I did nearly this EXACT build a few months ago! All Amazon parts, $175 budget. You should definitely do a decently big port job on the head. With an upjet on the carb, it'll be much faster at the top end. Also, if you want 5 mph or so, use a Nibbi 26mm. It worked for me. For (relatively) cheap too
Yes, I have used the NIBBI in a few videos. Good carb!
Would you say that the best top end mod would be changing out the sprocket?
@@dunamonif you are a lightweight rider or have flat ground to drive on yes otherwise removing the governer os the best for top speed. I didn't want to do it either but these engines are so small and dont have a transmission so they really need the rpms to make top speed no matter what I did i couldn't break 60 mph even downhill with the ghost engine until i did a billey flywheel and rod and 26 lb valve springs. Edit: im 250 lbs though and live in the foothills of the rocky mtns
@@jessyhall9464 Thank You for the reply! I'm 200 lbs. So far Sprocket change bumped me up the most MPH. Is changing the springs & flywheel a hard upgrade? I've done engine change and torque converter so far. You did 60 MPH?? Wow!
Qqqqqq~ਘੳੳੳੳੳੳੳ
Another great video! I have the flywheel, 12 degree offset key, CS grind cam, 22 lb. springs, spare gaskets, & a VM22 intake kit in the mail right now - most arriving today. Hoping to do a governor delete & everything here except the connecting rod over the weekend on my B200!
Just the video I needed ! Thanks!
Such an excellent video ... thanks and congrats! 🙂👍👍
Just found your channel brother. I’ve been thinking about building a mini bike engine with some extra goodies in it. Thanks for the video! Very informative
That combo sounds good now! I'm trying to realize that fun is the key when it comes to this stuff, and I appreciate the steady content!
I was curious, have you ever put bigger valves into a stock head, and used one of those 3-angle valve seat cutting kits? That is my recommendation for a future video! I've always wanted to try that, but time and money get in the way! Thank you for considering!
Pretty damn cool man. Nice consistent pull with alot more performance all at an affordable price..!
I thought the knock off rods didn't come with them style rod bolts?
Great instructional video like always. I agree port that head and thinner head gasket and test.
Thanks for everything, great content and love the budget minded build!
Hey bud, you do some great work. I’ve learned a lot from you and the mini byte expert. Great stuff keep going.
Thanks! Thanks for watching the videos.
Im buying this exact bike here at my local tractor supply so these videos are really helpful, thanks for sharing!
I just got one last week. You’ll love it😂
Thanks for watching!
They're on sale for $599. The one I looked at the other day is really calling my name. Got my son a Maverick 98 from GPS for Christmas. Now I need something to ride with him. It really looks like a nice solid platform.
Another great video!
Great way of disassembly.
Great series here
That's awesome man! It's good to see that you decided to see what you coud get out of the 196 that came on the bike. Port the head and raise the compression, both inexpensive mods but time consuming. Great video once again. Maybe throw some more timing at that cast flywheel, I've heard from dover power and racersproquip that power falls off a cliff beyond 28* because the magnets are too weak. I don't know because I don't have a dyno but I would really like to know if that is correct or not. I've been splitting the difference at 30* because I'm unsure
That's interesting. Did they say when the power falls off? Like above a certain RPM? Or through the whole RPM range? I have a couple of these on my 196's both set at 32*
@@Deucealive75contact either of those sellers if it is OK to run their cast flywheels at 32* and they will tell you to keep it no more than 28*
@@amandarego9684 Thanks.
Wow. I’m impressed. I think I’m gona try the cheap rod on my Coleman. The cast aluminum flywheel really made it snappy on mine. It was a noticeable difference.
Good idea on the flywheel!
Great series here.
you're the king of harbor freight and Chinese minibikes and parts 😉
You should make a video on trying to see if a 212 bullet flywheel will work or please lmk if it will 🙏🏽love your videos to keep on going and can never have enough mini bikes 💪🏽
That is turning out to be a sweet bike.
When I did my head I had it off for a head gasket anyway.
Not a big thing to do with it on, I am just paranoid and didn't want to pull the side cover just to find a lifter haha.
