore book also says the moon was abandoned and quiet, it makes it seem like there wasn't even Hive on Luna yet. I think we also got a similar description of something dark and cunning that smelled of wet earth in a tab about the Crypts below Old Chicago, as well as tabs in a season that had egregor in it and to do with the Glykon. Bungie keeps teasing these creatures whenever they tease something dark, right before a big reveal. It will be kind of a let down if it's just Hive because it felt like Bungie was slowly building up to some eerie darkness creature that sounded like an earth golem or something, they described one as hulking but intelligent, which isn't really a Hive Knight or an Ogre. Fingers crossed, hopefully it's not just Hive. Not to mention the game's desperate need for new enemies, enemy designs, like the Fallen Houses used to look different depending on where you were in D1. We could honestly use a new Class as well. Like a playable Captain or Accolyte or Psion or something.
Byf has touched on this a couple times and offered a theory that it could be the Aphelion (a theory, and not one with much stock. This isn't unique to Byf either). Based on Cayde's book, the drawings looked like one human-predator thing, and one blobby-golem thing, both jet black and misty/gooey. Might have said they were amorphous. Possible other links to these entries (Cayde's book, Black Armory, and today's lore) are that from the Awoken and the Drifter. The Awoken one documents mysterious creatures attacking a vessel with no survivors on board, and a weird blue light/aura in their presence. The one from the Drifter mentions a planet he went to in the outer solar system (or beyond?) which had creatures stuck in pillars here and there, who could also suck light in proximity to guardians, causing final death. It was said they "share similar bioenergetics to the Hive," whatever the heck that means. I am too lazy to find these lore entries but take a dive into Reddit with Aphelion as your key search. Many people assume them to be a "pure darkness race" and some hoped they would be part of Lightfall, which suits the name, especially if they were part of the Collapse back then. I don't think they were Tomenters, the pictures don't look anything like the description. Also, there is a lost sector in the Dreaming City called Aphelion's Rest. Only one person is said to have survived the creatures that assaulted the Awoken, and I think that was Sjur Eido (the Awoken person, NOT the Eliksni named after her). A writer for Calus' Chronicon may have mentioned these guys saying they could destroy a whole world in hours. The word "Aphelion" means the point when an orbiting body is furthest from the sun. At some point in the year, Earth hits Aphelion when our distance is greatest. Sounds dark-like, right? These are just tidbits I know, and may describe several things that are unrelated, or are intentionally misdirected. I don't know. But it's one of my favorite things in the lore. I'm actually VERY surprised Byf didn't touch this topic because he has made videos (across several, and I think also a specific one) mentioning everything I put above. I personally have a guess that they're basically shadow-creatures that might look like the Taken, but not with the Taken effects and abilities. I don't think they were made by the Darkness, but have a natural tie to it, probably due to their abilities/aptitudes, but not by anyone's design. They are just convenient for devouring light and channeling Darkness. I feel like their nature is to ravage places. Another guess that I have is that when the Drifter saw them frozen in icy monuments on that mysterious planet, that the ice was Stasis-made. Doesn't sound like Light could do the trick, nor normal ice either. Again, the connections I made above are quick thoughts, and possibly unrelated to one another, or to this. I also think that everything I mentioned here might actually be EVERYTHING published that is possibly about them, as there is nothing more. Oh, they might be radioactive too. Something to do with the Awoken's early experiments with Nuclear stuff in the Distributory. That's everything I can think of, and Aphelion is the most convenient name for the community at the moment. EDIT: "Veil" is another name I've seen for the race of this concept as well.
Thank you for including recaps for information already mentioned in prior videos so that new viewers can get the full story without sifting through various video updates. Makes much more sense and works better for everyone.
I know this is not connected in any way, but I do feel that the fact the Fallen have found the Pyramid and the Hive on the Moon long ago makes Taniks and The Shadow Thief that bit more scary. On a more relevant note, I know the story beats and evidence - coincidental or outright stated - to have some idea of what to expect in the coming story weeks. How it will play out or what lore people can expect is unknown to me so I will be very happy and intrigued to discover it with everyone else. As always, thank you for making these videos Byf! See you Starside in the next video! Btw, when will there be more TSLAYP content with Barb, Chromar and the team?
