This man just saved my webcam. lmao I was like damn my brio look trash when I clicked add video device, then i bumped it to 4k and holy smokes it looked crisp. Thanks man good video
Thanks for a great tutorial. If you have problems finding 4K resolution like me, make sure it's plugged into a USB 3.0 port! It will allow only up to HD if it's in a USB 2.0.
My Brio is plugged in to a USB 3.0 port. But i can´t select 4K in the OBS or any other Logitech application to set the resolution to 4K. It will only allow 1080.
I think you're the first person that mentioned that you NEED to connect the camera with a USB 3.0 slot. I am still using an older Thunderbolt display (it's still good!) and I never bothered to check whether the USB slots on it are 2.0 or 3.0... Just used the "better" port on my iMac and I'm pretty confident that will solve at least some of my issues. 🙂
I was like 10 minutes into this video until i realized it won't help me.. but the Video is so good that it doesn't even bother me wasting my time watching it. Thumbs up man.
Super helpful video, thank you! Logitech Capture also works for capturing 4K but I couldn't get my camera to allow me to set it to 4K, turns out it was connected to a cable that only allowed USB 2.1. I switched back to the original cable for the camera which I had hooked up to a different computer and now I'm able to record and stream in 4K. Thanks!
You are the best teacher! I found all the answers in your videos! I set up the camera, microphone and looked at other topics, now I know who can always help me! 🔥 Thank you!!! 🔥
Dude this was so great. I thought my expensive iMac Pro was laggy. Thank you for helping me understand how to slow down the audio. FYI: I had to set my sync offset to 1300ms! But it's synced great now and the video quality is superb.
Blessup! AD...thank You for this vid as I am holding a brand new Brio, couldn't find this nowhere but apple online store had the "Magnectica" BRIO...i thought only for MAC, but what I'm seeing is it came with a magnetic piece instead of regular mount...ive put it on a desk tripod & boom its running on windows...paid only $214 total & 2 day shipping....now I'm ready for OBS
i dont understand what a three jack is 0:50. I have a macbook air, and i bought usb c drive so i can connect the brio cam to my computer. What else do i need to get my video record to 1080p?
We tried to connect our brio to the "blue jack" on our thunderbolt dock (there's no blue jack on the mac mini) and it doesn't recognize the camera. How are we supposed to use 4 k if we can't even connect it properly to our computer? We are NOT tech savvy and can't seem to find any info on this.
He mentioned a "90 degree angle lens on the Brio". I don't know what that is but his shot looks awesome and I'm gonna research it to understand what he was talking about because I already have this BRIO webcam.
Does anyone have a fix for Microphone and webcam being out of sync when streaming with Streamlabs OBS? It happened with my c920 so I upgraded to the Logitech Brio and Still have the same problem so I assume there must be a setting to correct this and it the same amount out of sync!
Dear goodness me thank you so much for this video... I have struggled so much to get some decent quality out of this webcam in OBS... I always had a crispy clear picture when I used the logitech native software and it looked awful in OBS ... thanks again great video exactly what I needed
when selecting the resolution for my Brio device properties for a video capture device in OBS, it only displays 1080p. When I change to 3840x2160 I loose the display signal.
It seems you upgraded your lights from Neewer to Elgato. If so, what was the rational behind it? Either way, what about a short video on your current studio setup?
The version of OBS I have does not allow me to type in the 4k resolution once I have added the brio...so I am still getting a grainy output...any advice? (I'm using it on a macbook pro by the way)
Hi - thanks for walking me through this, although im keeping my recording format as MKV and using the advanced setting to automatically remux to MP4. don't want to lose my footage if it crashes!
You're amazing you're insane I'm so in love with you, understandable for the noobs and not too janky for the not so noobs. Like.... I'm PROUD to have subbed to you!
Hello, I followed everything in your video but in the preview in obs and when i record there is still a grainy-ness to my picture. i don't know what to do .. can you please help?
Hey folks - if your OBS/SLOBS isn't recognizing your 4K camera in any resolution beyond 1920x1080 - that's because it needs to be plugged into a USB3.0 jack. I was accidentally plugging it into a 2.0 and had that problem. USB3.0 is required for 4K and up!!!
