I got a 2006 one a year ago. (In regional New Zealand) Its insanely good, perhaps the best bike I've ever owned. I got the sprockets, chain, fork seals and CCT done (as well as an extra HISS key) as well as a bit of the usual fluids change. It's a hell of a lot of bike for the money.

I'm subscribed to Matt's channel because he's honest and intelligent, yeah he can be a little abrasive at times but at least he isn't so far up his own arse he needs a glass stomach. This video, along with the 2 original ambulance videos, has shown you don't even know what the word integrity means. This video has so many contradictions, the biggest one being you saying that you aren't disingenuous. You can't ride, you clearly have no idea about work/maintenance, how to use tools etc. Asking your audience if you should delete the videos or not? Yes, delete your entire channel

I noticed you pulled the clutch to start the bike. I have the ZX14R Australian version and there's no need to pull the clutch to start. I can last about 30 minutes on mine, and I have 25mm handlebar risers, before my neck and hands are gone. But then I am 63. I just can't summon the courage to sell it.

Try DaVinvci Resolve, rather than Adobe. Your stuttering while editing issue is a mixture of your software (Adobe anything eats resources) and your hardware, computer, not camera. If you're trying to edit in 4K or more, you need a serious amount of RAM, a couple of really good SSDs (preferably M.2 on your mother board, as opposed anything plugged in to SCSI for example) and a really good video card, with as much VRAM as you can afford. Don't have your editing computer as your gaming computer, it really should be a separate machine... Especially if you want to be professional, as one of the added benefits of it not being a toy, but rather a tool, is you can claim it on your tax return as a business expense... Much like not putting a bed in whichever room you edit and podcast in, if there's no bed in there, it's an office and/ or studio, for tax purposes, if there's a bed in there, it's not (well... Depending on the kind of context you make, i suppose... 🤔).

If it looks and sounds like an advert, it's probably an advert. Not sponsored , I'm sure the kit will be returned 🤔 UA-cam sponsored videos are branded content that promotes a brand, product, or service by effortlessly incorporating it into a video (usually within the same niche). A brand will pay UA-cam sponsorships with a monetary or product payment.

Never had a problem with o/heating.The carby model 1100XX had apparently a flat spot mid range under hard acceleration.

Hi! I also have Blackbird 2002 EFI model. I ride all year put 30 k km in just 1 and a half years. Had the same problem with overheating... not just heating to 107, it got to 120 121 in city traffic in summer 40 C outside temp real fast. Only soluttion is to drive above 100km/hour to keep it at 100C. Replaced the thermostat OEM, coolant, radiator cap Mishimoto 1.3bar, also replaced the radiator with a handmade one thats wider by .5 cm. And added and front fender extender to protect the radiator. You will never manage to keep this bike cool like a 'normal' one, thus my motive for wanting to sell it.. ITs very good in winter at - or 0C outside temp tho, always starts at buton. Installed LSL handlebar conversion kit so i sit more upright and the heat doenst blow on my chest now+ JAWs footpeg lowering kit, bike has almost 100 K km.

currently owning both i'd say both are amazing bikes. but the gen 2 is just better , significantly more power whilst being smoother , handle bar controls as opposed to using dash buttons (low fuel light doesn't get rid of all your dash data) as well as having external temperature , 2 cooling fans as well as increased heat insulation under fairings , abs / trc , improved oil circulation and cam chain tensioners. in terms of weight the feel is negligible due to different geometry. the only reason i'd have a gen 1 is for cost or if you like the looks, though in aus the cost difference isn't that large. PS - gen 1's fairings are less annoying to take apart.

Not only have you dug a bigger hole but you have buried yourself neck deep in this and the senario's you put did not happen and the crap about if you were going to a job interview. There is a thing called a phone and I am sure if someone was called and told of the situation then it would have been allowed for... You just kept digging and digging all sorts of senario's to justify why Paramedics should not attend to someone else's very serious and possibly life threatening issues just to allow a few people to get past them doing their job. You said it was not critical as no one got put into the ambulance.. OK so now you are saying the person who assessed the patients situation was wrong too and should not have even called on the paramedics to attend? My niece is one of those who is at the end of the phone and does over the phone assessments on who needs an ambulance or paramedics and is not just someone who is not medically trained. She has 25 years in nursing, intensive care nursing, heart wards, A&E as well as being on the front line having to help heli lift patients from ships to hospitals. Her assessments save ambulances being used when the patient doesn't need one and calls for paramedics when an ambulance is not enough support for the condition of the patient. Your original video and this one has only reenforced that you were not only wrong but arrogant thinking your justification will change people minds when its just showing how wrong you are. If you want a senario, If the paramedics had moved the ambulance when they were needed the most and that patient actually dies because some guy tells them to move.. YOU would be part of the reason for that person to lose their life.. But that is not your problem.....

Had 3 BBs, they are renowned for running hot in traffic, fan cuts in @ 102 degs, in high ambient conditions my previous bike hit 118 degs when stuck in traffic in a German city (then the air temp was 38 degs). Soon as bike gets rolling it comes back down, all due to aerodynamics and fairing design restricting air flow to rad when stationary.

I would not change a thing about these bikes, ZZR1400, 'Busa, Blackbird. They are heavy and torquey and that is what makes them so good on UK roads in real riding conditions. They iron out crap road surfaces and stay composed and never feel skittish. They hold a line into turns like they are on rails. The brakes are built to stop these things on the later ones and the engines are bomb proof, totally unstressed and reliable. They have a presence on the road and car drivers see them. When you want to nail the tings, they go all the way and it's not a near death experience like on a screaming thousand. I had the Gixxer thou's ZX10r's and 'blades and my 'busa is the best fun I have ever had apart from taking my GSXR1000 K2 round Isle of Man TT course. I would absolutely LOVE to go back there with my 'Busa. Don't mind if I do! Anyway, in my view these bikes are the best road bikes you can never buy again. Get them while they are still available.
