I work in NYC and frequent Adorama's store. I will make sure I give you a in-store "shout out" to the Adorama Sales team during my next visit.
@@andrewade7017 that’s a blessing. Thank you for taking the time to show love man I appreciate it.great words on this beautiful Sunday. Blessings to you
I shot natural light for many years and after you recommended the ad600bm/xplor 600, I’ve been shooting with strobes ever since. So when it comes to discussing the 600’s, I’ll take your word over any. Glad to see that Adorama got you on the team 💪🏽.
I haven't been active with my photography for a few years, unfortunately (long story) but I still love my original 600 when i occasionally pull out my camera gear. Good to see how far these have progressed over the years.
Thanks for this video and comparison. Have you noticed any shifts in color accuracy? I have the original flashpoint 600 and occasionally there’s a slight color shift. I’m considering upgrading to the 600 Pro or SE, but am unsure if there’s a noticeable difference.
Great comp. I'd like to know what the expected lifespan of a bulb is. I have two Pros and my main has about 8 years of life in on the same bulb with probably over 40K shot taken. When does the color change or do you literally just want for the bulb to not pop anymore. I don't remember seeing anything on a recommended schedule to change/update the bulbs.
hi Dude ... can you explain 2 points please... how can you have every time a soft light on your models from top to bottom and in all places? how do you always get a golden light on the skin of your models and this in all conditions thanks in advance .
I have the original 600 PRO TTL. Nice features on the new models but will keep what I have for now unless ofcourse I'm the lucky winner of the new SE model
Guys, just a friendly reminder: Always take off the cap before popping a strobe light. Otherwise, you might stress out the bulb or even fry it! I was surprised to see it here.
@@espresso4eva true . I needed to stand them up and didn’t want to stand them up on the bulbs or put the bulbs in the air and keep flashing the camera . Long as you don’t do it every day all year I think we good with 20 mins :)
Good to know that was my biggest problem shooting a 2 light set up with the original 600 being warmer then the 600 pro makes color grading a little of a pain
Man, I’ve been following your content for about 4 years now. Truly appreciate your insight and the Black Dish is a beast….

Yes you hit it on the umbrella holder on the explorer 600 pro. I wonder if I can interchange that wing nut piece, HUUUUUUMMM?
Well the Xplor 600 doesnt have a hole at all for the umbrella

This was great. Ill ask adorama if the Pro 2 will have a non-ttl version. If not, then I'll purchase 2 Special Editions instead.

If you try the Profoto B10X Plus you'll throw all three of those lights in the trash and wonder why it took you so long.
I can own 4 of these lights and the versatility that comes with it compared to One B10X. LOl light is light
