I really enjoy your videos and love seeing the resulting photos. I only have a phone camera, for now, but I'm making it work.
A pro tip for shooting with a phone is turning your phone upside down. That way you get your camera closer to the ground making small figures look bigger and getting a better perspective. I also find that getting bokeh is much easier that way. My Insta handle is @helgren_kjeller

The only bad thing is that some of my figure aren't fully poseable or poseable at all
I ran into a similar problem because I also have some figures that aren't composable but building backgrounds around them and some good editing has given me some good photos

Posing can be very difficult, while I got that wire you linked so I’m good now, how about you?

You should also let folks know that depending on the shot, with a strategic alignment of camera and figure, you can hide your wire/knitting needle/stick behind a leg and not have to edit it out :) alliecatinsta

HI, you have got me hooked on this type of photograpy.
I was lucky i got three stormtroopers two white one black from my local op shop,but unfortunately they dont have any weapons/guns any sugestions where i could get some.Keep up the great videos

How do you clean your figures and keep them nice after exposing them to the elements and fireworks?
I usually will just wash them in the sink afterwards! Nothing special!
Thank you for this tutorial. Posing is something I really struggle with especially to get my art dolls to look natural since their ball joints do have limitations. I also really admire the DOF in your photos. I always struggle to get subjects in poses when I cannot see through the view finder (since my old DSLR doesn't have a display). I really want to do more compositing to avoid damaging expensive dolls.

Sometimes the pose is awful by the naked eye but with the camera and certain angle it’s looks way better