Great video
Hey bud, this is Brian again. Great work on the videos again could you ask the mini bike expert what bolt comes in a 196 cc crankshaft for the centrifugal clutch and another thing what battery was you using in the beginning of the QS 120 build? I have a 60 V 25 amp 50 amp BMS is that gonna be sufficient enough to run the 120
Good job
Where did you get your crank tool at can you send a link where you got it at😊
Belt looks a bit loose. Can you see if a tighter belt improves performance?
Loose is better than tight in this case
Could you possibly do a parts list and link to help get the right product?
what difference do tires make? same size etc but with a road oriented tread rather than V treads? (and knowing what the pressures are)
and a loose flappy jacket V well fitting clothing for the top speed would be interesting too. I'm sure it makes 1km/h difference on a moped (top speed of 60km/h or 36-37mph), but can't really measure it on something without a speedo.
It would be cool testing what those budget billet parts are capable of
Sickk 🔥
Hey I wanted to ask you arc new 6696 install on 212 predator and the starter cup won’t engage it’s maybe half a in to far back like the spacing is different with the new light small fin flywheel have you ever had that issue ? Or do you think the key could be the issue the coil lines up great EVEYTHING is good other then it’s to far in to reach the cup for pull starter
Would you mind showing us the lighting you do? Needing to do it to my bike asap!
I have a few videos on lighting. Here is one of them ua-cam.com/video/75arrzEwOvc/v-deo.html
Next play around with the driven pully and some spring changes. Then maybe one of the stage kits for the Juggernaut or try going opposite direction of those kits and add weight, I know that will reduce stall speed but might increase mph on the top end.
I wonder what same setup in a 223cc configuration would do? I'm thinking very little difference
I switched my Colman 199 to a predator 224, BIG difference!
I have a b200 with a 212 power fist motor no governor can I put a nibbi 24mm carb on it? Would it run ok?
I have a question can you put a preditor 212 in a APC chopper
Couldn't you remove every other fin on the flywheel?
Great videos🫡
What is the gear ratio on the right side after the tc? Does it use a 10 up front?
I use the same flywheel with a +12 key it works good
Bikes runs great! Next up-pwk carb, thin head gasket, 14cc head and ratio rockers👍???
Thanks! That's the plan! I have a " budget"14cc Chamber head.
Hey black, I wanted to use the exactly same flywheel in the video but with stock internals stock cam, except no governor it’s got a header pipe and vm22 carb. What degree key would you recommend so that my engine runs smooth?
Or could I use the original key that’s already on the bike with the new flywheel
9:44 i did that at first and wondered why it was a turd lol
Are you build them and sell them too? I'm very kinda interesting in those bike
where do you find the tool to lock the shaft so you can torque the flywheel? i would make one if i had the tools
I made it out of an old clutch but you can get them at GoPowerSports
@@Black66 thx im tryna be like you when i get older fr i have a minibike video i just need to edit and post it. any way you can check me out? im just doing gaming right now just to get my foot in the door and get more comfortable on camera
i just blew my engine up on my coleman i had a predator 212 and its my first mini bike and i forgot to do a oil change and it blew up on me while i was out riding love the videos helps me understand more about my bike
Can vid do a buget 223 wildcat build soon?
Can you explain how you did the battery and electric system so I can get rid of the charging coils
There are a few mini bike lighting videos on the channel. ua-cam.com/video/75arrzEwOvc/v-deo.html
Do you know of a LED bulb replacement for this bike the b200r?
Hey so my wife an I both have one of those I took off governor put it all back an now engine won't start any ideas?
Try running some VP racing 4 cycle gasoline next Black 66.
Compare a pwk28 and 33mm mikuni pumper carburetor
How do you know if you got it correct when putting the string in ?
Hello friend! Please tell me what kind of rope trick you pulled off. Why did you put the rope in the combustion chamber?
So the valves didn't fall down into the combustion chamber.
@@Black66 I understand correctly that you just inserted as much rope as went inside. And the piston rises up as much as possible.
How did you manage to get the chain on the right side from the converter?
There are a few different models of the B200. The B200 has a torque converter , the B200r has a jack shaft and the chain on the opposite side and the B200RSV has a torque converter and rear suspension. There are also a few sub models.