So even though the video and audio is off sync it looks normal on stream? it looked normal in recording so I assume it will look normal on stream even tho it doesnt look normal to me on OBS? Great tutorial BTW thank you!
I followed all your steps 1 by 1. Once I got to OBS and changed the resolution from 'default' to 'custom' my camera freezes or goes black. Any suggestions?
I have followed all the tutorials in the series and when I get to the last step of changing the resolution to 3840x2160 like you did at moment 8:15ish in the video it will not allow me to... help please :(
I have 2 Brios on my computer but the g hub only picks 1 up and stream labs keeps changing both scenes to the 1 camera I choose. I’m assuming it’s because they’re both named the same. Please someone help
Awesome series. I learned so much about getting the best results from my BRIO. I just have one question. How do you make those cool arrows during the video?
Hello! So is it possible to have these settings as a profile, and have completely different settings for another profile for video/audio and have those stay separate?
I want to use THREE Brio cams and I heard there was an issue with the Logitech software controlling more than one. Anyone using multiple Brio cams in OBS without problems?.
I can't figure out why I'm getting weird rectangles that pop up in my video. They usually have a bit of green and have another part of the image in them. I used a lot of the info you gave to make the video quality better but this artifact still remains. Do you know what this is? I can post video on my channel to show you what I mean if you need.
I have the brio 4K quite some time now and I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS VID FOR A LONG TIME... haha. Thanks a lot man. Finally getting the results I want. Finally full screen too. :-)
Excellent, thorough, straight to the point instruction and explanation. Thank you for providing valuable content without making me want to erase the rest of your persona from my brain afterward... If I had a nickel for every time I backed out of a video that started with "HEY WHAT'S UP GUYS IT'S YOUR BOY [GENERIC STREAMER NAME HERE]" I could afford a Brio for everyone who likes this video...
Please can you make a video to show best practices with the Brio camera, blue yeti mic, OBS and Teams??? I am getting there thanks to your videos but... teams is somehow laggin my image when sharing... any tips?? You are amazing!!
I bought a new "BRIO 4K STREAM" and installed everything needed but I get no fkn 4K-Options - the highest available Options are 1080p with only 30 fps.... Could you help please?
Great tutorial, thank you. I'm curious about the difference between the quality in your regular stream (bottom left) compared to the settings in your OBS preview, which don't appear to have the right color correction/saturation/exposure/etc set. Where do you set those so that OBS correctly captures it like in your regular feed?
Thanks a lot for the video! Was having trouble as OBS was not capturing from the cam at 4K and it turned out to be the USB port. The passthrough on the G815 is not Gen 3, and I had my Brio connected to this port.
Hello Awall, may I ask what is the name of that software you use to make arrows or rectangles during the video? Thanks and congratulations for the videos!
Thank you for this video. I have a question. I followed your instructions to the letter. I also previously watched your video on the best settings for the Brio out of the box. I turned off Logitech Hub before following your instruction. I ended up with a zoomed in closeup of my face in the OBS software. The properties window appears the right size, but the window in the software is zoomed in. I'm assuming that is because of the resolution I am recording at? How and where do I remedy that? Thanks;.
Interested in one on one consulting for this very issue. I have done all the steps but need help with video lag and syncing audio and video. Do you provide consulting for Mac desktops?
Keep getting delays when using OBS at 4K with Brio. If you look at OBS Forum is seems to be a problem for years now (since 2018). Or am I doing something wrong? I use Logitec Capture to setup Brio and not Logitec Gup (not sure if that is the issue?)
Do you have a video that explains how to configure this for live video platforms such as zoom, but not zoom....for work.... Do I need to open OBS and then what do I do from there? Seems these live video platforms won't allow OBS to be open. Thx
+Kyle Harder What's up Kyle Harder? I dropped all recommend specific gear on my Amazon affiliate page: www.amazon.com/shop/awalldigital. I'll be releasing a lot more gear videos shortly.
About time someone did a tutorial that focused on equipment rather than self-promotion. Straightforward and clear. Thank you.
Perfect tutorial without any fluff. Every UA-cam video should be this good
FINALLY..THE...ONLY..INTELLIGENT!!! EXPLAINING...THANKS...BRO