This was such a cool little turn that I didn't see coming and actually took a double take to make sure I read the lore tab right Whatever happens next I'm definitely eager to find out what Missrak's mother found inside the Pyramid and what happened to her
I actually think the person who massacred the pirates this week is actually mithrax himself. He might be trying to tie up all the loose ends himself before his daughter finds out or get affected by the darkness residing in the relics.
Man, Good Ole Byf, just wanna say you are the man brother. Best Lore channel there is. As someone who never played D1, started right when forsaken came out, Your channel has made the game 100x more interesting and compelling. Hope They appreciate you like they should. And I gotta say, Bungie has really crafted an amazingly fleshed out story and Lore, man, It may be the second best Sci Fi Universe I know of. easily the best for a video game.
I guess that that was also the time when Spider aka Rakis tried to take advantage of whatever Misraaks' mother found within the pyramid. But MIsraaks himself had other plans, which would 'conflict' with Rakis'.
So awesome so see Eramis connected that far back to have been standing against Mithrax's mother and can't wait for some further lore going into Spider and Mithrax's carnage growing up in the House of Devils.
Man, what a twist it would be if Inaaks ends up being Nezarec (or whatever is in those relics), transformed by the power of the darkness. It explains Mithrax not wanting to say much about the relics or the third faction, despite clearly knowing about them. I only wonder where Eramis fits in all of this.
in the black armory lore it describes the creatures that "smell like wet earth" to make a noise " Like a machine being stretched and then compressed". i don't think that describes hive
Something interesting-- I'd always assumed Oryx was present at the Whirlwind, due to flavor text from the Doom of Chelchis scout rifle, where Chelchis Kell of House Stone asks about the whereabouts of the Traveler before being killed or Taken. But Inaaks seems unfamiliar with the Hive. So, perhaps Chelchis and House Stone encountered Oryx during The Long Drift.
I thought Season of Plunder was going to be a more light-hearted romp compared to previous seasons. With how engaging and terrifying this mystery is, I am beyond glad to be wrong.
I was reading this and I thought “I bet Byf will make a video about this”,but one thing he didn’t mention,Missrax’s mother says she tried to negotiate peace with Humans and they attacked, and wore there body parts has trophies , leading to the hatred and jealousy boiling over into unrestrained violence against any Human they came across,so we fired the first shot, taking some of the blame away from the Elilksni
Gameplay: YOOOO I GOT A GOD ROLL Lore: I had to butcher my own people, we would not starve in the dark. I should've killed my son when I had the chance.
Good! you're the first one that I hear talking about the wet earth smell. Now all we need to know who is Hokris (Horkis?) the Fear of Mithrax is since he roams the moon as an elusive nightmare.
So its probably not too much of a stretch of suppose that the bits inside the relics are parts of Nezarec but I'm curious to see how this fits in with Mithrax's mom? I wonder if they were kind of like the splinters of darkness Eramis used with stasis, fragments of an entity so suffused with darkness energy they could be used to grant darkness powers. Perhaps we should be cutting off Rhulks legs to turn into guns?
On the raid on the Beasttamers hideout, wonder if there is some kinda Cult of Nezarec behind it, we now know that Pyramid has been there for ages since before even the discovery of the Traveler.
I know there's not much lore about the topic but I'd definitely want to hear more about what spider/Rakis is up to with this "interference spike" that's been happening when he gives an engram each week Like this week eido set up a jammer which made it so we got some good loot instead of green rarity gear which surprised spider/Rakis so he's most definitely hiding something from us that activates whenever we play the engram game with him
absolutely loved this!! you really help me make sense of things and lay it out more simply as It's easy to get lost because of real life. Also loving this seasons story and as a fan of Mithraxx I'm intruiged as to where this is going!
I'm still leaning into my Mummy (1999) parallels here. The relics seem more and more like Canopic Jars from Egyptian burial rights; bits of the deceased buried with them after they are mummified. If you've ever seen The Mummy, the mummy in the movie needed a living sacrifice to bring his dead love back from the underworld...what if a living Elinski is needed to complete bringing Mithrak's mother back from the dead; what if she IS Nezarec; Fallen Disciple of the Witness. 🤨
Like the little sprinkling about Eliksni culture in the beginning of the first entry. Also expecting we'll get that leaked cutscene as part of next week's story progress. I don't think the "things" mentioned by Henriette Meyrin are separate from what's mentioned in this new lore entry.
