I have watched so many reviews about Leatt knee braces and I'm so glad I clicked on this one because everything about this is genuine and beautiful. I'm definitely getting the X-Frames but more importantly I'm SUBBIN to you!!! The real crash footage and bloopers at the end is the cherry on top. Much respect for you brother!!! 💪🏻🤓😎🤓😎🤓😎🤓😎🤓😎👍🏻
I use the Leatt C-frame braces. I love them, but they have to put on just right or they will become uncomfortable. When worn correctly, they're great. I found it best to put them on while standing up instead of sitting.
Thanks for your breakdown. Was in the same boat and finally hurt a knee in a situation where I felt a brace instead of pads would have helped. Landed on the Xframes and have no complaints.
4:59 this is me now.. used only knee pads, crashed, and my knee is out for 2 weeks.. #KneeEffusion sucks My Leatt braces came in the mail 1 day after my crash...
Keep up the good reviews! Like your honest approach. Would love a comparison between Leatt, Donjoy and CTi. No question regarding Leatt as a quality product. Another great video..!
Yup this the first brace review I've found that's actually critical. Keep it up! Please include POD in the follow up too ;) Also a question: Do the Leatts bend past 90 degrees? I tried POD K7s and sent them back because they wouldn't.
Nice video bro. Leatt sent you the three braces to test and you did an excellent job reviewing their braces. Not cheap by any means but for my money the DonJoy A22 Titanium custom braces are #1 - End of Story.
Funny ,as I am looking at this video,I am seating in the couch with a messed up knee for using knee pads only and who knows what I have tore inside of it,Its been a week and cant walk yet on it. Anyways thanks for the review,I am looking at these and the Asterisk Cell 2.0 also.
My experience with Leatt C-Frame is the opposite of yours. But I didn't get them for free by Leatt. After 1 year use ca 80 hour the hinge was broken, on a product that cost 600€. Replacement/Sparepart cost 300€. And then they didn't send me the rubber stopper (to stop the movement). It was a new design on the hinge, so the old stoppers was not usable. Customer service is nothing Leatt do, hopeless to get any help. Stupid part of the C.Frame is that the top part comes in S/M and L/XL, but the part around your lover leg only comes in a "one size fits all" like all Chinese product (maybe different on newer models). means constant pain.(it's to tight) So to a company where I have used total of 1500€ I find the product BAD. Bought new Knee Brace from POD, they just work, and spare parts to a reasonable prize. Never ever LEATT again. Crap quality to a high prize
I've gone through a total of 3 pairs of the old generation C Frames (+ 3 knee cups, one "C frame" and one old cable secured hinge). I bought them in 100% retail price with my own hard earned money. What I should've told in the video is that I used to work as sales representative in motorcycle apparel store and we had both Leatt and POD braces. The POD braces are good but in intensive use they wear out pretty quickly and you'll have to buy spare parts quite often. That's the "feel" I received from various offroad and road riders. I never got the chance to try them in real situations. Otherwise PODs are protective and they are super comfortable to wear! The updated C Frame Pro version feels and works so much better than the old one but somehow I find the other Leatt models fit/work better than the C Frame. Making a "decision" of hating a company (or anything in life) after one bad experience is just stupid. I hope you have better experience with quality companies like Leatt who wanted to support me to make these free videos. But thank you for the comment and sharing your own experiences! Cheers, Aleksi
Well, I've been riding with what I believe are the "new C-frame" braces for 2 years now, and aside from the brace sleeve marks coming off they are basically like new. I thought the velcro straps would wear out, but they are perfect. I don't ride like a maniac and haven't really crashed much so maybe that makes a difference.
@@EnduroWithAlex No, I don't hate a company after one bad experience, but after several. Leat are expensive, they don't give you any support, and the quality on their products are low.. So far I have tried Leatt C-frame, Leatt neck brace, and Leatt body protection, all with the same result, bad quality, no interest from Leatt if you have any problems with the gear you have baught from them. Several Enduro buddys have the same experience. Changed hinges on my Leatt C-Frame after 90 hours and that cost me more than 300 U$D. Changed my C-frame with POD K-8 had to change hinges once after 200 hours, to a price of less than 60U$D, Guess I have used them now for more than 300 hours of driving. Thats the difference of (POD) quality or (Leatt) not. So again, no more LEATT.
Well I can really relate to it...crashed pretty pretty hard about two months ago and only wore knee pads - never again! Protect your knee! It needs to last for a lifetime ;)
bought C Frame just for the look for road riding, and regret almost instantly zero protection of knee, that front shell is so fragile, you can bend it by hand, so i want to buy additional d3o knee protector foam inside - is falling off, so you need buy 3M sticky pads and replace it and yeah, official support is just awful, simply ignores all your emails..
@Travis Stamper because it looks cool, and provide protection *above* my skinny-fit jeans ;p plus i saw video when rider hit a road sign with his leg, and then it became half leg :O
its a good video aleksi! i did make the mistake you're telling us not to make @ 4.59 of wearing only a bodyprotector and then crashing hard....no i'm home for almost 2 weeks :O :O thanks man!
owned the cframes since jan 2019.. broke the #1 strap 3 times in months, the hinge wore out in .5 months, and pinched behind my knee leaving a permanent bump.. i dont like the Cframes
Yes, ran them for 6 months last year. Good in legs, pretty big in size and the security cables get loose pretty quickly. I find the X-frame more comfortable than Mobius.
Hey guys!
Here's the shortcuts to all the braces:
Z Frame - 0:22
C Frame - 1:24
X Frame - 3:21
Have a great weekend!

Fred Bunkley yo también tengo una C frame. Tus conclusiones son exactas, y las de Aleksi también.

#KneeEffusion sucks
My Leatt braces came in the mail 1 day after my crash...
That sucks :( Hope that you get those healed up quickly. Just do some serious magic to your knees with quality exercises. 👌
Hi Aleksi!
I believe you can tell us some more about durability of the X-frame, now that some time passed by?

Love the review and riding footage. Thanks!
Great input, and editing as usual! Keep rockin brother!
Been thinking about possibly moving over to a brace from pads this has been very useful thanks for sharing
Hi! I am using x-frame too. They are comfortable for me, and did their job not once.
Great review and simple breakdown/explanation. Thanks for sharing.
Great video Aleksi! Have you ever used CTI braces?

I looked at Leatt, and was going to invest in them; however, POD was a lighter, stronger, and better warranty knee brace.

Alpinestars Fluid Pro vs Leatt X-Frame wich one you prefer and why?
Good comparison and info. Thanks.
Hi Aleksi.
I agree with you.
For me C Frame rules 😉👍🏻

Are the patellas removable on the c or x frame? I ride moto but also roadcoarse so i want them to fit under my leather suit
Awesome,breakdown and comparrison!!🇺🇲👍
Buonasera a tutti, io vorrei comprare delle nuove ginocchiere/tutori ma sono indeciso tra la c frame e x frame!
Qualcuno sa consigliarmi per piacere?
Hi is it normal that the x frame hurts a bit on the outside of the leg or did i buy a size too small?
X-frame is my choose too!
what tyres are you currently having on your bike?
Awesome review!!!
Nice review, good job!!
Have you try mobius x8? some thoughts?
Yes, ran them for 6 months last year. Good in legs, pretty big in size and the security cables get loose pretty quickly. I find the X-frame more comfortable than Mobius.
cool vid mate. .thanks!
Good review man
Xframe straps suck. these wear out so fast youll be looking for options
Thank you alexi!
