Have you ever thought about moving to Conroe or another suburb of Houston? What attracts you to that area?
Do you ever visit communities other than “Master Planned”? I would like to know if there are smaller communities without all the fanfare which drives up the cost and higher HOA fees.
If you haven’t, would you consider doing those type of videos?
@@msb6887 Hey! Yes I do, I actually have a few videos in those types of communities. This video that you commented on is not a Master Planned community. It doesn’t have any amenities, parks, pools etc. Another area in Conroe that is not considered Master Planned is Granger Pines. That one has a small park but no big amenity center or commercial planning.

You got me on this one but I’m looking into New Caney Tx too, in my price range.

Beautiful homes and amazing prices! Just curious, when they start building more homes out there, won't the taxes and HOA's skyrocket?
Since taxes are reassessed annually, as areas get developed and demand increases, prices generally increase as well which raises taxes. The HOA fees generally don’t move, you may have slight increases over the years but from what I’ve seen it’s never too major. I’ve been in my home for 7 years and even though prices have almost doubled, the HOA is still the same.
Will definitely contact u once i make the move to Houston. I have to agree that the music is a bit on the high side as i have to go back a few times as i missed some important info.

This community won’t have an amenity center like others do. The builder said there might be a little park/green space but nothing has been locked in on the plans for it.

Music a bit to loud
Dang really?! I had my editors lower the volume on this one because I’ve been getting that feedback from some viewers. I did notice that when I listened to it on my computer the music was loud but on my tv and headphones it sounded fine. What device are you watching on?

What’s a rough estimate of the monthly payment with the 250k house ?
Hey! I can run some rough numbers…how much would you be putting down?
@ 3.5 percent or what ever fha requires
@ at $250k purchase price with 3.5% down it would be about $1,890 after taxes and insurance. This builder is currently doing a 4.875 interest rate buy down for FHA, so that’s the rate I used.

@ oh yeah at $250k it’s not bad. I just had a client move from the East coast and he bought at $295k with 3.5% down and his payment was about $2,300 after taxes and insurance.

This community is called Crockett Meadows located in Conroe.
What about mud taxes???????
There is no MUD tax here, however this area has what’s called a PID. It’s $3,300 a year for 30 years, or until it’s paid off, then it goes away. Essentially it’s similar to a MUD except that it’s a fixed payment and it eventually goes away. Whereas a MUD gets higher as values and property taxes get higher, and a MUD never goes away.