Thank you! This saved me a tonne of time and money. I now know what to do and what to purchase. :)

Ok gotcha 1080p for me!
Great video!
Came for the tips, stayed for the Perfect Plain shirt. Thanks for the help!

Best tutorial so far. Amazing, thank you
Amazing, after setting the delay in the audio its got great tks a lot

What’s that fader device you have on your left by ur monitor at 0:38

Watching again just to enjoy to simplicity and straightforwardness.
It seems you upgraded your lights from Neewer to Elgato. If so, what was the rational behind it? Either way, what about a short video on your current studio setup?
My lights are the same. Just added diffusers.
@@awalldigital Could you please share what diffusers you use? Thanks!
Wow what a guy, always making it simple! Great teacher, another thumbs up 👍
The version of OBS I have does not allow me to type in the 4k resolution once I have added the brio...so I am still getting a grainy output...any advice? (I'm using it on a macbook pro by the way)
even when doing a recording and not streaming mine just glitches out and drops frame rates like crazy. Any solutions or ideas on what the issue is?
Super helpful video, thank you so much. Incredibly concise and I've never heard a human that sounds more like Microsoft Sam. God bless you.
Awesome and thank you! Extremely useful for a new Brio owner.
Hi - thanks for walking me through this, although im keeping my recording format as MKV and using the advanced setting to automatically remux to MP4. don't want to lose my footage if it crashes!
Excellent. Thank You. Time to redo my OBS setup
It doesn't show 4k for me as a output option at 8:00
You're amazing you're insane I'm so in love with you, understandable for the noobs and not too janky for the not so noobs. Like.... I'm PROUD to have subbed to you!
Thanks for the info. When I added my mic I didn't have any audio delay, did I do something wrong?
Im using the MV7 usb output, maybe that's way?
I’m pretty sure when you add a video capture device you can just change the res on your brio through there
This was extremely helpful. Thank you!
Hey what kind of stand is that that you have your Brio is setup on
Do you have one of these for the 4K Brio MX?
Will I have to run in 1080 if my 3.0 usb is connected thru the the thunderbolt usb 4.0? MacBook Air M1
Hello, I followed everything in your video but in the preview in obs and when i record there is still a grainy-ness to my picture. i don't know what to do .. can you please help?
You are a fking G bro. You solved all my problems. I am not even running 4k but the settings worked perfectly. Max Respect.

Cool Vid Bro! Very Informative! First Comment Yay, lol!
Awesome, takes the pain away getting this bad boy setup. thanks heaps!
*Great, it's best explication it's simple and focus content Good work man*

You need to make sure your camera is plugged in to a 3.0 USB slot or it won’t work.
I have 2 Brios on my computer but the g hub only picks 1 up and stream labs keeps changing both scenes to the 1 camera I choose. I’m assuming it’s because they’re both named the same. Please someone help
I'm having audio sync problem with the Brio set at 1080p.
Awesome series. I learned so much about getting the best results from my BRIO. I just have one question. How do you make those cool arrows during the video?
How long does OBS Studio allow you to record for before automatically stopping?
Thank you again.
Hey there! This may be a silly question, but would you need a 4k monitor in order to run a 4k camera like the Brio?
No.
Hello! So is it possible to have these settings as a profile, and have completely different settings for another profile for video/audio and have those stay separate?
So helpful. Thank you!
Thanks allllllllllllooooo you deserve more and more
thanks habibi, it worked perfectly
Thank you very much, real Teacher, and Great tutorial
I want to use THREE Brio cams and I heard there was an issue with the Logitech software controlling more than one. Anyone using multiple Brio cams in OBS without problems?.
Dude, Thanks. Great video
Thanks for the video. Very professional presentation and it answers a lot of questions for me. Your other instructional videos are great too.
Man, Thank you for this amazing video, you saved my day! I had a hard time trying to setup this camera, but this video was very useful to help me.

Help! I did exactly this but the 4K (Face Camera) recording lags when I play the recording! What can I do to solve this?
I have the brio 4K quite some time now and I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS VID FOR A LONG TIME... haha. Thanks a lot man. Finally getting the results I want. Finally full screen too. :-)

This is an awesome and easy to understand video. Thanks so much!
Thanks! Just starting my channel but my webcam quality is terrible! Thank you for the video. I'll buy the cam now!
Great tutorial, thank you. But in obs it dont show 4k, only 1080? Why?
What About Mac ?
oh my god now I know why it was not connected in USB 3 thanks for the video 👍👌
You Rock! Thanks Andre!

Yes, make sure to select MP4, so that your files are useless when a crash occurs.
Brilliant. Thanks!