The whisper of nezarec brought misraax to violent devotion as to collect the relics of Nezarec... the whisper spared his mother when they first encountered the hive below the lunar surface. The winnower sought to implant darkness in the eliksni, not to any particular one, but to those with potential... mithrax and eramis, like humans that the traveler deemed worthy of the light. I speculate the darkness has been implanted this way many times to further the work of the winnower. Where the traveler worked to further the cause of the gardener, only pushing for advancement and growth. But once backed into a corner with no escape, at the mechanations of Savathun, it then relented to implant the power of the light in similar fashion.
Where does that put the parts of the Shin Malphur/Drifter lore, where Shin mentions Drifter quoting old stories about tombs of Nezarec. It's weird that Drifter still hasn't connected the dots.
I'm stoked and hoping to learn more about Nezzy. However, I'm appalled I never realized docking came from a need of food and conservation of nutrients and resources.
Heres a question: As a dungeon master of many years, I love subtley subverting expectations. SO I would like to think I have an eye for such when I see it in other stories. So... Do we have *proof* that the old crews are working for Eramis? Proof that House Salvation are assisting the pirates? We have confirmed accounts of Eramis reaching out to them, and confirmed accounts of them going for the relics. But no confirmed accounts of a pirate, to my knowledge, swearing fealty to or making a bargain with Eramis. What if the Spider is misleading us, pushing us after the one aparent enemy and secretly supporting Eramis behind our back? It would explain who cleared out the Beastmaster's base: no secret unknown enemy. Just Eramis and her House. Take a look at the Spyglass's (LFR's) lore card. He can see the relic, knows what it is. He knows what Eramis seeks now and does not like it. Then its hinted that he takes another shot at his own crew. Why would he? I suspect, he killed those that saw it so he could take it and ferry it away into hiding. Its why every relic we've found, has been seperated, and *shielded*. Hidden away. What if Spider is helping us to gather all the relics in one place, only to betray us and let Eramis swoop in and take all the relics in one strike?
While the theory is interesting, The Sails on Enemy Ketches bare the mark of House salvation, and they repeat (alot) that the crews often are caught between us and Eramis's Wrath. The other thing is that Eramis will reach out, but make a very apparant threat to said Pirate lords that should they betray her they will feel a wrath they cannot comprhend. Clearly, at least one would have tried to call her bluff, so there would have to be some merit to her threats. Also, the only shielding I'm aware of is the Relic itself. The Relic acts as Lead to Uranium, containing the Darkness energy within. Another thing is the Relics themselves are in the Helm, not the Eliksni Quarter. Spider would have no reason to know the Helm's whereabouts, and has already displayed disgruntlement for not letting us add the relics to his collection. While I'd be curious if he is the 3rd party also trying to scoop relics, possibly to gain leverage with the Vanguard, I don't think he'd try to Double cross the Guardian. We've already demonstrated we're willing to take what's his, I don't think he'd want to lose anymore to us. Actually while typing, he may have moved to secure one relic to negotiate for his Ketch back.
Guardians are so oblivious. Pretty much everyone knew about the Lunar Pyramid except us. I bet everyone else knew about the city on Neptune in Lightfall too. We're all too busy just being like "hey check out our big volleyball" while everything else is going on right next door.
Would be a trip if Inaaks ends up being a version of Nezarec, if not a reincarnation but someone to take up the mantle. Would fit for there possibly being at least four tombs. Would also put Eido at some risk I think.
Interesting to see how the darkness has effected all the alien races in Destiny. If the Vex ever get a speaking character maybe they will have a story to share as well.
I feel like the description of the hive in this lore is bungie's way of retconning the lore entry that described the creature in black armory... I for one was excited at the prospect of a new enemy race (Aphelion? Veil?) that was more closely tied to the darkness than any we've seen so far. Disappointing that it just turned out to be some hive unit imo.
So @5:29 Eramis seems to have been part of the House of Dancer, she knew Misraaks' mother, and that she has hatchlings. Interesting. Maybe in Lightfall or the next season we get to meet Eramis' children...
I wonder if that third part force that attacked the Beast Tamer has something to do with the people that survived the collapse on Neptune that we saw in the Lightfall preview
Yeah the description here is really weird. We know the Hive should've been on Luna by then, and the description of them running back to their temples would make sense for them too since the Hellmouth has been a stronghold for so long. The line about "smelling of wet earth" makes me think of the Aphelion from Drifter's tales and Cayde's journals though. So either the "wet earth" line is an intentional hint and the rest of the description was a red herring that could also apply to the Hive, or vice versa, but I think it's too early to make that call.
