Very informative, thank you so much 😊. Planning some spring toy photography soon with a buddy, help fight Covid isolation too 😉.
À few items I would add to that incredible kit:
    - torch lighter, smaller and can be found at dollar stores.
    - Small gardening Trowel for digging or building dirt...
-Screw on lens protector in case of flying debris or Wind blowing.
    particles.
-make a DIY smoke machine with a Vape machine... Small, recheargeble batteries, 100% glicerine used, does a lot of smoke too 😉
    - Fishing Wire could be used too to hang stuff...
Really looking forward to starting this hobby, been collecting for years. Thank you so much!
    Peace Brother ✌️

Thanks Jared, I am getting more into toy photography. Currently I use a Godox R1 RGB mini light and will get some more or Lume Cubes. I have been looking for a light stand/mini tripod to support my light, so the Manfrotto should do the job. The only thing I don't like with Lume Cube though you have to pay extra for the gels, where as with Godox R1 all in one kit.

My thing isn’t gear so much I mean like u said if u got the figure and a good camera phone should be good. My thing is tryna find a good spot to take the picture. Tryin to find a good setting and background where everything looks proportionally right to scale. Not jus in the yard where grass will be as tall or taller than the figure. So it’s stuff like that if u got any tips that would be great.. also I have horror figures so I’m goin for pictures with those not so much storm troopers and stuff that I mostly see when lookin up toy photography

what would you say would be the recommended megapixels for a good camera? I found a bit older model of the cannon rebel at my local used game/movie store for like $180 and it has the base MP count at 16.
