Couldn't agree more on the journey of discovery being the value of interactions and the people themselves. Fittingly apt with the decorative restyling of Vasco and I'm sure he would agree also😃
The food looks excellent, I love me some spice. In Phuket next month for some diving, you've convinced me I need to give Bali a look, I'll see if I have time for a side trip.
Hi bluefish. Diving in Phuket sounds great - hope you see some nice corals and plenty of fish. I think everyone should have at least one trip to Bali and if you can squeeze it in, I feel you'll enjoy it. Especially if you come up this way to Ubud and get lost in wood carving workshops/villages.
Thanks Wayne. I love the honesty and rawness of your videos. I also have found The Balinese people playful and enjoy a fun interaction. You are also helping me with bahasa. Thanks Hopefully I will see you walking around Ubud Sunday- we leave Monday for sideman ☺️
your videos are so much for exiting when you film what you see. Improved a lot. Foodstalls offer not only food but it means a little interaction with locals and to discover so many lovable souls.
Hi piersy, I think that's the most enjoyable part - hanging out and getting to know the people and watching what they do. Thanks for stopping by to say hello.
Hi Wayne, Been enjoying your vblogs. I’m from Perth and considering spending some time in Indonesia next over winter next year. Wondering if you could do a video or share some info about the best and cheapest way to exchange money while I’m there. Cheers
Thanks, Ben. I think it's good idea to run through money options and how to change it while you're here. I might incorporate it into a video covering other aspects of travelling here. Thanks for the request, and saying hi.
The waitress said she reckons that serving of babi guling would be around 100.000rp in Australia and maybe she should just sell the babi guling in Australia instead 😂
@@fiascodagama1 He understood everything you said, despite the pronounciation errors . I dont know who did the subtitles but they are a correct translation also. 5 stars, keep it up.
@@ian-f5f Thanks for letting me know the translation is right-ish, ian. I find translating helps learn but it seems very slow going - fun, however. Thanks again.

Loved the way you enjoyed the food, just refreshing to see that you don’t mind the decor or whatever is around you, well done great video.
It's all about the experience, I think. I don't want to lead a sanitized life. :)

It's all a bit of a fiasco, that's for sure, rl - just making it up as we go. :)Thanks as always for saying hi.
@@fiascodagama1 and loving it as Max would say, good stuff and keep that fiasco going😃

Hey thanks, Aly. I think sincerity is important if engaging with anyone, people pick up on the BS pretty quickly. I hope we bump into each other. :)
Bahasa literally means language, not Indonesian language.
Just found you on youtube Wayne. Loving this video. Reckon I will have to go and check out the rest. Cheers Glenn
Hi Glen, thanks so much for dropping in and letting us know you're here. Nice one.

Ha! Thanks so much for explaining, amandas. It helps to have a native speaker like yourself around to make things clearer. Cheers.
Your Indo is improving by the day mate.

Hi Wayne, if you're looking for people who actually look older than their age, you might need go go to pattaya 😂😂
I'm not sure the shores of Pataya is where this channel's headed. Ha! Thanks for the laugh.