You should pick up a $25 tach that you can swap bike to bike on runs like this to pull rpm data to go along side your speed data. I'm using a Runleader version that just has a pigtail wire you wrap around the plug wire 4-5 times & zip tie. Nothing permanent to the bike. Would be interesting to see what rpms you're pulling as you mod stuff...
I have used a tach in a couple of the videos. I'll have to do some again.
U can measure the crank first, zero the mic at that position then measure the rod, this will give you the difference with no math.
I hear yeah good idea! I do the math in my head real quick as I'm going along.Usually takes a few seconds to see if its out of spec or not. A lot easier than plastiguage.
Should use a mic and telescope gauge
@@user-gt3xx6lc1oYes, I can usually tell right away if these rods are out of spec Even with plastiguage. Its almost like a short hand at this point. So far so good.
Juggernaut stage 1 tuner kit with the torsion spring set! Please and thank you!
Now is a perfect time to use your wide band AFR setup and get it into high 13 to 14 AFR, I’ll bet your 0-30 Will get into 3s with some jetting
Wouldn’t the clearance change after torquing the rod bolts down?
Only by a few ten thousandths of an inch.
I have the coleman rsv added factory style carb an a header I have not been into the engine it pull front wheel 1 inch an runs 60 plus mph out a 196 engine
Wow 🤠👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Try put the gps suspension kit on it
I want one of these but I have no experience putting it together.
Some of the stores have them put together.
Do I need to advance timing with stock cam
Here is a video advancing the timing with a stock cam ua-cam.com/video/ZTC1ZAkuNdk/v-deo.html
Where can I get the 40 tooth sprocket ?
Links are in the description of the videos in the B200 playlist ua-cam.com/video/jjtfBiuCFOM/v-deo.html
🤘
Just curious how much roughly to pay a shop to do all this ?
Honestly I'm not to sure. Maybe someone in the comments can answer this .
What happened to your seat?
What rod did you use?
Links for the parts used are in the description of the video.
...ah ah, assembly lube!
Oil works perfect for these builds.
Anyone have the link for the cam
Links for the parts used in the build are in the description of the video.
now tune that juggernaut for higher stall and i bet that 0-30 really dips down. of course you know all this but i like to comment to keep that algorithm goin. I have one of ec carbs 228 strokers, ws gonna toss it on my trailmaster but i think i might just do a hip up of the 196. I'm tryin to find a "mini manco quester" 3 wheeler to put that 228 on and match my vanguard v twin full size manco quester. .
I think it would be cool to put that 228 on the Mini Manco Quester !
@@Black66 I think so too, just have to find one?? I missed out on one because I didn't know at the time they made a mini version of the quester, so i thought it was some home made sort of thing and passed it over since it was about 4 hrs away. now i'd drive 8 to find one soon. Maybe have it all done by trikefest in late june.
@@Black66 you should come on up this way for mini mayhem, you'd love it.
@@billwilliamson9842When is mini mayhem?
@@Black66april 19-21 at buscoe beach atv park in goldsboro nc, its a cars and cameras event, awesome time.
Looks like Nevada.
AZ
well i have a different one that looks just like that bike!
Yes there are a few different models of the Coleman B200 bike.
you gotta put the juggernaut driver in the price or else it isnt just $135, those are like 100 by themselves
Watch the video. I think stock one js as good, he lost like 1/4 of a second 0-30 and gained no top speed w the juggernaut install. Imma run the stock driver
Change skinny tires
Did I say something wrong? My comment is gone.
Not sure how that happened. Say it again! 😀👍
Hi I like ur channel and I asked u a question? I’m not shire if u enter act with ur subscribers? Hopefully u do because there was other good channel I was watching however they don’t reply so I took my subscription back sice they don’t really care to help it’s just for them as in there channel? That’s really sad because way I look at it is it’s 2way street everyone wins ❤anyhow I was asking u a question on one of your videos as Farr as ur favorite go to carburetor for mini bikes
I also kno it depends on what motor let’s say 420 cc I kno everyone loves 212 but wirh out working on 420 there doing like 65 out the box and thank u sir. 🎉
2nd!
Good job
Thanks! Check out the B200 playlist for the entire series on this bike. ua-cam.com/video/jjtfBiuCFOM/v-deo.html
