I was having such a problem getting my camera to work properly. I was scouring the internet for solutions and even customer support was unsuccessful in solving my issue. I was getting incredibly frustrated and about to just give up until I came across your video. I followed along step by step and now my camera is working perfectly. I'm not sure which step was the one that resulted in the solution since some of the steps were the same as what other people mentioned, but following along your tutorial resulted in a flawless video output. Seriously, thank you sooo much for taking the time to walk us through the setup! My camera went from having worse quality than the webcam on my Gateway laptop from 2006, to buttery smooth 4k resolution.

Update: My webcam was stuck in that 4:3 ratio as Andrew mentioned. Changed the Resolution to Custom as he described. MAGIC! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I had the same issue how to fix it you need to make sure the webcam is plugged into a 3.0 usb and you're good to go
