Your stuff is always a work of art. I love how you showed everyone you don't have to have expensive photography equipment to pull off a really good photo. You're very inspirational to everyone. Thank you and keep up the good work.
5:35 HAHAHA NO WAYYYY diddy Kong has always been my favorite Nintendo character. I just subscribed recently I’m really into action figures and this is just such a coincidence.
Great tutorial. Didn’t realize phones could be used to take such great shots. Also, really appreciate how willing you are to share your knowledge and experience with everyone, kudos to you! 👍
Just recently got ahold of some articulated dinosaur figures and have been thinking about taking some shots with them for a while now. This video helped me so much!
Bro, THANK YOU! I can’t afford a camera right now but I do have an iPhone! My toy photography has always been “ok” but with your tips, it’s about to be fire. Thanks dude!
During the fireworks, you did exactly what I kept doing when trying to use burst. Sliding to the right turns on video. Sliding to the left turns on burst. I need to check out what I can do with my phone. I always have it with me and you never know when you may pick up a fig and see a great photo op on the way home!
Dud you are so right! I swore I swiped it the right way lol It took a frew tries for sure. Thats a great point! Its quite fun to see what you can do with it!
Thank you Bro for posting this content. It really inspires me more into Toy Photography. I've been into Toy Photography for 2 years now by using my Smartphone Camera...keep on inspiring us and more power to you.😊😊😊
I seems like the healing tool in snap seed is best used in busy pictures because it easier to hide the little imperfections it leaves behind. I use it to remove stands in pictures taken on desks or other flat open areas so it easy to notice the little blur the tool leaves.
Dude, THANK YOU! The healing tool (or just the Snapseed app itself) is just what I needed. Also using an Iphone 13 Pro Max for photo taking of my dinosaurs, I was wondering how to fine tune the pics besides just using the built in picture app. Its good, but this is awesome. Again, THANK YOU!!!
Thank you very much for all your advice! I'm French and you are definitely my main source of inspiration for toy photos! I use my Oppo Reno 6 pro smartphone and I was using PicsArt which is a good application but I 'll try Snapseed . May the Force be with you ! 🙏🕉️🙏
Is there an app that you can suggest for adding special effects? For example, light sabers and laser blast maybe some fire/explosions?. I am very new when it comes to toy photography and I'm still learning a lot. watching your videos not only inspire me but they teach me so much thank you.
Definitely!! I actually made a video after this with the top 5 editing apps for phone toy photography! It’s linked below! Also, feel free to comment or message me any questions during your toy photography journey! I’m happy to help however I can! 🙏 Top 5 Phone Editing Apps for Toy Photography! ua-cam.com/video/qdcMTzBKg-E/v-deo.html
Hola Jared, no se si tenés algún tutorial sobre esto pero mi duda, cada vez que veo tus fotos de Mando con la armadura de Beskar es el brillo metalizado que le das a la armadura, como logras eso mediante photoshop?. Espero tu respuesta, muchas gracias.
Hey, Sir! I love your work, and I have a suggestion I thought would be pretty cool. What if you took some shots with a Sonic figure?? Some Sonic toy photography would be really cool, I think.
Darth vader is kind of difficult lol because my camera would think Darth Vader isn’t a character and also his lightsaber is hard to be held by his hand. The dart Vader I use is from black series
Almost forgot to mention that I also will use AppleRaw for my photos. From what I understand of Raw photos, there’s more data in the photo that allows for better editing. It’s probably a poor explanation, but I’ve only started learning about that.
Thank you so much! I bought a magazine on Lego photography and your video was helpful for IPhone toy photography! Would you be interested in doing a Lego themed video in the future?
Great video, appreciate the tips but if you’re going to encourage people to do this safely you probably shouldn’t be out there in bare feet. Never know what you can step on. Or in 😂
Just got into toy photography and this video has been a life saver. Thank you so much!!!! You’ve got my subscription.
That’s so amazing! Thanks so much for watching🙏 good luck with your shots!

But you do need the fancy stuff
I am pretty sure the iPhone cost more then a decent camera 😂

I love the 0.5x zoom. it's great for exaggerated "gun pointing at camera" shots like some of the promo shots for the max payne games.

Snap seed is really one of the best for editing. Especially on the phone. Great video!!
Snapseed is great and free!!
I seems like the healing tool in snap seed is best used in busy pictures because it easier to hide the little imperfections it leaves behind. I use it to remove stands in pictures taken on desks or other flat open areas so it easy to notice the little blur the tool leaves.

Hey thanks so much!! I do have a sonic figure 🤔 I need to shoot it more!
Great job
Darth vader is kind of difficult lol because my camera would think Darth Vader isn’t a character and also his lightsaber is hard to be held by his hand. The dart Vader I use is from black series
I see! Maybe try using Darth Vader in a lighter background? The camera might be able to differentiate it better!

I've been building diorama and blowing them up for years with my kids. Only ever had a phone camera. What's a good entry level proper camera?
Hey thanks so much for watching!
I just made this video with all my recommended entry level gear! 🙏
You should teach if you know how to create a Kamehameha effect in photo shop
Is there any way to make lightsabers glow using snapseed?
On the pic with the explosion you can still see some of your equipment on the left 😅
Awesome video Jared, you took some great shots with the Iphone. Venom was a little star again, and the blonde hair suit you 👌😄
Thanks so much Andrea! 😂😂
Nice hair 😎
I’ve used Snapseed and it doesn’t do that
The Toy Photography Doyenne.... We are not worthy. Cheers m8
