How is Ivan broken? Which version of the MMPR: the Movie game are we talking about? Or was he added to BFTG?
@@CassiusStelar Just in case you're actually looking for an answer here, they're referring to MMPR: The Fighting, where Ivan's an unnerfed, playable boss character that can't be grabbed, can't be hit low at all, and has full on controllable flight. It's technically possible to beat him, but with him having the best movement in the game completely uncontested (complete with being able to just fly to the top of the screen where nobody can reach him), immunity to getting mixed, and all of the crazy moves that boss characters got in old games like that (projectiles that beat all other projectiles, 1-frame normals that hard knockdown and/or can be combo'd out of, etc.), good luck.

One of my favorite examples of an unintentionally broken character is Kyle from a Nickelodeon flash game Super Brawl 2. Kyle is basically the lamest character from the worst cartoon that nick ever made, fanboy and chum chum, and 90% of his moveset is really mediocre and bad, but then he has one move that spawns a projectile on to you that will not only always hit and do good damage, but makes you completely invincible throughout the entire move, so even if you have a move that bypass it like a command dash, it's not going to do anything, and you can spam it over and over again instantly if you're good enough. This is a game that already has characters who can infinite you not only with one move, but also with projectiles, yet this random dork Kyle, despite being in a game with skipper and chum chum, is the best character unanimously just because of this one goddamn move.

Brawl Meta Knight was unintentionally broken and here's why: His base design is that of a Rushdown character with fast attacks that can combo you and open you up and tools that allow him to get in closer. However, the way that Brawl was designed combined with Meta Knight's crazy good movement and fast disjoints allowed him to play as a Keep-away character. Sonic in Smash 4 and Ultimate is designed in a similar way where his core design is Rushdown, but his tools allow him to play Keep-away except replace ledge-hogging and fast disjoints with Spindash and make it so that there's another character that's even more broken than he is.
I love how Coney is just fighting game Ludwig and Ludwig is commentary Coney.
