- In this video, I use the Nikon Z6 III and the Nikon Z8 with the new Godox AD600 Pro II. This might be an excellent choice for pros looking for high power, low power, and the ability to use it as a pseudo video light.

DISCLAIMER:
I say no to about 90% of companies requesting a video in exchange for a product. I tend to say yes to things I have purchased, liked, or want to purchase for the business. The AD600 Pro II was a good exchange as I will use it in the real world. Godox did send me a complementary unit in exchange for this first look. I wasn't paid for producing this first look and had been using the flash on jobs.

Seems like a great tool for a working professional. Extremely versatile and solves a LOT of problems in challenging environments.
Great video. 🎉love the temple work.
Shout out for the " You Like! " @ 0.49. Cracks me up every time 😁🤣
Using lighting is great and it will give that pop in the photos and 3d look
I don't know if I'm watching your videos more for your jokes than for the rest 😁
As long as you're watching. 👍👍 thanks!
So at 20fps that was an epilepsy canon!!!
Godox should release a new firmware for the old transmitters to take advantage of the new features of those lights. Good video as always Omar.
agreeeeeeeeed!
I’m not a professional, don’t use lighting, but I enjoyed the video anyway and learned something new! Thank you!
thanks for watching!
Related topic: what you pack for your portrait shoots and what you use to carry and access everything. Obviously a lot of variables, but I’m struggling figuring out a good system. Camera strap vs wrist, messenger bag vs backpack, etc. How do you transport your stuff and work efficiently?
Smallest kit is a messenger bag and a reflector. Larger, I use a cart: ua-cam.com/video/v0WaO6y-s9A/v-deo.htmlsi=AMgZVN32ahIqeAgk
Thanks for sharing.
you got it!
Feels like a remote trigger will be delivered soon 😂
lol...hoping for a firmware update on the older one to go 1/512th!
I agree, like with many things buttons are better than touchscreens, because you get some tactile feedback.
Buttons rule.
Great review Omar! What about TTL, how it works here?
Really well...I shot 5fps TTL test but didn't include it. Tiny shifts in exposure but very good.
Can you set your camera shutter based off the light freeze mode shutter?
Shutter doesn't actually matter when freezing with flash. You shoot below your sync speed 1/200th. Check out some videos on it....very cool technique.
How many there?
But, does it use same battery? My ad600 and ad600pro do NOT. Where does this fit in? Carrying multiple batteries/chargers is enough of PIA for me to look elsewhere
uses the same battery as the old pro. Not the old 600. You must shoot for hours! lol...I usually have a backup flash, not an extra battery.