I'm still wondering if the Nightmare Horkis, Fear of Mithrax is of some relevance here; I mean, a nightmare bearing such a name and one which is found on the moon has some unsung potential.
Drifter said that the relics had a finger rotting in it when he cracked one open. Could be like how ancient Egyptians stored body parts of pharohs? Nezerec was dead and ancient aliened ancient humans who mummified him when he died
I am wondering if by the end of the season Nezerec will either be resurrected in Eramis or she will gain his power and transform. Eido said that she dares not open the relics because she believes the darkness inside would alter her physiology. If Eramis gets them all all that Darkness power could turn her into some mutated form.
I'm willing to bet that with all of the little dialogue pieces between Saint and Misraaks, that Osiris will play a role. I don't know if he's been speaking with Nezerec in whatever mindscape we eventually also get Strand from or if Nezerec will need a new body and just outright possess his body but something's bound to happen. There's been too little spoken about Osiris for them to suddenly bring him back up without any payoff.

@@evilformerlys4704 man, I didn't know the Savathûn and Osiris twist could be topped
@@evilformerlys4704 now THAT would b a serious twist. That would b fuckin WILD bro. Dayum.
There's also a cosmetic chest piece made for matching Nezerec's Sin available this season so I think Nezerec is going play a bigger part later.
you know at first I thought that maybe the first entry was actaully from Misraaks' PoV and he had just changed his name a few more times since, but yeah the 2nd page makes it much more clear it's from his mother's.
it also means that Spider (Rakis) and that crazy anarchist (Siviks) we killed back in Season of the Armory were Misraak's adopted brothers
Wasn't he house of kings before he became scorn?
The third party are hive guardians
@@Naofumi-Iwatani yes he was a archon with house of kings
Writing for this game is unparalleled. Wish it was voiced in game, but until it is, thank you lore master!
And to think this season started out so lighthearted that even Drifter was singing.......we're barely 4 weeks in and this season is already as heavy as last season.....just more brightly colored. This is some good-ass story telling on Bungies part. Byf thanks for keeping it all straight for us
Got to love that The Spider was a cheeky thief even as a kid XD. Awesome video Byf
Do we know if Mithrax's mother is dead or alive? She is referred to when he is caught by Sur Eido in a way that seemed to imply she was alive. It's feasible she could still be alive considering Eramis is of the same approximate age.
might be, might not be. i’m willing to bet we’ll see her fate within this lore book.
@@twelved4983 true. But isn’t there a nightmare of Caitl?
@@Brad-ut1ro I mean it's an exception? We only encounter her because we decided to go inside Calus' head, right? Every other nightmare is of someone who has died
The story of Mithrax is coming full circle, cant wait to see how deep the rabbit-hole goes with him.
The scariest thing is that there was something terrified even the hive enough for them to run and hide
Eramis literally dropped spider off, meaning that technically he is of the house of devils. Nice.
Bro could be a baby eater and I’d be cool with it. Hell, there’s a guy in the Eliksni district who did that and now he makes cool blankets!

The creatures smelling of "wet earth" can't be the hive, the hive and the darkness attacked Riis so someone as old as her should have seen them before, also the description of those sounds and smell doesn't match the hive at all, but it is the same as what was described by the black armory and Cayde's journals.
i think they are the tormenters
There were also creatures described similarly in one of the Black Armory Lore books.
I was wondering if the twist was going to be that Eramis was Misraaks' mother, but this is one heck of a twist.
Curious where this will all lead.
Mithrax: "Mommy Eramis..."
Guardians: "Yeah same...wait, you mean it?!"
What if misraaks was the brother of eramis
@@jackdraconia ...Did you watch the video?
No just thought it would be a good twist in the story my bad for not explaining better
Maybe Misraaks' mother became a disciple.
After two years out of destiny, after moving and not having a console to use, your videos are why I'll continue playing destiny when I pick up a ps4
This was such a cool little turn that I didn't see coming and actually took a double take to make sure I read the lore tab right
Whatever happens next I'm definitely eager to find out what Missrak's mother found inside the Pyramid and what happened to her
Byf it is REALLY wild to see one of my lore book covers in your videos. Wow. Fantastic video as always!
