Look Imma be straight with you, If you haven't ridden a Harley M8 Softail cruiser, especially one with race suspension and a cam upgrade in it. YOU ARE MISSING OUT. DUDE it's SO FUN throwing a "slow" cruiser as fast as you can through turns. I think it's genuinely a lot more fun than anyone gives it credit. It's the most fun on a bike I've ever had and I rode a Rocket 3 Storm here a while ago with no restriction. There's something else about throwing a cruiser as hard as you can into twisties and coming out feeling like you nailed every apex. Even if the sport bike guy behind you is chilling.
Everyone says this , well I’ve ridden plenty and owned one and personally with the choices we have now I’ll never get another one, I don’t knock ‘em but I’ve tried em. Just not for me
The middleweight "sporty" bikes class is S+ tier because you get the looks and (sometimes) sounds of a supersport but the torque and comfort of a naked bike. Bikes like the RS660, Daytona 660, GSX8R, Ninja 650, CBR650R (less torque), R7 (less comfort), 675SS (maybe)
"Sporty" bikes... I like that description. Anyone calling those sportsbikes or supersport never really had one inbetween their legs. You'll only get the sound of a SS with the 650R. Everything else is naked bike noises.
I did a 750 mile trip one day on my 05 919/900hornet against a 35mph headwind on a 75mph interstate and that kind of ruined naked bikes for me. My neck and shoulders hurt so bad I was absolutely miserable. That being said I still loved that bike. Now it doesn't really matter what style of bike it is it has to have the ability to put on some luggage of some sort and not give up too much in the aesthetics so I can run to the grocery, hardware store or parts stores because when winter tones down for the year I hardly touch my pickup truck unless I have to. You should have added mini motos in here as well I love my 21 monkey and the grom scene is crazy.
I think your underestimating the ADV. The are growing in popularity in the United States. You can travel comfortable long distance on them and do low level off roading. With 4000 + miles from coast to coast, ride that on a ninja h2r and see how you feel. There are so many uses in the United States for these bikes. They are so useful, that Yammie noob has officially switched over and his main bike is a ADV. ua-cam.com/video/Cc9RkUTOFm8/v-deo.htmlsi=amMcp3YlY1T3CaYA What you should really be doing is which motorcycle is the GOAT for the different motorcycle types.
954 Blade was arguably the most usuable supersport that, if I were to have my time again, would be the bike to keep. Big enough boot to sneak 2 bags of white powder with a sufficiently high street value, useable midrange and pretty decent wind protection for something that was pretty agile. The last of the Baba blades didn't look half bad either. UK roads then didn't need more than 150 crank HP, let alone today. Purists may also argue the Gixxer 750 would also be of the same ilk.
Supermoto is A tier for me, light, grunty with a high up riding position with wide bars that’s good for urban riding and when you wind the wick up on them they’ll out handle SS bikes in the twisties and wheelie for days. Only downside of them is they don’t have a lot of top end and they’re not ideal if you’re a short arse!!
Supermoto and Dual sport bikes are the best I tried a lot of bikes but I ended up getting a DRZ400S I like the fact that they are really cheap and reliable asf
Review motorcycle boots that have built in sync LED lights in the soles that flash when your braking. Additionally, certain boots incorporate an advanced control system that enables forward and backward pivoting for operating the gear and brake levers, while restricting rotational movement for added protection.
I have to correct you on cruisers. Not all are created equal. I've got a 2010 Suzuki Boulevard C-109R. I can get around 150 miles to a tank (I can be a little enthusiastic on the throttle 😁) combined city/motorway riding from it's19L tank. Given that it's an almost 2L V-Twin that weighs in at 500kg even (1102lb) with me on it, I don't think that's too bad. Sure beats the 600km from 80L I get from my V8 Mercedes. It's overhead cam, and 4 valves per cylinder. With its aftermarket air cleaners, and exhaust, it hits the limiter at 7400 rpm, and pushes 109.5hp @ 6800rpm, and 162.37Nm of torque @ 3300 rpm at the back tyre. The best part about it though? Japanese reliability. It's at about 45,000 miles, with nothing more than regular servicing every 5-6,000 miles without so much as a hiccup. Other than that, I'd say I agree with almost every other choice, but until the EV infrastructure here in Australia, and EV ranges are greatly improved, there's no slot low enough for them in my books.
We have sports tourers but what if we could make them worse? Yes okay, lets strip all the wind and weather protection off them and voila the naked bike is born. I guess they are great for people who don't want to go above 70mph and who don't do many miles each year. I think a lot of naked bike owners are city dwellers. Bomb around 30mph roads giving it the big'un!
🤣🤣 Yep everyone wants their favourite type of bike in S tier. I wasn't prepared to do that for this video... although I did try to be as fair as possible.
@@GoblinRidessupersports in B tier is criminal it should be in C or D. Because most of them are useless on the road they are only good on a track if it was a tier list of track bike the supersports would be in A or S tier
I started riding in the '60s. Almost all bikes were naked in those days, they just didn't know it yet.

@@dorayaki5494 a little harsh saying only a 4 cylinder is the SS/SBK sound. What about the Daytona 675 triple and Ducati panigale L-twins?

Great video Gobs..I would agree with most of that tier to be fair..
Putting adv in d tier lower than tourer is wild and brave.
U say that Honda goldwing doesnt produce a lot of torque. WTF
Not for the displacement and weight, no not a lot.
adventure bike is better than sport bikes it's a sport tourer
Bruh your tier list is garbage dual sports, supermoto and ADV should be in A tier or S tier
