Love this video! Growing up as 1 of 9 kids I didn’t get to buy the cool clothes and latest trends but I always found creative ways to incorporate different clothing and household items into my outfits. This reminded me of that and how much I loved the creative aspect of making outfits out of what we had around the house. I’m inspired to reimagine my current wardrobe and look over all my clothes with a creative lens!
Another great hack video from Orly that I will be saving. Yeah some of these my be harder to manipulate on fuller shapes. Because I have rather large chest area it hard to wear clothing front to back. I tried it and the look was not so complimentary to the girls. Some I knew about but what blew my mind is the suspender hack. I thrift these because they have such wonderful prints and I plan on using them as suspenders on some looks with my trousers. Now it like hell yea, glad I thrifted some because this is going to be another great use for the ones with clips. Glad to see the family nearby while filming. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
I totally related to what you mentioned about others being amazed at just simple styling tricks. I had my own fashion window display business back in the day (I'm now an old lady) and just trying different stuff on the manikins made me realize what works best but you come up with some unique tricks that I never thought of. Love your energy & style.
@@lornaboot3924 I was about to say the same thing! I'm 56, and that one was a first for me! 😃 Plus the purse strap necklaces = new to me! I have always used the vintage chain belts as necklaces - and pretty much anything as a belt! Except suspenders!! 😂❤️
@@lornaboot3924 I'm 72 and had to laugh at the long belt flip thing from mom from the 80s. That was such a go-to! I love that it's back :) And the suspenders! I'm off to the thrift store!!
🤩🤩🤩 these hacks are everything!!! So many to try!!! Like the cuffed jeans, the versatility of the cardigans (fwd/bkwd), the tank knots and the cuff sleeves hack…mine def didn’t stay yesterday!!! Yes, yes, yes!! Here for them all! The suspenders corset belt is a thought! Thanks Orly!!!
So many clever ideas. One of my friends had a sweater that buttoned in the back and it was just the cutest. Pretty sure it was very expensive, too. It never dawned on me to take a regular sweater and wear it backwards. Love the suspender idea, too. Very unique. Now I need to go practice that bow technique. Thank you for sharing these style hacks.
Now, that's the kind of styling tips I like! Just yesterday I watched a video with a youtuber giving styling advice like "Okay, so, about midi skirts - look, I paired mine with a sweater!" Um, yeah, I'm quite sure that most people would wear it with SOME garment on top. Thank you for these less obvious tricks and hacks.
Thank you!!!! I learnt so much!!! Going to try different tucking methods you showed. The perfect bow. And wearing my cardigans backwards! You’re a style genius ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thanjs for sharing it with us!!!
Holy smokin' hott tips... this has been one of the most generous, useful videos for tweaking your wardrobe to YOU. Thank you!! Subscribed and squealing with giddiness.
Love your ideas .... I've shared a couple of these with my young friends... I say Young, because I'm 70 & still found some great ideas that will work for me! :)
That last tip is actually incredible, I'm mindblown. I have an extra bag strap with two beautiful gold link chains on it. Just removed them and now I have two brand new necklaces to layer with - thank you!
Hi Orly, as usual some fab ideas and hacks, thanku so much. I love how u keep it real with the hubby n kids in the back ground doing the normal things that families do 🥰 I saw a young lady do a few cardigan hacks awhile ago. She put it on backwards and then lifted the front over her head to the back..looked pretty cool and became like a bolero or longer depending on the length of the cardigan I guess. Hope that made sense lol 🤪🥰 Thanks again hon, always a pleasure Kaz from Oz x
OMG Orly! You saved my wrap skirt from the meh pile ! That's why it didn't look like the influencer video I obsessed it from ! I also loved the backwards cardi hacks. So great, thank you!
Okay after 50-something years, I finally learned the reasoning behind bow tying. Let me see if I can explain. It’s all in which loop you start with - when you first cross the ties and cross them together, you will see there is one on top and one in bottom of what you are tying. If you make your first loop with the bottom tie, then the top tie has to come over the top, around and under to loop. If you first loop the top tie, then the bottom tie has to come under that, around and over the loop. Your bow will lay straight every time. Hope that makes sense. These are SOOOOO cool!
@Tammy Vaughan: Tammy good job putting reason in writing. If you try it with 2 different shoe laces or pieces of ribbon, you will see the ribbon/lace you make first cross on top with needs to be same lace/ribbon you make first loop with. Then bows will always be horizontal. Always works for me. I was taught this in 5th grade choir so we could tie the bow on our robes, and teacher wouldn't have to tie 30 bows before each performance.
You're amazing Orly, so fresh and natural, cool without trying. I just love everything you do, it's a little treat to myself watching your videos. I'm also inspired to try more and be proud of my 'home made' creations. These hacks are superb! XX sending love.
Love your channel! I’ve been inspired to up cycle some pieces in my closet. I converted a dress to a wrap skirt and a crop top from a dress. I’ll bet you have some AMAZING ideas!
Such a great video! Thanks for the tips. I'm huge fan of the front or side tuck on tshirts. I can't tell you how many outfits I've loved more just by doing that.

I'm only into dresses and skirts, not pants. But I absolutely love that cardigan wrap-around idea, as I have a cardigan that's a lot longer than it should be so now I'll be able to see what else I can do with it!

I am obsessed with the bow trick. I'm using it on my shoes, presents and anywhere else I need a neat bow. Life is changed!
How are there so many other hacks like this out there but YOU are the only one who explains them perfectly and the tutorials make sense? Thank you.
Twist and tuck just changed my life 🤯❤️

In junior high my girlfriends and I wore our cardigans buttoned in the back - until the “powers that be” decided it was too sexy for us. Lol