I’m excited to see where Skolas fits in all of this.

So, perhaps Chelchis and House Stone encountered Oryx during The Long Drift.
i think chelkis and his house stayed behind to let let the other houses flee.
This would’ve occurred after the razing of London, so unfortunately that’s simply not true.
Destiny gameplay: pew-pew-pew and colorful explosions
Destiny lore: unspeakable eldritch horrors from beyond the stars
Gameplay: YOOOO I GOT A GOD ROLL
Lore: I had to butcher my own people, we would not starve in the dark. I should've killed my son when I had the chance.
Its great learning so much more about the fallen while also progressing the main story. Thanks for the discourse Byff

honestly my favourite character by far, love mithrax
Good! you're the first one that I hear talking about the wet earth smell.
I wonder if Nezareck was the one that was leading the assault on Sol with how much he seems to pop up in the system.
On the raid on the Beasttamers hideout, wonder if there is some kinda Cult of Nezarec behind it, we now know that Pyramid has been there for ages since before even the discovery of the Traveler.
I know there's not much lore about the topic but I'd definitely want to hear more about what spider/Rakis is up to with this "interference spike" that's been happening when he gives an engram each week
Like this week eido set up a jammer which made it so we got some good loot instead of green rarity gear which surprised spider/Rakis so he's most definitely hiding something from us that activates whenever we play the engram game with him
absolutely loved this!! you really help me make sense of things and lay it out more simply as It's easy to get lost because of real life.
I’m starting to think that nezarik is mithrax’s mother turned discipline but mithrax managed to dismember her during her transformation
I think you forgot that misraaks literally got nezarecs blood injected into him
I'm stoked and hoping to learn more about Nezzy. However, I'm appalled I never realized docking came from a need of food and conservation of nutrients and resources.
Whohoo only 30 mins old! Thanks byf for keeping me caught up even though i dont play anymore
Absolute genius storytelling.
Love you byf, big fan of the channel.
I really hope we get to fight a behemoth or whatever they were called from the reveal trailer
“The Round One” implying that Spider has always been fat.
This is exciting indeed
For New Lights who might have missed it: The husk of Insurrection Prime is still in the Eliksni Quarter, right beside Spider's bar.
Heres a question:
As a dungeon master of many years, I love subtley subverting expectations.
It’s a good theory but I think he knows he’d be dead if he did that
While the theory is interesting, The Sails on Enemy Ketches bare the mark of House salvation, and they repeat (alot) that the crews often are caught between us and Eramis's Wrath.
Finally being here for the new lore is nice.
I just have to say this video was totally awesome, thanks so much for making these. Totally enjoy them😁
Guardians are so oblivious.
The fact that you get 3 mins in and have to deal with 2 ads before any commentary is why I prefer myelin these days
I like that Rakis is "the round one" even when he's all grown up XD
Interesting to see how the darkness has effected all the alien races in Destiny. If the Vex ever get a speaking character maybe they will have a story to share as well.
Asher mir
Yeah I thought this too, but I hope we get an original character

I thought the creatures that “smelled of wet soil” was a reference to the Veil or whatever the true darkness race is
Yeah the description here is really weird.
I know Eramis sent her wife and children away during or after the Whirlwind, but now I'm wondering how and what they're doing
Always look forward to the insight you bring to the content.
I'm still wondering if the Nightmare Horkis, Fear of Mithrax is of some relevance here; I mean, a nightmare bearing such a name and one which is found on the moon has some unsung potential.
Good stuff as always. Keep up the great work.
I love you reading the lore ^w^
Maybe you could do this for more of the destiny lore, i know i would listen to them all ^o^
Was this interaction of Mithrax's mother with the whisper that scattered the Hive actually "Nezerac's Whisper"?
inaaks being "gentle hands" gives real "gods hands" vibes from yakuza 0
I am kind of sad Skolas hasnt even been mentioned.

I always thought the wet earth and screams like a machine being stretched apart and pulled back together was to do with the egregor. We still don't know what is in the crypts beneath Old Chicago either...hmm. We need more story explained Bungie!
All of this and let’s not forget Calus and his connection to the lunar pyramid last season and we now he’s a big enemy coming up in lightfall. I’d love to know the info shared with Calus by the witness pertaining to the lunar pyramid and Nezarec
