I really enjoyed this video, and your breakdown of the shots and how you composed the light for each one. Nicely done!!
@@sethr5058 so glad you liked it!!
Great gid keep going bro!
@@ytmire thank you!
I have purchased the Gordox AD 600 Pro II, it's a great light and works well with the Godox X3, a great combination. I like your photo shoot, lots of great ideas. Thanks
@@alpho2010 awesome!! It's definitely a great light! And glad you enjoyed the images! 🤗
Great review! Since I started shooing with global shutter 6 months ago, I can’t imagine using any other camera for strobe photography anymore! AD600 Pro flash duration times are gonna be dope! Cheers from Japan!
Thank you!! It's definitely an awesome combo!
Fantastic video Jason. I really enjoy the way you teach. Great job.
Thanks so much!! Really appreciate it!! 🙏
Great work!
@@DaveCalderone thank you!! 🤗
I just ordered one, and this video is very helpful.
@@ChandraChandra-wx9em so glad to hear!!
Very creative.
@@JohnPatota thank you!
so creative in everyday scenes
@@markcoombes4915 thank you!!
Love it! Killing it as always.
Appreciate it!! 🙏
Good variety of shots. Some work, some do not. But client can choose as they see fit!
@@gosman949 for sure. I like them all. But I definitely like some more then others. The idea is always to get the client some veriety to choose from though ✌️
Great video and excellent shots!! I was beginning to consider buying a 600 (using 400s and below), before this light was announced. Your early review may tip the scales in favor of buying one. Thanks and keep up the great content!
It's a great light of you're in the market for more power! Just added a link to the Adorma version (dame exact light but US distribution and support) if you're interested! 🤗
Great Video!!
@@MartinV. Appreciate it!! 🙏
Great eye!
Thanks so much!!
Great video 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can you please tell me what light stand your use for the ad600.
@@TheSunnySuttons thank you!! It's the c10 stant from Chettah stands! 🤗
Although it had nothing to do with the new Godox strobe, I liked your coverage of the shoot. Very creative choices. As for the AD600 Pro II batteries, unfortunately, they are the same poor WB26 batteries that came with the AD 600 Pro. If left unused for a while, they discharge to a point where they can no longer be charged with the standard charger. UA-cam has tutorials on how to revive them, but it is complete pain to open up your batteries to make them work again. Keeping them topped up while not using them is also a pain because the recharging interval is so ridiculously short. My Godox AD200 batteries need almost no attention, so it is not the case that there are no better battery implementations. If Godox either updated the WB26 without changing the model number or if they improved the corresponding charger, I'd be interested in the AD 600 Pro II. Otherwise, there is nothing that it adds over the AD 600 Pro that I'm interested in.
@@coolcat23 thank you! And ya I hear the batteries can have issues. But they have all been fine for me if you just use them enough and don't let them sit for to long.
@@JasonVinson183 Yes, if one does not let them sit unused for too long, they are completely fine. It is just a chore to having to babysit them so much, if one does not have a real use for them on a regular basis.
Another good video Jason. Have you tried the Sony A9III with different GODOX/Flashpoint strobes for 2 and 3 light setups where you've played with the Flash Timing settings between them at differing power settings? Reason I ask is because I have 3 lights (XPLOR 300pro, 400pro, and 600pro) and wandering if there are challenges at the higher shutter speeds when shooting in full sun?
@@RunNGunNation ya its going to be difficult getting multiple flashes at different power levels to time up at high shutter speeds no matter the brand. We need a flash company to create flashes that have the same peak power at the same timing no matter the power level.
what brand is the tube lights please? great video!

@@JasonVinson183 thank you!
Great video and great creative lighting! Did you have to do the micro flash adjustments on your A9iii to get the flash to be timed correctly with your shutter? I have the ad600 pro and I have to go into the flash micro adjustments in camera to get the flash to sync correctly when over 1/500 and not using high speed sync. I am hoping this new flash might be different. Thanks for any info!
@@ZBertolamedia ya., you still have to use the micro adjustment. We will need a brand to release a dedicated trigger to get past that hump.
I'm looking at my OG AD600 and really trying to figure out how to get excited about this light. For portability, the AD300 or AD200 is the businesses.
@@intrinsicimagery it's definitely not meant to compete with a 300 or 200 for portability. The upgrades also (imo) aren't really meant to compete with the past 600Pro in terms of getting you to upgrade. Though certain people will see a new feature and think it is worth it. But outside of that, I thinks it's a newer better version for people new to the system or new to getting a 600ws light.
Is the weight the same? Or any chance the Pro ii cuts any weight?
can I ask, what do you charge the family for a shoot like this? how many photos do you deliver?
I have multiple package options so sort of depends on what they are looking for. Some people just want a quick 30 minutes. Or I just did one last week that was 4 hours.
what filter did you ues to hide the part of the frame and make it a sun flare? 12:30
@@avrahamTZ just search for "convex lens" on Amazon. I bought a cheap set from there 🤗
I'll look for it thank you!
it isn't 1/512 second, it is 1/512th power. How do you NOT understand that basic stuff, sorry. I was going to share your video in the Facebook Photography groups I admin and mod, but not now after you dont seem to know the difference between manual power settings and seconds , OMG. Please correct your video. FYI, I currently own A1, A9III, A7RV, and I currently have 12 Godox/Flashpoint strobes ,and four wireless triggers including the new X3 one for my professional and personal work around the world. Cheers
@@6gwilliams I just misspoke while recording. But congratulations on all your gear and successful world travels! ✌️
@6gwilliams Who raised you? Know-it-alls like you ruin it for everyone.
As you typed that long winded post of yours, no part fo your brain suggested to you that it might have just been a mistake?
