I moved to Tomball from Dallas and I visited Conroe today ….absolutely beautiful lake and shopping scene , wished I had known sooner about Conroe!
Loving living in Conroe! Wonderful location, tons to do, family friendly, and growing so much.
FASS Brewery is awesome!!! I live in Conroe, about 10 minutes outside of downtown and I recently discovered this little corner of heaven! The owner, who's name escapes me, was so cool and welcoming!! I absolutely love the decor and everything your eyes find, from the bar to the bathroom (yes, even the bathroom), is beautiful!! I was so impressed with this place that I'm honestly proud to claim it as a "must see" in my hometown! If you haven't been, go. And if you're like me and don't drink alcohol, have the root beer... I promise you will be glad you did. Oh, and the Brat on the pretzel bun is life changing!!!
I’ve been living in Conroe all my life im glade people are moving in from other states glade you made a video for us I actually go to the Conroe high school so if yall ever go and ur still in Highschool ill be there, I also go to mcdade and Kazmierski regularly to skate on my roller blades on Saturdays and Sundays it’s very alive a night here😁

I’m trying to find out if Lake Conroe actually floods upstream of the dam. My mom likes that area and that’s why I really need to find out this information.

@@houstonisgreat1387 Many states dont have state income tax and dont have high taxes.. State income taxes are not very high for people on SS.. Face it Texas over charges on property taxes big time.

The funniest part about the growth is reading reviews of those new-buyers. They don't realize that our county doesn't enforce burn rules & it has cesspit-workers all over the county. Literally the kids are covered in sewage with skull full of aerosolized-garbage.

@@houstonisgreat1387 Read the Google Reviews for some of these new developments around Conroe. Here in the birth place of the Texas flag we also have one of the most violent little cites in all Tx that is under the control of Conroe & Houston. The Houston police chopper can get here in under 9 minutes for corporations but reducing gunfire can sometimes take longer than 2 years, the fire marshal reviews are just as accurate today as they were over 8 years ago.
Always do your research before deciding to move anywhere. The crime stats will be particularly telling. Do you really want to live someplace where sirens are the soundtrack to your life?

We need a Government to educate people about sewage by performing way better install-inspections & the Fire Marshal needs to stop telling these cesspool-yard owners to burn their leaves that are covered in not-yet-treated ammonia b/c temperatures have been below 84f. I don't need sirens.

I can’t speak much to the gay community but I can’t imagine having problems here, I have sold homes to a few gay couples here and didn’t hear anything negative about there experience here

No they have cheap homes overpriced ! It’s turned into a flip flop wearing girlie boy area and it’s just sad!
