Looking forward to your street food vids .I love the sambal so much I've started making my own here in Oz. I'm still to try Durian ,just haven't come across an open one yet and not wanted to waste a whole fruit if it's not for me ......I love what you're doing ,missing Bali so much cheers
Hi philg. Ah, anothert sambal lover - it's addictive, isn't it? I'm afraid durian is a fruit too far for me, but I know other westerners who like it. thanks for the kind words, philip.
Mantap Pak. kita tiba ke kuta hari rabu ini. Dan Ubud, hari jumat. if we have time, we would love to do coffee and hear about your experiences in bali. sampai jumpa nanti Pak 🙏🙏🙏
I really am loving this. I am experiencing it vicariously through you because these are all experiences I have had. I love Indonesia, I first went there in 1978 and many times since. Just the food and the people, I could have spent my whole life there but real life got in the way. But like most Asian countries they are a food culture, they really do live to eat and enjoy their lives. We have a lot to learn from them.
I also wish we could adopt many of the cultural components the Indonesians have, Ian. I guess some places just resonate with us as individuals, and very obviously you and I (and many others) share that experience. What i would have given to see Indonesia in the sixties and seventies like some of you did - I'm just a little jealous. Thanks as always for sharing your love of Indonesia and Bali with us, Ian. Cheers.
Hey DrHarry. Thanks. You're coming at a great time as there's a lot that's going to be happening around that time. India is a very special place - you can't come away from there without being affected one way or another, it's an experience like no other. Thanks for saying hi.
Hi Aly. I don't speak Indonesian very well - my grasp is very very basic. What I do know has just been picked up through talking with locals - I guess over a couple of years now. Cheers.
Hi sd. I've never had any issues with the chicken, and all the locals eat it. They've been doing this a long time and I believe make just enough so that it's eaten before spoiled - then cook some more if needed.
@@fiascodagama1 I was going to ask the same question. My first trip to Bali was May this year and I was too paranoid of getting sick to try local wurang food especially seeing the chicken sitting in the heat. I’m heading back to Bali September next year and would love to hear your tips about food safety in your upcoming food video to help ease my paranoia when I return. By the way, I’m loving your videos. @fiascodagama1
Wow. Aku tidak tahu itu! Terima kasih. Mungkin saya bisa mengetuk pintu dan mengatakan bahwa saya orang Australia dan dia akan mengundang saya untuk bergabung dengan mereka untuk makan malam. :) Thanks.
Westerners on motorbikes is what I look out for, the locals no problem they weave around. As for sterile, I would add bureaucratic, over regulated and everything being so serious apparently now, with the happy go lucky fun and freedom of yesteryear squeezed out yep that very very sadly sums it up.
I have to agree with you, rl. Bali particularly it seems to me has a large number of westerners who aren't really experienced on motorbikes and are a bit of a worry to everyone on the road. I only watched a couple of young Australian women the other day wobble slowly away after they picked up their scooter rental. i've seen many young people with bandages down one side of their bodies as the elbows, hips, and knees of one side of their body has been removed of its skin.
@@fiascodagama1 Yep it was just a genuine observation I've noticed from a few personal close calls and just watching them ride. Having had some experience with bikes you can tell when someone has no idea and there are too many that don't to chance it.
Hi Michael. I live on $US500 a month give or take a little for day to day costs like food, room, and an occasional beer. This does not include airfares and travel insurance. Thanks for dropping by with a question. Cheers.

Hello from CA & thanks 4 update!
Hi Liiz. I hope all is well in CA for you.
03:26 when wayne meet wayan. Sound almost similar. 😅
Hi Gail. I get Wayan all the timen and have got to the point of not correcting it. I also get Wine and have actually grown to like that name. :)
Certainly doing well with the language Wayne.
It's slow going, Chris. Good laugh for the locals. :)
Nice video
Mantap
Thanks for dropping by.
Thanks Wayne
Ubud certainly is a buzz with the pending ceremony.
How long did it take you to learn bahasa?
Hi Aly. I don't speak Indonesian very well - my grasp is very very basic. What I do know has just been picked up through talking with locals - I guess over a couple of years now. Cheers.
Not just bahasa, bahasa simply means language, it needs to be suffixed with whatever country , like bahasa Indonesia, bahasa ingriss, etc.
Though I've never been to Australia, bland describes the States very well.
We also have a blandness to a degree by comparison.
Do you ever venture out of Ubud? I love Sanur
Hi Dane. I'll be moving around a little more soon to see other parts of Bali. Cheers.
10:41 Would the chicken be ok sitting in the cabinet like that? I just get paranoid about chicken lol

What date is the Ceremony? Another informative Vlog
I believe things begin on November 10th, MrH.
Thank you
Had no idea it was on. will be a big week
Sure will. We're in for a treat.

The contemporary developing world still has for some an allure of what India was like for Western travellers in what was British India.
There's definitely an attraction for some of us. Not that we want to divide and conquer, we just like to watch. :)

Hi Enlightenment. It can be daunting to eat the local food if you're not used to it, that's for sure. :)

Are you gonna mail-in your vote or you not interested to vote???(even if you are not interested, no offense taken)
I'm Australian, manujohn, it's compulsory for all Australians to vote. Our next Federal election is in September 2025, I think.
