my brothers used to do this as kids in the 1960s. I still have some of their black and white photos recreating scenes from WWII. They look surprisingly real.

The pure joy he must have felt when he looked at the first photo using the fireworks is something only a photographer could understand. Clearly he worked for it, stuck to it and nailed it.
This is brilliant. The use of practical effects and real-world objects looks 10,000x better than anything you'd get in CGI. The simple "back to basics" approach hearkens back to what made films in the 80s so charming. Love the work here. Thanks for the video!

Incredible talent. My brother and I would use fake Halloween blood and soak little bits of paper towel to put on our G.I. Joes so it looked like gunshot wounds or large leg or arm injuries. I'm happy with my action figures just sitting on a shelf for me to enjoy.The most action they get is when one falls over or on the floor.Besides I consider them as works of movable art,plus some are expensive and I want them to last.
My brother got me into doing toy pictures as a hobby and I really do enjoy doing them! They aren't to the caliber that SirDork does but I do strive to do better!
I love Channel like this channel that aren't afraid to post other people to let them know that there's different content out there. I love he created a new type of Photography that didn't involve people and just involved action figure and I liked that he didn't want Instagram because it's a very hard these days to find famous people who are creating everyday on Ig. I use to do the same thing years ago! I even experimented shooting space battles at sunset with the light select all the way down on the camera to make them look like they were really in outer space!
We were 12, about 49 years ago, when we learnt how to use bangers and fireworks to blow up Airfix model toys. We never had cameras... phones.... or anything to record the fun with. We escaped the clutches of the local police and the occasional annoyed neighbour to have a few years of making and destroying toys and rockets. Most impressive was a 1/72nd scale Hercules (C-130) that we filled with firework rockets in the cargo bay and got it 20’ into the air and 100’ down the road from a ramp made of plywood supported by house bricks..... Halcyon days 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
