How did u adjust it? I have a vm22 carb I keep trying to adjust mine but nothing seems to work & the bike only runs when the choke is on & it just wants to take off
Your idle is too high. There may be a screw on the throttle linkage. Loosen it to lower idle, tighten to increase. Some of these bikes have epa approved carbs which cannot be adjusted or taken apart. Those you have to replace with an aftermarket one to adjust.

Mine does the exact same thing. And your wheels are spinning on idle cause the idle screw is to far in. Look up how to unscrew idle screw.
I believe the governor needs to be adjusted correctly to prevent the rear tire from engaging while idling

Mine is having problems with when in going down hill and trying to accelerate, it sounds liek a horrible scratching noise coming from the carburetor

The clutch is out then
Place a zip tie through the spring literally insert a small zip tie and snug it. It bypasses the governor.

Carburetor seems like the issue to me it has air and idle screws on them turn idle screw in and it should fix the problem.🤞

Mine did the same thing I bought a upgraded carb and you can adjust the idle on your mini bike I adjusted the idle and it fixed my problem
