I love upcoming t-shirts. I work at a thrift and take home rejects a lot. This is fabulous for people like me who don't have a sewing machine available right now. Sewing hack to help with cutting the slits evenly. Take a wide-tooth comb, got mine from dollar tree, and set the teeth at the edge you want to cut and do a cut down the center between each of the comb's teeth. Significantly faster and neat looking. helps with cutting fringe evenly too.

Hi Angela, great upcycle on T-shirts. I normally don't wear T-shirts unless I've cut them up (since middle school & I'm 60 yrs young). I enjoyed seeing the transformations you did. I sit on several non profit Boards & have sooo many T-shirts that were just stashed, now I may take them out & try one of your techniques with them. Thanks again.
